It's on Amazon app store... but doesn't seem to show up in the google Market, yet.
Now with on-line multiplayer. I need more competition!

The Amazon Appstore developers pay no fee for the first year, and have no restrictions regarding their locations (as the Android Market imposes). So, I can easily imagine that many people will want to have their apps listed there. I guess you can check today, how many apps are there that you can find on the Android Market but are not on the Amazon Appstore. Actually, I know of several examples of the opposite.
I know quite a few apps I use regularly that are not available in Amazon Appstore, Dolphin HD comes to mind immediately.

Yeah, that's the downside to having such a customized version of the OS - it's not receiving official Google certification.
The Amazon app store is growing, and if the Kindle Fire sells well enough, which it should, more developers will be inclined to submit their apps.
I just hope amazon improves the app store experience, it's still miles behind Googe's, which isn't so great itself.
I recall reading something a while back that if one uninstalls the Amazon Apps Store from your device, the apps you downloaded from Amazon Apps Store cease to function until you reinstall the Amazon App Store applet.
Urban legend? Sounds a bit hinky but disturbing if true.
I use the amazon app store on my HTC desire.
I'll uninstall and let you know tomorrow what happens with all the apps from Amazon APp Store.
But regardless, I would still keep the Amazon App Store because it gives you one free app every day.

Completely true. I discovered it by accident when I deleted the App Store app, then tried to play my 'free app of the day' copy of Angry Birds Rio a few days later. No dice! Worked fine again once I reinstalled Amazon App Store, however.
Can also confirm: any amazon app store apps must have the amazon app store present on the device to work. Kind of a pain in the butt to be honest but hey, it's their store they can impose those restrictions.
When submitting app to Amazon Appstore you can choose to use DRM they provide - that might be the reason for this requirement. Apps that don't use DRM will probably work without the Amazon Appstore on device. (but I might be wrong)
Reacently I Downloaded The Pstore Off of XDA,
After installing this I open It (i live in the UK) put my country language etc.
then it randomly says its not avalible in your country wth.
After Fiddling with it, it decided to let me in, seing a broad range of games to buy sign in and download a free game (was a offer) signed in and went to downloads section, me having a PS3 I thought I could download my Pre-Purchased Games.
I was wrong, Sony have ripped us off they wont let you download a game thats on your PS3 and wont give you a converted version wtf. incase you were wondering It was Spyro.
If You think of buying a game on your sony device from Ps store On a console and want it more on a Xperia play/tablet s/p Buy it from there not the console market becasue of the conversion at the whole market layout.

It says playstation store not playstation network, all the information is in the EULA you agreed to. The EULA states that any game purchased from the PS store can be used on up to two mobile devices.

Are you referring to PS3 PS store or Xperia Play PS store?
No im not on my Play Now but There Is Spyro etc........ I went and signed in and says there is spyro for prurchase if this gave you some info click the like button.
I see people posting about a free game in the store, but I can`t find a free game (UK account), only 11 purchase options at £3.99 each, and apart from driver they are not really big titles.
games on the PS3 PlayStation store are different from the games that show up on the Android PlayStation store
New Kindle FIRE HD7 is for my son but figured I'd share in case anyone wasn't already aware, worth checking out.

Google Play vs Amazon Appstore
Thank you for the information, we will pass it on to our Kindle customers.
It would be an interesting A>B to see how Amazon App Store competes with Google Play. Is Amazon trying to be a little more competitive?
This would be nice since Amazon truly has a great product.
no longer
This deal was supposed to go till the 31st. I just checked and the apps are back up to full price. However Let's Break Stuff (game) is free today.

bbanghyung,
Bummer. Maybe Google Play Store offers more for free? I have this installed
on our Kindle and find Google Play to be very aggressive. Lot's of free
games.
Yeah, I'm loving google play.

I rooted my phone all was well. I had to do a recovery after installing chain3d which bricked it, it seems after that recovery a bunch of games are incompatible for me in the appstore - games I've paid for!
Sonic 2, the other new sonic up and down jumper - both show incompatible for my device now. As does Dead Trigger and the new Shadowgun multiplayer game, the cod zombie game I paid for, muse that I paid for....wtf is going on?
Can anyone help?

Is this for the Play Store only that you're having this issue or with other App stores as well like Amazon? Temporary fix would be to just side load any of those apps if you've backed them up unless you mean they actually fail to install.

They install and run, but they wont install from google play. Games I've paid for I have to torrent and install in order to get them running. It's just annoying. Like for instance the new citadel epic demo, my device says it's incompatible ....so I have to find it somewhere and install it away from google play.
Just wish I knew what was up. Would like to fix this.

Go into settings and clear out all the data from your Google play store app and reboot your phone. Otherwise if that dont work a factory data reset will clear it up.
I was wondering if there were any other app stores that peoples used or trusted. by trusted I don't mean money but for that app store to have a lot of apps that don't do what they say.
I know of Slideme, and Aptoide but not many others.
