I recently acquired an AT&T Tilt for myself and an 8525 (HERM100) for my wife. Since getting the 8525 there were issues with the battery being depleted quicker than one would generally expect - the battery going from 100% to 0% in less than 3 hours with most of the time spent in an idle state.
I figured it might be a software issue and decided to look for a ROM that is reasonably power efficient. Using the WM6.1 BENCHMARKS thread I decided on loading PDACornerPro V27 RBSN 3G. Additionally I disabled 3G connectivity as we don't have data plans for the devices and have no need to run the more power hungry radios. I also diabled all the device's data connections using Modaco NoData so nothing would be triggered inadvertanly. I also ran the Battlog utility to get a record of general power consumption; idling w/ the screen dimmed/off at about 30ma, while running application it would top out at about 170ma. I was satisfied with this improvement as with 'normal' usage the phone could easily last the majority of the day without needing a charge (which was the goal), so I gave the device back to my wife to use again. The device was left idle for the remainder of the night, by morning it was dead. I checked the battlog utility's log and found that shortly after leaving the device to idle for the night it's power consumption jumped up to around 470ma, depleting the battery very quickly.
I verified that 3G was still off and that there were no unnecessary processes or applicaitons running in the background. No matter what I did the power consumption remained around 360 - 470ma. I finally decided to give it a rest and I pulled the battery from the 8525 and left it alone for about an hour (gave me some time to relax from the fustration). When I returned I reinstalled the battery and powered up the device, I checked Comm Manager and found 3G on again; I turned it off and I checked the Battlog utility and found that the power usage levels returned to the aformentioned 30 - 170ma. The following day this happened again - same jump in to the 400+ma range and after having the battery out for ~20 minutes power usage returned to normal; the only difference this time was that 3G had not inadvertanly been reinabled.
Any ideas on what would trigger the dramitic increase in power usage (an how one might prevent it) and why letting the phone sit in a powerless state for ~20 minutes would correct it?
Recap of the device:
ATT 8525 (HERM100)
ROM: PDACornerPro V27 RBSN 3G
Radio: 1.54.07.00 (Stock)
SPL: Olipro 2.30
Battery: HERM160 (3.7VDC, 1300mAh) & HERM161 (3.7VDC, 1350mAh) *tested with both batteries, same results.
Thanks for any insight you can provide. Attached is a zip with Battlog's log file of the first occurence of this problem in text format as well as in an xls file.
Ideas from a non expert
Well, i did experience something similliar with a touch pro. Suddenly battery consumption increases like hell. I believe it happens, when changing cells of your provider. E.g. the device switches between GPRS and 3G back and force, because you are just in between. So, maybe this activates the SIM card - which would consume more power - I guess. I am not an expert for this. But I could observe sudden massive power drains when moving in a train or even in my flat, where one side is more GPRS and the other more 3G. You can watch e.g. by using http://www.commmgrpro.com/. There is a "save battery" mode. Ok. But this are just my non techie thoughts. Pls. post, if you got a solution.
Hey I have exactly the same problem as you do. I just recently bought this phone on ebay, and I charged it full and left it idle for 2 days. I come back and the battery is completely drained. Also, the 3g icon keeps showing up. All I hope for is that this isnt a hardware problem.
Same for me battery drains far too quick, maybe the batteries are slowly dieing, i have seen the other more powerful batteries what last a lot longer, i think my option is to ebay for a battery of twice the power. There is just so much going on with all the tech on the pda's i suppose these batteries just can't hack it. Like i say short life length on them.
I've scanned through, but can't find an answer to this.
Is there an app that will let me see what has been using the battery on my HD2?
I mean, if I leave it overnight, a program that I can open in the morning, and see what has caused the battery to lose %? rather than something that tells me what the current usage is at a particular timne.
I'm interested in this too... I'm getting about 13% battery loss overnight, with NOTHING updating, 'my location' off, no programs running in task manager etc. As soon as I actually start using the phone, this drops a lot faster. I struggle to get 24 hours out of it, with light usage
...I forgot to say, that is with WMLongLife and Touch X Power Management on, too.
It's a problem with the battery meter.
For me it's like with average daily use :
100% -> 50% in 12 hours
50% ->5% in more than 24 hours.
No doubt, there are issues with the battery meter, but my device struggles to last 24 hours with light use, so that suggests the battery itself has a problem. My average usage in 24 hours would be:
SMS sent/received: 30ish
Call time: about 30 minutes
Email: manual update, about 3 or 4 times
Internet browsing: none
Auto-update of any features: none
MP3 listening: 30 - 60 mins
I have WM LongLife on (so no idle connections), I close all programs in the task manager (and then the task manager itself), the screen is set to 30% brightness, and vibration is off.
This is in stark contrast to reports I have seen on here, and other websites, of users with much heavier usage than me getting 2 days out of their phone. My battery has been through 9 full charge cycles.
Just search for Battlog (free programm) here in the forum or via google. Theres a thread where some users already posted some results. I could figure out the problem which caused my battery to drain with this proggi.

