Reacently I Downloaded The Pstore Off of XDA,
After installing this I open It (i live in the UK) put my country language etc.
then it randomly says its not avalible in your country wth.
After Fiddling with it, it decided to let me in, seing a broad range of games to buy sign in and download a free game (was a offer) signed in and went to downloads section, me having a PS3 I thought I could download my Pre-Purchased Games.
I was wrong, Sony have ripped us off they wont let you download a game thats on your PS3 and wont give you a converted version wtf. incase you were wondering It was Spyro.
If You think of buying a game on your sony device from Ps store On a console and want it more on a Xperia play/tablet s/p Buy it from there not the console market becasue of the conversion at the whole market layout.

It says playstation store not playstation network, all the information is in the EULA you agreed to. The EULA states that any game purchased from the PS store can be used on up to two mobile devices.

Are you referring to PS3 PS store or Xperia Play PS store?
No im not on my Play Now but There Is Spyro etc........ I went and signed in and says there is spyro for prurchase if this gave you some info click the like button.
I see people posting about a free game in the store, but I can`t find a free game (UK account), only 11 purchase options at £3.99 each, and apart from driver they are not really big titles.
games on the PS3 PlayStation store are different from the games that show up on the Android PlayStation store

hi everyone.has anyone had any problems with support from gameloft.cos i have.and i have sent them many emails and no reply.its a simple request i just want to re download a game i allready paid for.i downloaded about 8 games and when i go to my account on gameloft it shows that i havnt downloaded any games at all.i have emailed them and emailed them and still no reply.i guess when you buy a game from gameloft and your phone crashes you have to pay for it again.to me that sounds like a skam.
I bought a couple games from them over the weekend. They responded within 24 hours of me emailing them with an issue (granted, not the same issue as yours). Also, I waited to speak with a live person and they were actually pretty helpful. This could just be a fluke, but I'm happy!
oddbert:
First: you might have checked your account via your wifi connection and not your wap connection or vice/versa your download history might be still there
Second: please make a topic more clear it might help more people in the future.
Third: Gameloft did a system support that actually is great but it might need some time to get a reply. Ask via the support on their site next time.
they are having a $2.99 sale. I'm getting all of them LOL
Edit: That is f'ed up. as soon as i logged in the prices are now $5
I absolutely HATE the gameloft purchasing system. It's terrible. If they want to sell their own games, they should make their own appstore for them and make it easier on all of us. Their wap based purchasing system is terrible. Even their account management system is very bad. I've had nothing but bad experiences with it.

I love Gamelofts purchasing system. Far superior than Android marketplace.
Gameloft allow me to add purchase prices to my phone bill. I can't purchase anything from marketplace since I don't own a credit or debit card

Used PayPal as well here and never get a reply from them when contacting support due to game issues. 3 weeks and no reply. Gameloft SUCK!
It sucks that I bought Sacred Odyssey and can't play it. Still no fix for 2.3.3.
A lot of their games are rather superficial in content as well.
They look great when still, but their animations are suspect. As is their storytelling. Bugs are always prevelant in Gameloft games. Gameplay isn't always intuitive or even fun. Their DRM is a kick in the teeth as well...though it is improving. Any company that makes it harder for legitimate users is at fault in my eyes.
The only game that I think is really, really up there with the best is Asphalt 6, but that is only because I love Burnout, and it is pretty hard to mess up a racing game.
I suppose for the price of them we can't complain, but it would be nice to see some genuine developers coming to the Play, though I doubt that will ever happen.
If the PSX emulator improves dramatically or the Sony PSX gets opened up like it was on the PSP, then all these worries will dissapear.
In the meantime, will have to put up with the thousands of top quality titles on all the other emulators!

for me it was a 1 800 number which is toll free.
the first time you go to customer care it only gives you an email.
Click your country, select a continent, then select your country name and go to customer care.
Let me know if that works for you.

Just get a postal address for UK.

