What kind of battery life are you guys getting when playing games for long periods on your kindle?

I've had the prophet for a few weeks now, and the only problem that's really getting on my nerves is the battery. I mean, in standby the device is getting great battery time, dont get me wrong. But whenever you are doing anything on it, especially wifi or actions that require screen-on, like word processing or internet surfing, or games and movies, the battery drops way too fast...
I saw that expansys has an extended battery (1550 mha instead of 1200) but I'm wondering whether that would be a significant increase or not...
What's been your experience?

Essentially you'll get a quarter of your battery life on top of what you already have... So if your 1200mAh battery lasts 8 days, you'll get 10 days from the 1500mAh battery,

Might be a silly question, but what is everyone's battery life when playing games? I find that my battery is terrible when playing a decent amount of games, which makes sense, but from what everyone else seems to be pointing too, and hour of a game shouldn't obliterate the battery.
Anyone have any ideas?
for me it drains 3 to 4 times faster, when i am gaming compare to when i am doing more basic task. But that is expected.

I'm using SetCPU to under clock my cpu when gaming so, it doesn't drain battery as much and doesn't get as hot as usual. And strangely I don't really see performance drop in most game's at 1,5GHz, it's like they using more cpu power than they really need.

Ok thanks I've been on accu battery and it says I get 24hous sleep 5hours with light and 18hours idle I thought there was something up with my battery life so I wanted to know other people's benchmarks. 5 hours didn't seem like much to me...

Do you think, the battery life and performance have degraded after oreo update(maybe may patch)?
Coz mine has surely degraded i need to charge my phone twice a day and games like asphalt 8 is also lagging

Time to use custom roms. stock rom is trash ?
For me, latest May update increased battery life a bit. Here's pics of discharge 100%-20%. I could easily go to 7hrs or even 8hrs but I never let the phone discharge below 20%.
It all depends on usage, but in your case i think you have some wakelock in background that drain your battery, or some power hungry app. Install BBS or Gsam and check what is the cause for huge battery drain. And thing that most people forget to tell is that bad charging will ruin your battery pretty fast I personally never let it below 20% or above 80-85%. So if you let the battery discharge to 0% almost every time your battery will become bad faster. And games will drain battery very fast, you will get around 3hrs of SoT if you play games all the time.

Disagree, stock is great, I get 7 hours of SoT even if playing PUBG

I don't know man, maybe games are causing battery drain coz i play pubg twice a day .... So maybe drain is because pubg and asphalt 8 ?
And people say that charging to 100% from 0% is a good habit coz it calibrates the battery so I'm doing this for like 2-3 days discharging the phone till it gets switched off then charging to 100%

Guys, I'm in big doubt. I have an extended battery perfine of 10,000mh while I play the game performance is horrible, many crashes and freezes that irritates me a lot. When I use the regular battery I do not have any kind of problem with performance. My question is battery extended influence mobile performance? I noticed that when I zero the battery and charge again I have a good performance. My device: LGv20