Thanks. I'll give that a try.
Hi all
At the moment I seem to be getting about 10hrs out of my battery that came with me brand new HD2!
I was told to upgrade my radio which i did to 2.08 and firmware which i did to ENERGY ROM 23544 but the battery life is the same, maybe i have a faulty battery!!!!
I just did a Battery Log and need your help in trying to find the problem and hopefully getting me to the point of my phone lasting 24hrs would be good!!!
the phone was put into standby mode and left yet it goes upto 200+mAh when the screen is off
ok i have email checked every 15min
no weather
no location
no facebook or twitter
just emails
wifi off
WMlongbatterylife installed so 2G all the time except when running certain apps which are not in use when in standby, I have emails to use on 2G
just cant understand why it can go to 12mAh in standby but not stay there,(in standby mode is 12mAh high)
ok a little increase but not 250+mAh, i could understand it being every 15mins for the email but its every couple of minutes!!
in taskmanager all that was in it for this test was active sync and arkswitch, plus batter Log v0.2.1.1
Please please help
Battery Log
Battery Test Graph
just in case the test was too small, i did a test on the 15th March which i will also upload just in case it can help, many thanks
15thMarch Bat Test
Way too short indeed. Make one over one whole day, or at least over 50% of the battery, and if possible tell when the phone is in standby and when in use, hard to guess what you're doing from the log.
I did Nothing, the 1st log was the phone in standby, the screen was off so why would it go up and down in the 2nd graph when its in stand by, its crazy that every couple of seconds it goes upto 200+ mAh
the short log and graph are the same time when the phone was in standby!!!
I meant on the longer log, the short one is too short to see much.
You certainly have some program that wakes up the device repeatedly to do whatever...
I have had my phone since december. My experience was also unforgivingly short battery time to start with, just as you have. My experience is however that the battery time has increased more or less continously up to now. Now it may last one full day, through the night and maybe all of next day (with moderate use and no automatic checks). Letting the battery down to 1-3% before charge did speed this process.
Where can I find such Battery Log / graph app ?
i did a bat log test last night when i was sleeping and if you could have a look at it when i post it that would be great i was sleeping so i do not understand why it shows a 150+mAh strange!!
all that is running is emails every 15mins i did a bat log test last night when i was sleeping and if you could have a look at it when i post it that would be great i was sleeping so i do not understand why it shows a 150+mAh strange!!
so to make clear, last night i was sleeping, phone in standby mode but i have emails every 15mins
no weather
no twitter
no FB
no location
wmlonglife installed
as far as i know its just emails are running every 15mins
when i go in task manager all that is there is active sync and bat log
but if i go in processes i see more
Bat Log App
Bat Log running all night when i was sleeping
These are the processes that were running
Wow, your nights are short
Anyway, there's something that prevents your HD2 from going to standby, as there's no "hole" in the log. I was suspecting it was the logging software itself (if it logs, the device must be running, right?)
But I tested it and it doesn't seem to cause trouble, see attached log. When the device is properly off, the log stops.
I also tried without logging but by watching the graph, knowing each square is 15secs by default (3x5), during a 10min standby the graph only advanced 15sec, so the time out of standby is minimal.

