is there any possible way to use fm radio on my nike200? (16 keys)
still have official rom & radio (latest update wm 6.1 pro from htc.com)
if i could use fm radio with perhaps rds, with this kitchen rom and stuff, then i would consider to change os, otherwise don't see why i would need another rom...

i had a similar problem to this, try another set of headphones. i used my over head ones and got reception. though i do not wish to use these all the time but at least it indicates i am getting radio stations.
I upgraded my o2 branded mini to
Photon/RUU_Photon_HTC_Europe_1.36.401.1_Radio_Signed_32.2803.05.06_0.63.05.36_Ship.exe
and it took fine HOWEVER my radio is listed as
0.63.05.18 and I found out that .36 is the latest Radio ROM.
Darkforces advises against messing with the radio,; is there a way around this to get the latest radio rom?

I am using osKitchen with WWE Leo 3.14 rom as a base. I have changed the nk.exe to tmous 2.14 to enable the 576mb ram and make the builds tmous friendly.
I have noticed that FM radio is freezing when trying to scan different channels or finding the channels but not playing anything. So far I have tried the following combinations:
If I use the nk.exe from LEO WWE 1.66 rom FM radio the radio works fine, but you loose the 576mb hack.
If I use the nk.exe from LEO WWE 3.14 rom you get 576mb hack and working fm radio but there seems to be problems with it reporting internal memory correctly.
If I use the nk.exe from LEO TMOS 2.10 / 2.14 rom you get 576mb hack and the fm radio freezes.
I am using os 29022 and sense 2021
Any Ideas?
Possible fix found!! I have downlaoded RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_3.14.531.0_Radio_15.42.50.09U_2.14.50.04_LEO_1.5_Ship and used it as my base, makiing the rom tmous compatable.
I then added the 3 connection setup packages from my existing rom and it seems to have worked! I will continue to do futher testing but, so far I can make phone calls, get data and get FM Radio to work and it is also reporting the free space correctly.
I will have to start again from scratch and clean up the rom (a lot!) as there is a lot of bloatware in it!

When i originally rooted, i installed cyanogenmod 7.1 and the FM radio was working. You should have no problems, just make sure that the rom has FM radio support.
If the rom doesn't have native FM radio support, you can always download Spirit Radio off Market.
