In GSMarena in HTC HD2 spec says that the chipset is
Qualcomm MSM 8250 with adreno 200 GPU but in the site of Qualcomm it says that htc hd2 is with Qualcomm MSM 8250B and adreno 205 GPU same as Desire HD. What is the real htc hd2 chipset? Thanks in advance.

Hi all
I have a question,is our touch hds Qualcomm MSM 7201A 528 MHz processor so much weaker than other processors in the new touch screen devices, not only htc but also in samsung devices( example 800mhz in omnia2)?
Yes it is, even compared to the 533mhz S3c samsung
I thought that the hardware was good but that the windows mobile lagged.
qualcomm is jack of all trades master of non
it got everything on chip wifi, gps, bluetooth 3g cpu, "gpu" the works
but at times the master of non part shows
i heared about the new chipset msm 7x30 how is its performance compared to snapdragon ,as iits speed is from (800,to 1ghz ) and how is its gpu

This link says that the HD7 is the same HD2 with different OS.. So i guess the drivers designed for the HD7 should work in HD2. And it uses the same processor QSD 8250..So Wht yu People think?
I Dont see where it says it uses the QSD 8250 ? it only states a 1ghz cpu, could be any model. But we could be lucky
its listed on engadget tho
http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/11/htc-hd7-is-a-hd2-lookalike-with-windows-phone-7-and-720p-video/
qsd8250
And its clear enough here

And microsoft had given their own drivers for the gpu ADRENO 200 (which the hd2 uses, it will increase the performance by 200% it seems).. And only qsd8250 is certified by windows for now. tats y htc released all four phones with qsd 8250 while desire hd uses qsd8255 with adreno 205
does anybody know how to optimize the performance of our gpu, the adreno 200 by qualcomm? some said this gpu is strong enough for mobile gaming. theres has to be some kind of tweak for it maybe?
just curios
The Wildfire most certainly does not have an Adreno 200 GPU. It is actually the Desire and the Wildfire S which does.
I am assuming you are getting this info from GSMArena. They have mixed up the GPU Specs of the Wildfire and the Wildfire S.

Lol...U made my day!
So who will answer me? What is the real GPu of HD2 Adreno 200 or Adreno 205?
As far as I can remember (latest WM6.5 rom was on Dec2010!) it was saying MSM 8250B for my device. Maybe there are earlier versions out with 8250-chip...but I don't think so!
Flash an WM6.5 rom and U will be sure.
It's Adreno 200. Same as Nexus One.
Desire HD gets more fps in the same 3d benchmark as HD2.
P.S. Please shorter your sig. It's big.