haha yes sad to say last night was short, head hit the pillow at 2am and was up at 6am
but thanks for replying
so like i said i have my emails downloaded every 15mins, could this stop my device going into standby??
i used to have it set up through gmail but with the bad battery time i thought i would try outlook, tried push which got them instantly but that was a shorter battery so now i am trying through outlook but every 15mins like i had before, but still just as bad!!
on all the logs i have done when i press my power key so my screen goes off and i do not touch my phone my mAh just never stays low, sometime over 200+mAh with the screen turned off so my battery just dies in 10hrs!!
as far as i know from the apps in task manager and the processes all i have running is my mail and the needed system processes so i am struggling, i would kill for it to last 24hrs and i never thought i would say that because that is still short i think!!
another 1350 extended battery on its way but i think no matter what battery i have if the phone is using upto 200+mAh in standby then it will just drain it too
please help as i am stuck now
I'd try getting rid of the programs that run (shakeandsave and possibly wmlonglife, one at a time).
If it still fails... well, reflash another ROM with the recommended radio, with prior mtty erase, then a good hard reset after flashing (read the flashing tutorials for those), and try again without installing any program.
Push should use less power as it only turns on and transfers data if needed, not every 15mins for nothing.
I run with data, wifi and push active 24/7, and a 8hr night only eats me 5-10% of battery.

Thanks for that great set of advice
not wanting to sound like a school yard kid being a copy cat but 5-10% sounds great to me, dont suppose i could know what ROM and Radio your running so i could try your setup....please!!!!!
thanks for all your help
Check my signature, the ROM already contains the appropriate radio and it works fine at least where I am.
Since your advice on removing WMlonglife i have a question
that app used to disconnect my internet connection when i finish with the internet or when it checked me email
but now because i do not have the app when i click the top bar on my home page it shows my internet connection and battery and always at the side of the top bar is the clock ticking away saying i have been connected for 13hours and increasing, now yes i have a unlimited internet kind of, its meant to be unlimited but they said its a 3GB limit and when i go over 3GB they will just decrease my internet speed, so i have no problem with it being connected all the time but wont that use my battery????
Nope, being connected all the time has no drawback that I could notice. And as you said they'll bother you if you transfer more than 3GB, time doesn't count.

Excellent, then i will let the time tick away since its not downloading anything unelss its fetching an actual email
in that case it looks like the problem for me was WMlonglife which is crazy since its an app to make battery life longer it did the opposite for me
i unplugged my phone from a full night charge at about 9am and now its nearly 4pm and i am on 88% with push email on and about an hours music and changing setting ang general going through the phone and replying to about 12 emails so far which i have recieved since taking my phone off charge!!
also 3G but no BT or wifi running!
if this keeps up i will easily get through a full day and now i have 2 batteries i think all is good
so thank you, thanks for the fast replies and all your help!!

Great, your battery life is even better than mine now
Hello,
I have been following these forums for a couple months now, and wow I am impressed. I love this community. I feel like I haven't contributed yet, so I started this thread. Below are my phone specs and my battery success. If this helps you, great! If you can contribute to this thread with your success, please do. If a similar thread is around, let me know; I don't want to take up extra space if I don't need to. My primary goal is for people to share their specs, usage, and battery life with Android. I had my brightness on high and 3g, GPS, and sync on (things you would normally want on all day). Peace!
Specs:
Leo - T-Mobile version
SD - 16GB class 4 (not sure brand, doesn't say)
Radio - 2.12.50.02_2
ROM - 28/7/10 Elegancia V 1.0 Final, Max Sense (T-Mobile version, if there is a difference?)
Android- 03/08/10 shubCRAFT CM6RC2/Froyo/Themed V1.1
Kernel - Cotulla 2.6.32.9#103
Info:
Unplugged at 07:30 am with 100%
Immediately checked email/XDA app for any updates (yep, I'm lame)
Standby for about an hour
Music/web browsing on Train to work (30 min)
Standby for 3 hours
Video playback during break (20 min)
Standby for 5 hours
Music/web browsing on Train home (30 min)
Home for about 3 hours with mix of standby/web browsing
9:10 pm - 15% warning (close to 15 hrs)
I stopped at 15%, because that is my "safety zone" for normal usage.
Anyone else care to share similar stories?
Before sleep yesterday, i have 97% battery, but when i wake up today, the battery left 47% :S 6hours drain 50% battery life only in stanby!!
when i checked background for what was running, Nothing..... maybe the android's screen is off, just it's not really sleep..
Hey guys, it's totaly normal, the actual HD2-Android roms are RC's, these problems will get fixed, just be patient.
My battery expirience:
8:30 - took from charging at 97% and went to work
normal use @ work (sms, googletalk, twitter and facebook)
15:00 - 15% warning
its about half the time from my windows rom, i think at current state of development it ist totaly OK.
And if you use SetCPU you can get a 1% discharge per hour in standby mode, if set up correctly
And what Waldemotor said, it's still in development.
Powermanagment isn't fully functioning, yet.
patience young grasshopper
5:40pm 100% when leaving work, started listening to music
5:55pm Standby for train ride
6:45pm Listening to music
7pm: Stopped listening to music
7-10pm: bit of xda app, checking my ps3 friends to decide whether to play MW2, showed the kids a couple of games
10pm-7am: Standby
7:40am-7:55 - Music before train
7:55-8:45 - Standby
8:45-9am Music
And here I am 09:35 and I have 30% battery left.