Did you follow my steps?
You have to do it from the phone.
First launch the Playstation app.
go to more games.
Select a Gameloft game. It brings you to the Gameloft mobile page.
Select "More Games" from that page.
Scroll all the way down to "Your Country: international".
Select it and select "Europe"
Select "United Kingdom" (it brings you back to the list of games from Gameloft"
scroll down and select "Customer Care"
You should be on a page with a few paragraphs.

this is awesome!
Xperia Play users should contact them to gain support for this device as it already has MSM8255 chipset (same as many devices already supported) and it has awesome gaming controls inbuilt!!
After seeing this post I went straight to the market and downloaded the onlive app. I managed to load up Batman Arkham City but couldn't get any further than the start of the game as you have to "right-click" to counter attack.
I've emailed OnLive asking if they can add support for the Xperia Play gamepad. If everyone does the same then they might add Xperia Play controls in the future.
could someone upload market link because i can't find it in the market. Europe version.
I emailed them too.
Also if you are going to email them dont demand they they add xperia play support just request it, thats what I did.
I just messaged them using www[dot]onlive[dot]com[slash]corporate[slash]contact
Unless there is a direct email we can use, we should start showing our interest in Xperia Play controls by contacting them via this!
can some one please upload apk i can't download it from market it isn't avaible in europe.
For me it's running wifi-only (Verizon's 3G isn't enough to complete their network test) and works well with on-screen buttons... If they would just enable key-mapping it would be all good...

I haven't had a chance to try it myself, but there is an app called game keyboard that let's you remap keys to the xperia play buttons (in addition to its onscreen keyboard). In addition there is button remapper which lets you remap the O button to something other than the back button key since that one often interferes. Might be worth a shot to try.

I was VERY upset when I found that out... OnLive literally takes down my cable, internet and phone after playing for a bit using Wifi on any device, plus, my school permanently blocked their servers when students started using it (GaiKai still works thankfully).
I'm hoping OnLive Inc. will work on Verizon 3G optimization, but in the meantime, I'll be looking around on how to keep OnLive from taking down my entire network.
EDIT: Okay, so OnLive and an Xbox 360 both can't be online at once apparently... Lame. I would love to have Verizon 3G going on this. YouTube (HQ) and the browser seem just fine on 3G. But I also live in a village in the middle of a cornfield so that might also be the problem.
The smartphone universe has reached the max level.
Although this seems to be the best news for XPlay, I must also say that from this point on, the tablets can surpass laptops.
Awesome stuff
When i try to launch a game it just says "Your device doesn't support games bla bla bla"

So for a long time the PS Store (if you have it, and it works) has been empty. Well I bought a Sony Tablet S back in December and jumped on the 5 free games from the PS Store at the time. So those 5 games are on my PSN account.
Well this weekend I gave up on R800x UK ROM and flashed Verizons 2.3.4.
Directly afterwards with fastboot, I booted the recoveryplay.img and ran the FreeXperia.zip, then I ran this PS Store.zip. (I do not know if you only need the PS Store APK or if you need to run this .zip file from CWM, but I ran the .zip)
Afterwards I opened the Let's Start PS Store app and downloaded the APK from the website it takes you to. Once downloaded and installed I logged in with my same account from my tablet and while the store front is indeed blank and empty when I clicked on Download List all of my previously downloaded games from my Tablet S were there!
I downloaded them all and they all work. Button controls work also. They also show up in the game launcher.
Other notes: I do have a Japanese and UK PSN. I logged into those also; I was able to download Kula World from the UK PS Store (it is the only UK game on my account that I have downloaded onto my tablet).
I also have downloaded flOw, Piyotama, Ape Escape and some other game on my Japanese PSN PS Store account but they are not available at all on the JPSN PS Store on my Xperia Play.
Can you do a video?

