Hello,
Just for information and JUST FOR TF101 (NOT TF101G) but... the title speaks itself.
You can now download ICS from ASUS site.
It seems that all countries are concerned.
Regards
It's been available for a while now

It's not the ICS UPDATE it is ICS...
ICS should now be available for the TF101 at least here in Italy!
Perhaps a thread like this would add something to all the others if it was more specific.
'ASUS site' is not specific.
ICS has been downloadable from the global ASUS site since february 29 here: http://www.asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Pad_Transformer_TF101/#download (choose 'Android')
All countries?
Just checked, still no CN sku available been waiting for ages now as mine has a CN sku onboard.
Any ideas someone?

it's an image that updates from honeycomb to ICS so how's it not an update? Im not trying to start anything I just want to know what makes it not considered an update if your build number and Android version are higher. Unless if I think correctly about your logic behind this, I'm not arguing, but if Im right I'll have to say Im arguing your point, but to keep this from turning into something big, i won't respond i just want to know why you say it's not update. I could see it being called an upgrade, but for your system to be upgraded you need to update everything

Maybe he means it is the first ICS release not the update that was released yesterday.
Lol.
It was just an information..... just for sharing.
So, I meant that ASUS had put ICS version online because, so far only FOTA version was available.
Users could pick up this version to install it manually.
In brief:
This information was rather intended for users who did not have access to the FOTA version.
Sorry if I misspoke.

I am guessing this is 3.2 and i've downloaded but haven't tried the update. I am rooted, so i am guessing it will fail.
I am not sure if anyone has decrypted the official 3.2 update, but i'd be willing to make it available if someone can tell me where to find it on my system and potentially how to decrypt and prep it.
Where are you at if you don't mind me asking? I am in cst in the USA and no update as of yet...
You sure it wasn't the small patch that was pushed a few days ago?

In the US (Eastern Time Zone). I suppose it could be a small patch... where do i look to find out?
post the ver. downloaded n well know.
it was only 14MB, v4.010.13. I am guessing it isn't the 3.2 update b/c it is so small.
Moved to general.

Yep, its just the patch. You are still on 3.1.
Hopefully that is just sweeping the street before they repave with 3.2
New FOTA update ver. 8.6.6.23
(grabbed link from transformer itself (~10mb):
http :// fota.asus.com /delta_package/eee-pad/WW_epad/formal/8.6.6.19-user-WW-8.6.6.23-user-WW-20111205-134625/update_1-2.zip (sorry for the this link, can't post normal one))
In the archive a lot of built-in app patching (like weather, youtube, market, maps etc), and (!) asus-backup. It means, that they probably closed the hole for rooting devices.
Also in archive blob file with header MSM-RADIO-UPDATE. It looks like, that new radio presents here too. But the date of the file is odd.. 22 march 2011.. a bit old, yeah?
Unfortunately I just finished this update from a brand new TF 101g... And I was trying to root with Razorclaw 1.0.1 but is seems not working anymore
It gives me the following error :
Unknown error occurred whist trying to root device : 256
Any idea how to solve this "problem"?

Razorclaw will need to be updated too as it wouldnt run on a lower firmware than 8.6.6.19 So id wait for the dev to update it.
Did I miss something and there's a new OTA update coming?

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to wait for a root method before I download that update whenever it gets pushed to my TAB.
Is anyone with a US SKU getting an update notification?

Is it possible to stop this update (without root) and how ?
What I remembered from the last update you could only delay it for 3 days (as far I remembered).
Does fota have and update from 8.6.6.15 or is there a link to download 8.6.6.19 on the fota site.

Go to your applications and find DM Client. Clear its data.
Does anyone have the dlpkgfile from the 8.6.6.19 update? (e.g. the previous update?)
I need it to compare to the 23 to see what all changed.

Maybe by not updating? Most units ship with older firmware so unless you buy a VERY new device, you're out of risk.

Can someone enlighten us if this is an update for the TF101 or the TF101G ?
I've yet to see this update on my TF101.
I got this update last week , it ruled out my root TF101G
HTK75.WW_epad-8.6.6.23-20111202 . I'd say it is very very bad move from asus to close every thing , i think they wanna push us into PRIME .... ***k them .

Are firmwares with 8.6.6.23 for the TF101G?
I got my Galaxy Tab from the middle east, it's officially unlocked but still no 3.2 update. I know there are custom rom with 3.2 update, but I'm looking for the official stock rom. Is there a published release date?

Samsung seems to be very secretive with its update schedule. I have a Swedish version of the pad and I’m still waiting for the release of 3.2.
In the Netherlands 3.2 has been out already for almost a month or more

You could just flash one of the stock 3.2 Roms floating around manually, or wait for the "supposed" Q1 release of Ice Cream Sandwich.
Your guess is as good as mine.
I am waiting for a 3.2 update on my gtab 10.1 wifi. It doesnt make sense to me that somehow the 3G version got it before the wifi version when the 3G version has to go through Samsung AND the carriers here, while the wifi version just needs to go through Samsung.
I dont know why I stick with these guys...

I checked samfirmware but only the 3.1 firmware is available, where do I find a 3.2 stock tom that supports Arabic?

Wow,I never knew some devices have not received the Honeycomb 3.2 version. What then becomes of the Ice Cream Sandwich for these users?
I'm guessing they will probably skip 3.2 and go with the 4.0 ICS release.
It's 3.1 and build number is HMJ37 P7500JPKG6

I hope thats what they are planning to do. Otherwise I will be sad.
I got a 10.1 wifi+3g model, and there is no 3.2 in Greece available.
Still on 3.1
I believe that it will go directly on v4 here in Greece.
I emailed Samsung UK yesterday to ask when we might expect it and they said there are currently no plans to release 3.2 in the UK. I hope that means we may go straight to ICS.
So what will happen, if we take the FW from a country that have released the 3.2 and we install it to our tab?
I just got the OTA 3.2 update for Verzion's 4g LTE version here in the US today at about 5:00pm EST, I live in the southern states. It was a 398mb file.
I just received the 3.2 update through Kies. It's faster but the Auto-rotation is not responding???

Yeah, auto rotation was enabled but still didn't work, but now after messing with calibration it's working now. The update is really great!

Just noticed support.asus.com has the JB firmware and source uploaded to site.
Just US, or are the WW and TW builds included?

Looks like US only as for right now, keep checking the asus site as they might be in the process of updating right now.

There it is, now since I have never messed with other firmware's before, I will assume, I shouldn't flash a US firmware if I have a WW device?

Definately wait for your WW firmware
ANd incase you dont know how to flash the file. Download the file on the ASUS Support site(v10 epad launcher..), unzip this file and copy it to your SD card, then flash. Although I would probably return my build.prop to its original file
Can't wait for the first ROM's based on this
Oh how very exciting. I'm rooted but have been holding off on all the different CM builds because of the GPS issues. But this should be fulling functional, can't wait to see some roms popping up with this.
On the official jelly bam site i've found a release wich is found no where else version 8.3.0 does anyone know wich bootlloader versions it supports i've found a post on the web saying that a previous release wasn't compatible with 4.2 bootloader but that was in april the latest release was in june!