I'm with Darkstone Froyo 1.1 and i sync:
Gmail (push)
Exchange Mail, Calendar Contacts) every hour
Facebook every 2h
Twitter every 2h
I use SetCpu set to 245/245 profile screen off and 998/245 standard profile
I also Use
Juice Defender (paid version from market) :
With this i can plan usage of WIFI/3G :
- U can choose from push up to 5mn every 2h, i don't plan
- U can disable during night my night is from 22h to 7h
- disable if battery under 15%
- enable when i use choosed application in a list form exmple email, browser ... (keep disable elsewhere)
- U can choose automatically enable when screen is ON i don't : i prefer enable with application
Note: it's possible to control CPU too but i don't .. i think setcpu is better
- Wifi may be auto disabled when there's no access point near u
Estrong Task manager
- With this i kill all application except a choosen list when screen is off
GPS is always Disabled
With theses applications and settings i can get:
0% lost during night
and during day, my battery life depends on how much i use applications with 3G or Wifi and ... over all how much i phone
Note :
I've same conf on my Htc Hero ... (Android 2.1 hect sense) my battery life is almost 3 days
With HD2 desire V5 results are not so good
So i recommend :
Darkstone Froyo 1.1 (waiting for next build)
Wirh SetCPU, Juicedefender (paid version on market), and Estrong task manager
JuiceDefender has a free version but wiyh less options but u can try it
U can control battery JuicePlotter : it draws a graph for ur battery consumption and temperature telling u if wifi or APN were enabled.
Hope my contribution will be useful for some people
A+

Went to work with a full 100% battery, did a bit of webbrowsing and texting. It was down to 30% within about three hours.
But I'm not fussed. As it's been said, it's still in its infancy. I've done nothing to try and amend it (SetCPU etc). I just have everything running on default settings.
When things drop so far though, I just switch back to Windows if I'm not near a charger.
My 2 cents on the matter
I own an HD2 since last Friday, I think. I found out that it can run Android and I wanted to test it. I spent an entire day with the Android. I started with a full battery, but I browsed the market, installed a lot of applications, listened to some music, even played a few avi files. The battery is drained faster than on WinMobile, but just like it was pointed out here, Android is still in development. The main idea is that I used it a lot and the battery was almost drained in 9 hours (I also stop around 15% too). I used Darkstone Froyo 2.1 build (Dan1j3ls Froyo V1).
- zImage 3/8, Dan1j3ls Froyo V1 (without Sense)
- setCPU enabled (always ondemand between 245 - 998)
- Yesterday 7 am - unplugged with 100 %
- Sync enabled with 3G over the day, some web browsing and playing around all day, measuring
- *#*#4636#*#* -> Phone info -> Menu -> set frequency band to Euro band, afterwards the constant 2G/3G flapping disappeared, switch to 2G only happens, when no more 3G available
- 11:30 pm went to bed, disabled Data overnight -> 50% left.
- Woke up this morning 8 am with several alarms ringing -> still 41% battery left.
With little usage good two days possible!