Agreed, it's a lot of hoops to jump through to get some overpriced 15 year old games legitimately.
I'd like to add, the Tablet S is awesome. Dual Shock 3 support wired/bluetooth makes it the best for playing games.... no offense Xperia Play. :highfive:
I didn't see this posted anywhere, apologies if I am late, but they have announced a date for PS Mobile.
"PlayStation Mobile users, you may have just felt a brief phantom tug at your wallet. That's because Sony just announced the PlayStation Store for PlayStation Mobile is coming on October 3.
The first countries allowed to access PlayStation Mobile content through the PlayStation Store are Japan, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia. At launch on October 3, there will be 30 games available for download."
http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/19/playstation-store-for-ps-mobile-opens-its-virtual-doors-on-oct/
I've asked this before, but I will ask again. I have a PLAY from Verizon running 2.3.4 and the PS Store app already downloaded (although no access to any games yet here in the US). Does this announcement mean it'll populate my store with games? The reason I ask is because here in the US, we've been kinda screwed. No PSOne games, and 2.3.4 crippled my Gtalk and Play Music. If this update means I can FINALLY download some new games, I'd be a little more happy.
I hope so, if they at least open the market to the u.s. and give us the same game library as other countries that'd be awesome.

Are there any details about these new titles?
I'm thinking it's going to be another app/store to download. This just sounds like something they would do.
I read around Gamescom that Sony announced that they will remove PSOne Classics from the Android PS Store once PS Mobile launches. This also applies to their existing PlayStation Certified devices like the Xperia Play, Xperia S, and their tablets. I find this to be a really dumb move, but maybe they just didn't want to put forth the effort of re-licensing everything for Android or figuring out how to segregate the Vita's store from PS Certified devices. Either way, it looks like the only games that you'll be able to run are the ones that have been available through the Google Play Store.
Really?! good idea, i wanne more ps games
About your situation, well, I think you can find other way to download or install games.
It's live! Has anyone given it a try yet? I kept getting an error when I tried to login until I rebooted the phone.

Do you know if he tried rebooting after installing it? That seems to have done the trick for me. Although my Play isn't the AT&T version, it's an unlocked R800a that I'm using on AT&T.
I've used it on my Xperia Tablet S (the new one so it's the fully official app/store and everything lol - just to clarify )
TBH.... IMO..... It's not all that... I haven't tried it on my play yet but if the content is anything the same as what i can get on my tablet... then I wont be jumping for joy any time soon
The UI is nicer though... A lot nicer I'm just hoping that better games are on the way :highfive:

QFT. The Xperia Play could have really been something, but it was so poorly supported that it never went anywhere. And because it didn't do well, we probably won't see a proper successor. That's the part that really kills me. I can only hope that I'm wrong because I would love a Xperia Play 2 with specs like the upcoming Xperia T/TL and a gamepad. Until then, I'm just biding my time because nothing else really interests me.

I just got a Z2, and found out about this: http ://blogs.sonymobile.com/2014/05/01/entertainment-and-app-experiences-all-free-with-xperia-z2/
At Sony, we want to bring our customers the world’s best content direct to their mobile. That’s why Xperia Z2 comes right out of the box with a unique experience pack of 6 free movies, including Captain Phillips, 30-day trial of the Music Unlimited service, 8 games from PlayStation®Mobile and a free download of the upcoming Michael Jackson album, XSCAPE.

Apparently we can get a bunch of free stuff. What I'm curious about are the 8 games from PlayStation®Mobile. I "redeemed" them, but nothing shows up on my phone when I go to the Playstation mobile app (but the games are listed under my account when I log onto the Playstation Entertainment Network.
Are these games suppose to be for the phone? If so, has anyone successfully got this to work?
Thanks!

Use the Xperia Lounge app (not sure if you have to download that from app store). Then look for the various featured apps, which should ask you to create a Playstation Entertainment Network account (if you don't already have one), but it will provide you a code to redeem the various games, movies, apps, etc).
It took me a while to figure this out too. You need to download the Playstation Mobile app at http://www.playstation.com/psm/store/en.html (I know you already have this. I'm just helping others who might be confused.) and download the games through that app. I was trying to download the games through the Playstation app that came with the phone.
I assume this doesn't work if drm keys are lost
