Hi,
i want buy a T-mobile G2 (HTC Vision) from USA and i want know if FM radio works if i change ROM.
Thanks.
When i originally rooted, i installed cyanogenmod 7.1 and the FM radio was working. You should have no problems, just make sure that the rom has FM radio support.
If the rom doesn't have native FM radio support, you can always download Spirit Radio off Market.

i had a similar problem to this, try another set of headphones. i used my over head ones and got reception. though i do not wish to use these all the time but at least it indicates i am getting radio stations.
is there any possible way to use fm radio on my nike200? (16 keys)
still have official rom & radio (latest update wm 6.1 pro from htc.com)
if i could use fm radio with perhaps rds, with this kitchen rom and stuff, then i would consider to change os, otherwise don't see why i would need another rom...
i use NexusHD2-FRG83D V1.8 rom

does any fm radio apps for my device, i use it on my WM but there is no appps for fm radio in market
The Nexus One has no FM radio. That's what the Build u use is from.
You'd need a Sense build for that from a device that has FM radio.
which rom you recomend me for use fm radio on android, can you post
thanks
I do not agree, CM6 build or ROMs like superRAM do have FM radio support. Just try few, you will not be disappointed.
JDMS 1.6.2 NAND ROM, the best for me (tried few allready), and it has radio, working GPS, etc.
Sent from my HTC bravo using XDA App
Hi all,
I've just installed [27.MAR][CWM] NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.5 [Android2.3.3][Kernel: tytung_r8.3] onto my HTC HD2. Very pleased with the result, except I did not realise that there was no FM Radio
So my question is, is there an FM Radio addon that I can use for this build?
The FM Radio is blocked by Google in the NexusOne by default, and because that rom is a NexusOne port, so that is the reason why is not FM radio in it
Cyanogenmod 7 have FM radio on NexusOne kernel and an apps thanks to MIUI team
You might be able to push the MIUI radio (cm7 one) to /apps. Just look for the MIUI FM Radio.apk and do some research.
Can we port an FM Radio apk to this device?
can someone post telstra version of the radio? I heard that it is working on GSM