I left mine at 98% before going to bed and 8 hours later (yes, I slept that long) there was 78% left...
I'm on MattC's build, German Vodafone Stock Rom (1.72...) and 2.10.._2 Radio.
SetCPU activ and Exchange checking for mails every hour...
However, I'm not sure if 20% or 2,5% per hour is good or bad
u can globally underclock ur cpu for better effect, I run mine at 80% clock (main profile)
Im now on my 3rd day of using mattc v1.4.
1st day battery life was SHOCKING (as to be 'expected' (can you expect a shock???) for a RC running off an SD card).
I probably got about 4 hours heavy use from 100% to 10%.
2nd day I set up SetCPU with profiles for 'screen off' and <25% battery, disabled all data except wifi, disabled gps (tried juice defender but didnt find it useful as I never really use mobile data anyways). LEFT SCREEN AT 100% BRIGHTNESS!
This ^^^ helped with battery drain a lot and stopped the huge drain i was getting while the phone/screen was asleep.
BUT on day 2 I got a WEIRD problem:
Tried to set a pattern for unlocking - Put phone to sleep and rewoke to test lock.
The screen came on almost all white with my home screen barely visible underneath the white 'vail'.
I shutdown android and booted into WM6.5.x.
THE WEIRD THING IS THAT BEFORE THE 'CRASH' MY BATTERY SHOWED 49% BUT AFTER A REBOOT IT SHOWED 14%!
Multiple restarts into winmo and android still showed 14%/13%! WTF? I had to start charging again from there.
Now the HD2 wont charge past 91% (in android), untested in WM. I unplugged the USB and replugged numerous times - still wouldnt charge past 91%.
Left on charge overnight (android) and still at 91 this morning.
Been using it quite heavily ~3 hrs on and ~1 in standby today with lots of wifi and batt has gone from 91 to 76%.
ONLY LOSING 0.5 PER HOUR in standby now.
So basically, my battery is going nuts lol.
But so far I'm more than happy with it (considering it running from sd etc etc).
To all devs working on android builds - THANK YOU and keep up the good work.
Anyone else had any battery anomolies like mine?
I also experienced wrong loading behaviour, or maybe it's just the percentage showing wrong.
The following helped for me: Reboot into Windows Mobile, there the battery loading status was display correctly as 100% (also with the status LED glowing green constantly). Then with loading cable still plugged in, boot Android, then in Android the percentage reading was correct again.
really offtopic but anyone care to share how do you choose what to run in the background and what not? I use the task killer app but I kill the apps and they just reapear without me starting them.
thanks for sharing brothers!
can anyone comment on the battery life/consumption with this latest kernal and 384+ RAM ?
im using zimage 08/03 right now with Darkstone froyo v1 and my battery life is pretttty bad...
it will go from "93%" (full, it wont charge over), to about 25% in 4.5 hours..
and this is making NO phone calls and on standby. I have setCPU with the settings from the other thread too
just trying to figure out a good solution
I'm using the CM6 froyo.
Without setcpu and without the Aug 3 zimage, my battery drain was about 12% an hour on standby.
Now, with the Aug3 zimage and setcpu, I have about 6% battery drain per hour on standby.
Win mo: stock Tmo-US ROM. 2.08 radio. (both stock). 16GB class 2 MicroSD.
I always make sure I charge when phone is either off, or in winmo. I never charge the battery on android. I don't yet trust the android kernel enough to charge my battery correctly.

Yes.
Not matter what I do, and whatever distribution I'm using there is huge battery drain in stanby mode (~5%/h). I changed ROM, radio, android version (mattc, darkstone, ...). Even used winmo registry tricks.
HD2 (eu), ROM Energy, checked mattc v1.5, shubCRAFT 1.3, NexusLeo v1, ...
But there was a time I had very good results - like 1%/h in standby. Do not know what changed (except changing Android ditribution very often). The other users (a lots of them) has 1-1,5%/h in standby mode, so I'm sure it is possible. There is some kind of setting/mistake or something to discover. For now Android (even running form SD) is capable to have as good "battery results" as winmo.
I will try
- charging in winmo only
- sd format or using another microsd card
- clean Android (without data and additional software)

same case for me as little usage (sync email few times a day manually, play few songs for kids, little browsing and market). 2 days with batteryminder. ~ 50% since last charged 1 day ago.
The one that making real different for me is when I used GSM auto (PRL) (in *#*#4636#*#*).
Also auto turn to airplane mode 11:30pm-7:00am for me.
I also applied the sdcard registry changes in winmo. seems this will take some effect also.

The solution was to
1. I did battery calibration (not sure this task was really necessery) and checked winmo battery drain - to make sure battery is not broken by Android. No, it didn't
2. Charge battery to fulll on WinMo (or turned phone off), boot Android then remove /data/system/batterystats.bin .
Use this commands from Android Terminal (free).
su
rm /data/system/batterystats.bin

