It doesn't say out of stock, I just pulled the trigger and ordered it.
Nevermind, they said back order until next week then they will ship it next week. I'll wait for that price.

Just a little heads up that the phone is slightly curved on the outer rim around the screen so screen protector might not stick nicely around the edge due to the gap cause by the curve.

I'll be staying in Singapore for 6 months, does anyone know if I can get a good deal on this phone through a contract for 6 months (or even paying for a 1 year contract that I wont use half of)?
Would the phone then work with T-mobile when I come back?

You can go for 1 year contract with Starhub OR if u want to buy without contract go to Naranjan Mobiles at Farrer Park Road, u will find the best deal there..

Yeah, today I have used SGS3 and it was pretty cool, It wasnt as good looking as Xperias but its NOT ugly by any means..brilliant screen, smooth scrolling, no lag whatsoever..
Going to buy in couple of weeks, waiting for some price drop
I will skip Xperia this year!!!

Hi SG peeps! Just here to join the party Phones bought here in Singapore should work with any carrier in the world (of course it wont work on 4G) cus all the phones here cannot be locked to carriers according to some rules i heard awhile back. im undecided between sIII or the Nexus (yeah i know huge spec difference) but the ease of unlocking and hacking is a huge win!

How's the warranty like if I buy from Naranjan or mustafa? Do they have international warranty?

The only thing I noted is the slight yellow tint.... hmm I will need another set to compare

Bye bye my fellow wildfirers (forever)

My brother bought the nexus 7 tablet and he was only using his Xperia neo for calls and hotspot.
So I suggested to switch phones since I don't have a tablet. Surprisingly, he agreed
But there's a test period to see if he can bare the lag
So right now I own a Xperia Neo, rooted it before inserting my sim card
I will still visit the wildfire section, but not so often as before...
Thanks to every one who helped me through my first experience with android journey.

Anyone know how long after the Invite does it take to get your phone tagged for the test? I got an invite, did all the paperwork stuff and now im waiting

Donate extra play to get 4.2 and 3.4 kernel

Does anyone here have an extra play that they could lend to @mikeioannina? He us going to build 4.2 for us and 3.4 kernel but needs a play to do so. He did not ask me to make this thread I just thought there s got to be some people around here with an extra one hanging around (it didn't have to be fully working) that also want 4.2. I only have one or else I'd send mine. But I would love to see 4.2 on our plays and I'm sure many others would as well so if you have an extra please contact him about it

I have my old R800x. Its been untouched since I got my GsM model. Although I am sure hebwould want a GSM model. The bootliader was unlocked via code about two years ago.

No he's in Greece but I don't think he cares about what model it is since he's making a version for CDMA and gsm. Maybe he would be willing to pay for shipping if you sent him it? Try pming him and see what he says

We have a site in romania, with veeery cheap phones, I found one for 79 euros that is perfect. Maybe we have someone from XDA here in RO that can buy it and send it to him ?
