hello ...
i have i galaxy s but i was wrong flashing with galaxy tap flash file...
can any help me solve this problem .....

Can you get into download mode? If so, flash the correct files again.

cannot go into download mode ..
just black lcd now..and i test with power supply the metter it show 0.2 to 0.4

Here's a hot tip...
If your thread has "help" in the title, it almost certainly doesn't belong in development.
If your download mode is inaccessible, you may need a jig. Lots of info around here.
Why were you flashing without testing your three button download/recovery first?

First of all charge ur sgs. Then go to 3 button combo(volume down+home button+power) download mode. Then using Odin flash Darkyy 9.2 resecure resecure edition. Hope this will clear ur problem.

this phone is program chinese version but my patner wrong putting galaxy tap flash file ..now ii just hope someone can help me ...pls
i have try enter recovery mode but fail i have try take out batterry for 1 hr but fail too now jz jig no try yet
stil have any solution ??

People have made numerous suggestions. Try to get into DOWNLOAD MODE (not recovery) by removing the battery, replacing it, and pressing VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER and holding them.
If that really doesn't work after you have tried multiple times, you will need to order a Jig from Ebay.
Beyond that, the only solution for the future is STOP YOURSELF FROM DOING STUPID THINGS TO YOUR PHONE BY TAKING CARE AND LEARNING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WHATSOEVER!

yup tottally right when u don kno stuff there r 100s of topic,,and every rom here has in bold caution---download and recovery check...
anywayz **** happens try the download mode use the jig or search the youtube on how to make one or the last u can send it to sammy center...

but my patner wrong putting galaxy tap flash file ..now ii just hope someone can help me ...pls

[Q] i switched off my phone and now cannot turn it on

hello all,
i was trying to flash my phone using Odin, but i tooks too much time, i disconnected and then switched off my galaxy s2, ut now cannot turn it on.
nothing happen
tried to use combinaison of : vol up + +central button + power on , but nothing
can you please help

Try leaving the battery out for 20 mins to 2hrs. If nothing then try charging your phone whilst the phone is off to see if you get the charging animation. If still nothing then the only thing I can suggest is a jig £9.99 off of eBay, when plugged into your phone it will force it into download mode good luck bud

Why you use 512 pit files? It is for sgs1. If you want to repartition your sgs2 you have to use ext4 pit files.

Help please if you've had the same problem as me and solved it with the defy

I rooted the Defy then flashed CM7 and didn't know how to boot into recovery without CWM so I flashed an old recovery (Noob move) and sent my phone into a boot loop with the google cm7 logo and the battery died so I used the trick wire to to get power for RSD lite ... I start flashing the rom the screen says updating but when it goes to reboot it never turns back on ... can someone please help me if possible

Do a Google search for going into recovery mode for yor phone n then wipe cache n data...
Then reboot. Phone will boot

perhaps easiest is to just start from beginning flash a clean sbf - root it again and install cm7 again.
after flash of sbf you should be able to get into the recovery menu again (press power plus vol - when switching on the phone), so you can clear cache. then booting should not be a problem.

That happened to me as well I think I read in one of the forums the reason for that is because you flashed the wrong sbf. Did the same thing as you I just flashed the nordic one instead and it worked out beautifully.

Yea worked fine for me with the name change ... only thing is the battery reads as a question mark ... I have no clue why ... but I use a battery dock to charge the battery instead of the phone

Hi
I installed CM7.1 in my defy and worked good but no market applications.
To install those i did something in boot loader mode and i think i deleted something and gave reboot dats all but after that my mobile shows only google.
I can able to go in boot mode.
Follwing options in boot mode:
2nd-int
2nd-boot
normal
But in recovery mode Follwing options availiable;
Latest recovery
Stable recovery
stock recovery
reboot
i tried all
result: no such file found
When entered into stock mode
result:
the recovery gets stuck with the android man and an exclamation mark.
While i put charge it showing questionmark inside the battery logo.
But i can able to enter into boot mode.
But without put charge i cant able to power on:
Please help me out i cant use my phone.
please guys help me.

If ur batteries not dead all u have to do is get RSD lite working on your computer an flash an official SBF and it will restore your phone to stock

If ur battery is fully dead which is the reason u can not get into the bootmode (Volume up + power) then you have to create a trick wire called the macgyver which u can find the instructions to do that in the Motorola Defy Xda Wiki ... once u get that working to power up ur phone thru ur computer then u can get RSD lite working

Looks like my phone is brick ..
I tried to flash home launcher(nozomi one) but when i reboot the phone, the phone didnot respond(just vibrating, green led, no bootanimation)
Now it only shows red led light when i tried to push the power button
PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
Im in panic now !!
EDIT: NO RECOVERY EITHER !!
EDIT: I'm now charging it .. It shows greenlight ...

You just made some mistake with the firmwarem and then just gone out of battery, so just flash stock again and thats it

Recharge your battery?
Maybe you have a bad battery check serial of battery, if it starts with BD then you need to go to Samsung store if you can and get it swapped over.

There must be a reason it suddenly turned off, so checking the battery is a legitimate suggestion.
