Before I start I will say that I have tried deleting data and cache for the app and uninstalling then reinstalling the app with no change.
When using XDA on the kf running the 2-19 build I cannot see enter any threads while logged into my account. If I login whenever I choose a thread I receive the message "unfortunately, xda has stopped. " and I must press report or ok. I have reported the issue to the market, but am hoping to find a work around. If I do not login I can go into any thread I want with no issues, but I can't comment or do anything worthwhile without logging in.
I am hoping I just need to change my build prop or something, then but any ideas would be great.

I realize this, but there has been a workaround for a long time: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436486&highlight=imei
It has to do with the IMEI so you can create a fake/test IMEI to make the standard xda app work. This worked great on every rom before ICS. Now on ICS the app works fine as long as I am not logged in, but when I log in it crashes. I have tried running the IMEI fix again to no avail.

Since I purchased the phone layar has not worked. Each time I go to run it at the bottom it says updating featured.....it just sits there. Anyone else seeing this issue?

Haven't had the problem myself. Assuming you've already power cycled, try clearing the application data (settings> manage applications> layer> clear data.) Then force stop.
If it doesn't show up in the list goto menu> filter> all.
If it still isn't working and you care enough to trouble shoot further, you can try a master reset or take out back to the store, though the above should fix it...

I've had this happen once or twice. I just blame the GPS and try again later.
Install GPS Status or GPS Test (I prefer the former) and check how many sats you have locked in.
ok so I've been using cyanogen 6 stacker final build for a while now, and ever since I started the messaging app gives me problems.
Every time I open it up it does a force close. It used to only force close when I only tried to text one person in particular, but now its every time I try to open it.
I've moved on to handscent for all my messaging needs since as that makes it work no problem but I don't get picture messages and when I get a message, it'll still pop up with the force close message sometimes fir the stock messaging app.
I thought there was a problem with the install so today I just went and did a full data wipe and wiped all cache, then loaded a fresh copy of cm6 stable build. Got the phone back to normal with my settings and apps and the messaging app still force closes. Anyone have any ideas what is going on here. Its getting to be a huge pain and while handscent works and is better, the constant force closes is getting beyond annoying.

did you redownload the rom or use the same one as before
Since this obviously isn't a wide problem my guess would be something on your end.
Completely wipe everything and start fresh..Don't add anything once you get the ROM loaded. Start text messaging and see if it works. If it does then it has to be either a program you're adding or some data you're restoring.
Then start adding your stuff one by one and check the messaging app..Thats what I would do.
Yes I redownloaded the app and a wiped everything. Fresh install also. How do I prevent the market from redownloading all my apps once I open it for the first time?
I'll def try the adding one app at a time thing

Ok so I tried to do this and there are two options. One is backup data and that is now unchecked. The other is restore data. That one is greyed out. So if I try a new restore it just puts all the apps and settings back. How do I get it so I can unchecked restore data?
Also when I do a data wipe in among_RA how long should that take? Seems to be going very quick, like 5 seconds tops. Is this normal? For some reason I feel as if my problem is that something is not wiping when I do the wipe in recovery.
Any thoughts?

Ok go the data restore backup crap disabled. Updated to the lastest amon_RA version 1.8
Went into recovery and wiped everything and reinstalled the stable cm6 rom.
So far so good, but I go to the messaging app and same ****. I get force closes with one specific contact, once that happens it just starts its random force closes no matter what contact.
So what could this be? Is something not wiping correctly? Please anyone have any suggestions or help?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
So again to note, I'm still having the force closes on a fresh install of cm6 no other apps installed from market. Nothing.

I'm the mean time, I went back to fresh rom 3.2 just to stop all the force closes in the messaging app. I really hate sense and its bloated self. There must be a solution.....
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Well I fixed it on my own. Was using fresh rom and stated to get some what similar problems with the one contact as before. So I un linked the contact from facebook, and completely deleted the contact all together. Then I made a new google contact and put in the mobile number and saved it. This time I did not link it to the facebook profile. Low and behold I have cm6 another shot this morning with a fresh wipe and install and all is well and working (so far) with no force closes.

