What influx in bricked notes? I thought the USB jib fixed most problems.

I'm guessing it's the people that weren't paying attention and flashed AT&T firmwares onto their N7000.
There already is a fix, it's called a JIG, generally only mobile phone repair stores will have them, but they'll probably charge you less than $100USD to do a reflash.

Can you get into Download mode? Keep holding volume DOWN, menu and power. You should see a screen with an 'alert' symbol. As soon as you see it you need to hit volume UP.
BTW, I don't want your money. I am just trying to help.

alot of them can get into cwm and download mode, but neither are panning out
cwm wont flash properly *ics/gb kernels*
download mode fails on stock firmware flash.
i feel sorry for those that bricked and hopefully ur phones get fixed soon! wish i could offer more help. but maybe try flashing in downloadmode the absolute first gb firmware for the note maybe?

I'm putting this out for everyone to try, for what it's worth. I have attached a rar file that contains a PIT file. You need to select that PIT file with the PIT button on ODIN and flash any stock GB like normal. In download mode, of course. The re-partition button will be checked when you select the PIT file, let it stay that way. Give this a try if you could.
He said he's not personally affected, but is hoping for a solution for those that are.

try this method if you still have download mode..
download CF-ROOT ICS I9220 kernel for odin.
unzip the zip so you have a .tar file.
flash via pc odin in PDA slot.
reboot your phone to CWM *volup+home+power*
flash Franco Kernel #8
advanced menu - reboot recovery
factory reset
mount section - format /system
factory reset again.
now flash a gb rom that has a kernel included.
let me know what happens there

Yeah. It's been unsuccessfully tried already. This brick is a stubborn one. I really hope for a solution for the affected users.
One solution is to buy this http://gsmserver.com/shop/gsm/riff_box_jtag.php but that's for those who feel comfortable with a little soldering and of course shelling like 150 bucks.

I like having a Lollipop bootloader but i have a not idea wich guide i have to follow... Bumped or not?

dont think you can have lolipop bootloader if you want twrp...only kitkat

Hi all!
So, I was trying to install a new system on this phone because I hate the original. I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP, rooted the device, and then created a backup of the stock ROM via TWRP. And then tried to flash a custom ROM. My problem is that I completely forgot to create a scatter file of the phone. And the ROM didn't work and when I boot the phone, it starts a bootloop.
Can someone please give me a scatter file for the CUN-L01 (or some other that may work with this model)?
EDIT: Forgot to say that the chipset is the MT6735P, and by the way this is the european version.

Hi every body, First of all sorry me for my poor English, let me describe the problem from the first.
I wanted to flash new stoke 4 files Oreo android 8 to my phone but the Odin version was 3.12 and it couldn't able to flash and I think it just flash BL or CP to my phone and after 5 seconds it shown pass and reboot. after that my IMEI convert to null and network not detected. unfortunately I didn't backed up the EFS folder.
what I do to repair but didn't worked :
1. try flash official Roms in different versions as many as I can but it just put my phone in January security lock and I am not able to root the phone any more.
2. try to flash EFS from similar phone to mine with Z3X box but I think it make it worse because now there is a lag in sounds of the phone.
3. try to change IMEI with exposed, it change that but oh come on, it just a mask and network provider don't use that IMEI code.
4. try to flash different modems to my phone but guess what?! nothing happened.
5- try doing this post, but not work
6- try reading and searching all the web for that for 2 weeks and didn't find anything that helps me.
in my last hope I decide to post my problem here so if somebody can help me. :crying:

Hola intenta instalar la rom android 8.0 con odin 13 y funcionará, me paso lo mismo, pero fue porque use un odin que no es apto para instalar 8.0 y aparecía "pass" unos segundos después y encendía con el imei null.

Just want to put a newer rom on it. I am new to this, but is it possible to put a rom on it without using twrp. I tried using towel root v3 but ran into a connection issue. I wasn't able to put twrp on it, it was unsuccessful in odin. It is on kit kat.
Lollipop may be as high as it will go. See if you can find that. The AT&T variant may screw it up though.
I probably leave it be, KitKat's a fun OS.

Not really. Haven't explore them much. Regardless Android 9 or maybe 10 is as high as I would go as 11 and 12 are dogs.
Again I would leave that device on KitkatI have an old S4+ running on. The 4.4.4 upgrade took away the easy root option in Kitkat. bastards.
