[APP/MOD] Honeycomb MUSIC.apk (with Wifi Sync)

Hi all,
I just tested and made a flashable.zip with the new Music.apk from Honeycomb
You can find this .zip in the Oxygen FAQ thread under Add-ons..
Only tested on Oxygen, but may work on other roms as the needed libs etc are all their..

I haven't seen ANY lag but i only have like 20 or so tunes on my phone atm :/

Hmmm was hoping that this was a new version, but its the test/debug that has been around for months... :/

I'll test it tomorrow, I'm in pub now:-D I have about 3 GB of music, so I'm curious what will happened when I synchronize it

Ok i found the problem, i made the script to just copy over the files but have now edited it to delete the old app and lib first.
I have tested 4 times and all working aok..
You may need to install the original GB Music.apkV2.zip first as this deletes the associated lib then reboot, then install the new music.apk from honeycomb.
Everyone else should not have a problem.. This directly relates to Michelle..

Anyone tried this on a sense rom? Im guessing it might only work on AOSP roms!

works very good on oxygen 2.0.1. But I expected i nicer widget and again this simple grey widget.

+1 It works in CM7 RC2 but what exactly does the Jumpertest do? can it stream to other Android devices? or stream to PCs?

Ah I see. You can flash an insecure kernel from the dev section then use something like S2 root or Superoneclick to root again.

First step would be to confirm Rom Manager works with SGS2 .
Second step would be to read the post you rooted from the bit where it says Rom Manager does not work .

Im pretty sure sgs2 isnt compatible. Sgs2 should use cwm app.

Wow, attitude much? These people replied trying to help you correct your mistake. Be grateful.
As for the second picture, all it shows is that you still had a stock kernal installed. Read the instructions properly next time.

Why are you using Rom Manager instead of the CWM app that comes with the recovery. I would do a little research before flashing anything with Rom manager.

Alright people, I installed Lite'ning about a week or two ago, which gave me root.
And now, I flashed back to stock.
And since it says [email protected], I thought I still had root

The best bit of advice you can take from this thread is this: dont use rom manager with the sgs2, tbh it seems to cause more problems that it solves.
Its not fully compatible.
Rather Use the cwm app that installs with chainfires cfroot kernel.

i respect the users work here, not everyone have the knowledge as some dev's here - but a theme isnt a real improvement... so i think.

Open titanium backup.
Backup current market.
Uninstall current market.
Reboot and install the new one.
Yes there is changes 1, after installed and opened the market. It will ask you to allow the app with your Google account. Twice,
Also the apps that we got will tell us that ICS will be more secure just saying

the new market is fantastic! I was still on the previous version, the one without the blocky design. I have to admit it was way faster, though

So before I push,i copy the vending.apk and marketupdater.apk
Then I use back old vending.apk push back and install
okay no problem
Then I install market 3.1.5 version
And keep pop out market.process force close
How to do ?
it act as normal application
Not system application
Once uninstall = gone
is it the only solution is reflash whole rom ?

You should have backed up market. Then uninstall, reboot phone, use file expert or whatever root access file manager you have and move the new vending.apk to system/app. Once in system/app change the permissions to what's in the screen shot in fist post. Then again reboot phone and then open market.

Only thing I have noticed and if someone else could check is that when I click on the option to send the delevoper an email it fc. Tried on different apps to make sure it wasnt to a specific app.

Took ivans device tree use pacman github and compile..is way easier at least from what your trying to do...anyhow as you can see you have problem with baseband..and as i see on gtalk (sorry i was sleeping) maybe ivans block/locked baseband files just like he lock sound when changing build.prop values...i ask him way back but he didnt answer...so you have to do a jar file search to find whats blocking your baseband to work!!!

Yep its on framework.jar but i cant find out phonefactory.smali i have to look for other smali files now. Its getting way more complicated.

Can anyone tell me how to take logcat in 4.2.2 all roms? ADB doesnt recognise phone. USB debugging on wtf is the problem? If i can take logcat these issues will be long solved. Am using the 27th March DA_Nya

Thats the same problem am facing. Is adb on kernel? I dont think so there is some files blocking it on rom.

Yeah there's that exact problem on my ROM too so it is not only on yours. For the past few weeks I have been making some notes about where serious files like these are located so I can remember them. Right now I can't access my PC for some personal problems but I will be able to do it this weekend. I think I have it stored there so I can tell you when I access my PC.

Thats nice. In my friends HTC one x there was once this issue too i remember but it was quite simple. There was this script on init.d that was stopping it. But here in this case i have a bad feeling Ivan blocked it somewhere. I really dont know why ivan doesnt want people to make new roms for U+ its like he deleberately stops these like the Network issue. This is bad.