Anyone else having issues with the market right now? When I try to download or update an app the download will appear to start and immediately stop. No errors reported. I have tried clearing market data even restored a nandroid backup from yesterday that was known to be good. Still the same problems.

I also uninstalled several app thinking maybe I was low on storage. Didn't help.

I was just about to download and install another rom because I've been having the same problem since yesterday... But guess im not the only one..
I haven't been able to download pocket legends or angry birds. There are some apps that work, so i'm not sure exactly what the problem is.
I just started having those issues

I thought it may be ROM issue, but I guess not.
I am having similar issues as the OP.
I wiped the cache and data for the market and did a reboot, was about to nandroid my backup from yesterday, even tried it through appbrain...nothing is working.
the apps i am trying to update is green power premium and yelp.
I can't get anything to download now. It was working fine 3 hours ago.

Same issue for the last few hours. Also, facebook won't load the feed.

same here starts to update then quits.
I'm happy it's not just me!
The market app was running fine this afternoon but tonight it stopped working. Apps will show as Downloading and the download icon will momentarily show up in the notification bar (for less than a second). After the icon disappears, the status changes to Download Unsuccessful.
This is happening on every app (new installs and updates). I cleared the data and cache of the Market app and rebooted a few times but I get the same result. I assume this has to be a Market issue...
Same issue here.

Does anyone know if there is some sort of "Android Market Status' page provide by google to see when it's up/down etc..?
Similar to:
http://www.google.com/appsstatus#hl=en
?? I spent over an hour trying to debug my phone before I thought to try and see if other XDA users had the problem..
I'm having the same problem.

Same thing here. It starts to download but immediately stops & disappears from the upper task bar. I was just about to wipe my phone but decided to search the forums... good thing you started this thread OP. Looks like the market is down.
Same thing here the app starts to download and then immediately stops with no errors

The market servers are located in south Korea. If you don't know whats happening down there, you don't deserve a working market...
Ive just noticed that when i go into my apps in the new market after upgrading my phone to JPX it is only showing me 2 paid apps and none of the free ones that i have downloaded... which is a lot...
Is there a way of getting these back and also what happens when there is updates available? will i be notified of these or not?
I find a specific app in the markdet that i have installed it shows as installed, its just when i go into the my apps part.
Thanks for any help given.
go to settings, applications, manage applications, select the market app, clear data, clear cache.
Now it wont even open my apparently =\.
It say server error retry later...

There is a thread with the same stuff just only a few lines downwards and the answer / solution to your problem:

The server error thing has nothing to do with the firmware, it's an issue with the market server. Started to happen last night.
So is everyone else having this problem? Tried everything recommended but its still the same

I have 3.2.1 rooted (a500 btw) and I just realized that ever since getting it, my email app (stock) no longer notifies me of new emails. The settings are all set up properly and the app itself otherwise works perfectly fine... but it just doesnt show notices on my homescreen when I get new email.
Also, as it would probably come up as a possible solution, my wifi is set to NEVER turn off.
So, is this just me or a glitch?
If its me, then any ideas for fixing it?

Try uninstalling the email app and reinstalling which should reinstall everything in the right place and fix this I am curious how you rooted your Acer because I have searched these forums for weeks and cannot find a working download for the rooting files
gingerbreak doesn't work on 3.2
And timmydeans downloads all fail at 230 MB
Everyone seems to still be posting links that are affiliated with megaupload!!
I'll keep trying to fix your email problem
But without rooting my Acer I doubt I'll be able to reproduce the fault
I have no idea what happened, but after having this issue for several months, the problem suddenly corrected itself a few days ago.
All I did was add the email widget to my homescreen, which prompted me to set up my email account info again (for some reason). After that, voila! Notifications again!
Maybe I just had to clear cache and data, which I probably should've tried before posting here... I forgot to try that first though. Sorry.
As for rooting 3.2.1:
