Reboot into Recovery fail?

Ok so I rooted and installed CMW on like the 23rd of June and it installed CMW onto my phones internal SD (I guess it didn't recognize the external SD). Apparently now there is a fix to flash CMW onto the SD card but I can't find any instructions on how to uninstall CMW from the internal SD... Do I just delete the folder and then flash CMW onto the external?
The second problem is that now that I have updated my rom manager and CMW to the latest version I can't get into recovery. It just boot loops and I have to boot into download mode and reboot from there.
Help is greatly appreciated! I want to be able to try CM10 so bad lol.

You seem a bit confused on the CWM works -- Your first problem, really isn't a problem at all. When you flash a different version of CWM, there isn't any need to delete any folder. With that said, some back-ups from one version(s) of CWM may not work with others.
If you are on T-Mo as your info says, download Terminal Emulator from the Play Store, and follow the instructions from this thread very carefully - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766552
This should fix both your problems and also install the version of CWM that is compatible with both internal and external storage.

[Q] Wanted the guides how to unbrick and flash the BCOKAS05XXXX (TF101G)

I have seen that were some restrictions (SBK1, SBK2, ...) for support to the newer devices such as unbrick tools, nvflash and ClockworkMod Recovery.
How do I flash the ClockworkMod Recovery on stock BCOKAS050XXX (TF101G)?

If you haven't already solved this,, here's how I do it (TF101G / latest stock ICS):
1. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681155 and download PERI-0.4 One click root+recovery V0.4. Install it on your PC, run the .BAT file and follow the instructions. That should give you Root and Rogue Custom recovery that allows you to flash from internal or external SD.
2. Download ClockWorkMod Recovery v6.0.1.4 NoTouch Hybrid from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1855686 - click the Download link and get the cwm-6.0.1.4-notouch-hybrid.zip file (apparently the Touch version is currently broken). Copy to internal or external SD, reboot to recovery (Power+Vol-down for 12 secs, then Vol-up), wipe caches and flash CWM Recovery.
Hope that works for you.

How to switch from TWRP to CWM

I'm currently trying out TWRP 2.4.1.0 from the development section running internally. Should I decide to return to CWM, what is the best method for doing so?
Download the IMG file, put it in your platform-tools folder and put tab in bootloader. Check for connection by typing 'adb devices', then fastboot flash recovery *name of recovery*
From my Evo LTE, yup.
I'd hate to hear the hard way :silly:
Does that mean there isn't a flashable zip that can be loaded via a bootable CWM SD card?

There is one in my Nook Color Tips thread. Just flash it with anything, even your existing TWRP, and it will put CWM back on internal.
Edit: if you have a newer TWRP, it may refuse to flash my zip because the new TWRP does not like one of the components on my old zips. It gives an error 02. Just use my bootable CWM to do it.

Returning to stock recovery

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking to return to the stock MDJ recovery using the stock TAR packages here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2269304 (can't believe GooManager will overwrite an existing recovery partition without taking a backup).
I've read that I can extract the recovery.img from the TAR package and individually flash that via ODIN. Is this true? If so, I would flash the file as "PDA", right? Will there be any data loss as a result of this process (internal SD and apps)?
Thanks.
Does anyone have any ideas?

This is the clockworkmod recovery ported from nexus 5. I haven't tested everything yet but things do seem to work. It uses the stock kernel.
Instructions to flash:
(Make sure you are rooted prior to this.)
1. Install Recovery Tools from above link.
2. You will get a prompt to backup your stock recovery. DO IT.
3. Download recovery file from here and copy it to your phone.
4.Select 'Flash Recovery' option.
5. Select 'from storage' and select it from your phone.
6. flash it.
You're done!
