Well as he said it should be that way. Other phone do flash there kernel in CWM or should I say it is included in the ROM package, only that in the other phones is they have to change baseband in x8 case we only have 2 and mostly on base xxx15.

Yes, very true, other phones do it, and to make life easier include the rom in the package. It would take longer to flash the rom with the kernel package with it, but it would be worth it!

Really? Flashtool (v0.6.7.0) works a whole lot smoother in Linux than on Windows (no need for stupid driver installs).
You did the "50-android-rules" thing as laid out by eagleeyetom in his guide?

Ok i found the problem, i made the script to just copy over the files but have now edited it to delete the old app and lib first.
I have tested 4 times and all working aok..
You may need to install the original GB Music.apkV2.zip first as this deletes the associated lib then reboot, then install the new music.apk from honeycomb.
Everyone else should not have a problem.. This directly relates to Michelle..
Enjoy! And hit that thanks button!! lol.
Thanks for this. I'll give it a go soon.

It's been a fun ride but it's time to put this ROM to rest. R.I.P. CCM7 Eris!
This ROM is built from source with a few changes made by myself. Try it out if you'd like and let me know what you think
What works:
Everything!
What doesn't work:
Maps is touch and go with recent updates. If you have Nav or maps issues uninstall updates through market to restore back to the 5.2 version that's in the ROM
credits:
tazzpatriot for getting me started with everything
cyanogenmod for the source
TeamADX for their work and development
workshed for his help and advice along my journey
conap for all his help and advice along the way as well
macrodroid for finding me the info for getting the boot audio to work on CM
SOURCE - https://github.com/CyanogenMod
KERNEL - https://github.com/Conap30/htc_kernel_desirec_cfs
Wiping is up to you.... If you only wipe data and have issues do a full wipe and reflash.

Hey guys I got a tweak from wolfs Rom working on my x10 that increases the signal greatly. Watch the how to video here. Works in all roms. (if you have Wolfs Rom this isnt necessary. He already has it)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jy0r-o1Bh9Q&feature=youtube_gdata_player
I now have over a 10000 kbps connection just like his in the video. Pretty cool.
First step unzip the file in your sd card then open the file via root explorer
Next go into system/etc/init.d and copy the modules script using root explorer.
Next go to your system on the actual phone (not the sd card) then go.to etc then find the folder called init.d. (if you dont have it flash this via recovery) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1236446
Then place modules in the init folder.
Next go back to your sd card where the 4.0.4 thing is and go into system*etc and copy the entire. Install sh recovery folder then go back to the actual phone and go to.system/etc and just paste it there and select yes if it asks u to overwrite something.
Finally find the install recovery thing
you just copied and click it once and press execute.
Then your done.
How to test if it worked. Before u do the tweak download speed test from the market and test your current wifi speed. After tweak test it again. Note it may require a reboot.
Get it here. http://www.datafilehost.com/get.php?file=a18d42a6

you do realize that overwriting install-recovery.sh will overwrite any other init.d scripts the person might have and also any tweaks put in there by the dev (if you are using it on any other rom than wolfbreaks)?
You shouldn't be advising people to do stuff like this without at least warning them about what they're doing.

And u all comment on their page or my post as a request!!
And request them if possible in other ways...

Well, you should know that FXP is working hard on porting CWM already, with this you ignore all FXP's work.
All Xperia devices will eventually get ROM manager official support.
But you have to be patient.
And X10 won't get flash recovery support never anyways. Neither will any Xperia device because:
1) it's built in ramdisk
2) you can't flash boot partition on phone directly
