MDA and XDA extended ROMs : Where to get ?

can anyone tell me where to get these ROMs ?
they're not on the ftp server any more.

What are extended roms ?
The file you have listed below is there, problem with your url, try:
ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Universal/
then manually click extended roms etc ....

ROMs GONE
I must be awfully thick - I've tried Filezilla, IE6 and Opera, the only directory I see at ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Universal/ is Shipped Rom and then Xda_Exec_LaunchROM_v113139.exe, nothing else.
I've done a bit of searching and it appears some unkind person has deleted a lot of the Universal files.
Can some kind soul re-upload them or provide somewhere where I can download them?
This sort of stuff is good to distribute using BitTorrent don't you think?

I agree, been looking for the Radio Update and you're right only one ROM in the upload site

I am just in the process of uploading the MDA, XDA and jasjar extended ROMs back since I had downloaded them a while ago
edit>>done, but I can only see the files if I use xdaupload as login...odd

found the ROMs you uploaded, they've ended up in the /universal/upload area.

which contains the File: MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe for the rom. been deleted

Well there zip but they work you also need tcpmp installed

Radio File?

I can't seem to download the latest radio file Cyanogen provides a link to in his ROM's thread. Does anyone happen to have a copy of this file?

[Q] Translate MIUI ROM

Hi,
I'm using the official MIUI ROM from miui-dev.com Since this ROM is only available in Chinese and English, I was trying to translate it into Dutch. There already is a MIUI ROM which is multilanguage (the NDT MIUI ROM). Is it possible to take the Dutch language files from that ROM and implement it in the official MIUI ROM, or create a flashable language pack from it?
(I hope this is the right place to ask this!)

There are multilang packs available, with links in one of the old miui sd build's threads. But the site linked to is in German (I think), and I've not been able to download anything from it.
Should you find it, and be able to download the files, could you please up them to a free filehosting site so I can get 'em too?
I am using the build where the d/l link is, and almost everything is in Chinese...

Could you provide a link of the thread you're talking about? Will look into it, and upload the files you need.

Theres a multi-upload link in the Jaws MIUI 1812... sd build thread, I just saw it and downloaded. Haven't applied it to my AD SD build yet. It was the 1st miui build in sd development forum a few mins ago, but I can't drop a link from the tapatapk app tho, sorry. I'm away from home so no computer copy n paste action right now lol.

Hi there,
Have you tried asking around at the MIUI forum @ miuiandroid.com for a dutch translation? I downloaded the latest multilang rom for the HD2 with a small fix from one of the devs from there. It indeed is in English although for me it took day or two to get used to. Definitely good enough for now
Besides some minor bugs and an average battery life (Which from the start isn't the best feature of the HD2) it remains an very graphically impressive UI.

[Arabization] Full Arabic Support for Alien ROM Build 4

I have taken sometime to build my own Custom ROM but then I have decided to use Alien ROM.. I started with Alien ROM Build 3 and now upgraded to Build 4..
I required arabic support, so I built this CWM based package to be flashed over Alien ROM Build #4.

I attempted to install this anyway, i went to cmw and tried to install it from there and I got this installation abort massage.

I am not sure what framework its using. I will download it this weekend and patch its framework.

Quick question does it add only Arabic or Farsi too ???

Flashed the file, phone boots up normal, but i am unable to see any Arabization in sms.
and that's is the only thing i want to Arabiz

I intend on buying a bell Atrix. I need arabic support. Websites, typing, texting, that sort of thing. Rooting the Atrix, then flashing this ROM will achieve this, yes?