3. Restart Android (in that moment I had expected 1%/h drain) and use battery till it come empty
Thats all.
Propably, after many android switches (new distribution tests) the battery stats was broken - collected partially in different Android version.
Then finally, after 1 week with 5%/h battery drain problem in standby I have 1%/h in standby again. I think it is standard drain in haret.exe version.
I am really new to android devices.
I got a Rogers moto flipout MB511 (Canada) from my friend recently. The standby time is terribly short. Discharged within 10 hours just standby in an area with good signal strength (-69db, 2G only).
I have disabled background sync, wifi, 3G, used setcpu to use 125/125mhz when screen off, removed facebook account. (I do have gmail account setup) The standby could be even shorter if I don't do things mentioned above.
Tried different roms, like 0.18.4 (This is en.CN rom), U3_01.14.2 (This is a rom without Motoblur, is really fast!), no noticeable improvement. With Powertutor, I haven't found any suspect app consuming too much battery power.
I was expecting at least 2-3 days with phone standby in 2G.
Does anyone have the same issue with me. i am wondering if this is hardware related issue or software issue. I suspect this phone might have current leaking issue. Is there any software can accurately report current?
Any suggestions?
That also arrives at me that do I have to make?
the same trouble to me
I'm guessing it's just a standard effect of how the phone draws power. The guy i bought mine from on eBay included an extra battery with it, for that reason.
But this is definitely abnormal.
Using *#*#4636#*#*, I found the there is some problem with Android system, which holds partial wake lock most of the time. So the phone is not in sleeping state for most of the time.
I don't have data to prove this. I know some of the guys' flipout can last 2-3 days, and they all have data plan (not just something like unlimited browsing, with only 80 port available.). For some of the reasons, I feel this is caused by Moto blur. A lot of blur stuff is put into android system. They might try to communicate with the blur server, which requires SSL and 80 port available. Because my phone doesn't have data plan, communication will fail. During retry, the blur keeps partial wake lock and prevent phone from sleeping.
I got this issue with all firmwares that runs on my phone, including the deblur version. I think even the deblur version has a lot of blur stuff and try to pass back some user data back to moto server based on IMEI.
Try buying a new oem stock battery?
I am pretty sure it is not the fault of the battery. I have 2 stock batteries, standby time is proportional to their capacity.
The issue is obviously the partial lock.
Same here
Battery goes pretty fast even when not using the phone, even worse when using it.
Yeah I'm also experiencing same problems! I'm using the deblur version.
Battery drains like hell! I'm also on 2G, no wifi, no gps, no data sync!
I've checked my battery usage and this is what I got:
Voice calls: 32%
Cell standby: 22%
Phone idle: 18%
Android OS: 16%
Android System: 4%
ZDbox: 3%
Display: 2%
Cell standby, Phone idle and Android OS seem to be quite high. Anyone know why?
Thanks
Hi,
Same sh*t here...
I have better results if I am running the JuiceDefender (extreme profile: data on demand) and SetCPU (profile: on screen off: 125/125) . Note that on the SetCPU the profile options (on the top of the profiles) MUST be checked in order to be active... Unfortunatelly I am stuck to 3G only (feckin three-mobile-UK does not allow to fallback to 2G)
Also, I am running the "Quick Settings" in order to cut off quickly the GPS/data/wifi.
BTW, be sure that the Settings -> Data Manager -> Data Delivery -> Blur Applications is set to "Sync over Wi-Fi Only"
My results so far are :
mobile left the overnight charger arounf 7:30, then after 12hrs (19:00) the battery is around 60% .. all this time just some sms (no calls at all) plus around 10min email check..
cheers

three uk are a 3g only network they have no 2g system
all of their handsets have been 3g from the start because of video calling
I´ve got 24h+ Standby time, Deblur + Juice defender + Never make/recive calls with this ****.
i had the same problem. only 6/7 hours tops with juice defender on!
i switched of 3g and now it does 20 percent a day!
must be a firmware issue.
i got deblurred rom, euro.
with rom deblur, setcpu with screenoff freq 125-250 (screenon 125-550mhz),juicedefender free (set screenoff no data, app update freq 30min),10 sms received,15 mins of call, internet navigation about 10min,my flipout is now at 50% of battery (the phone is on by 9.00AM)...
but with this setting and with a more intensive use (20-30 mins of call,10-15 sms,30-40 mins of internet) my flipout goes at 0% in about 12h
Hi,
Its almost 2 months after my last reply here..
My flipout now can stay 48h on standby, and on normal usage (around 50 sms send/receive and 30min of 3g data..) can be stay alive for 1.5 days ..
The applications that I find very usefull are:
SetCPU (I set the phone to be 125Mhz min/max when the Screen is OFF)
DataSwitch ( to kill any data connection)
Autorun manager (to avoid running some apps like Skype)
I also re-calibrated the battery a couple of times (I left it to be completely drained then recharged to 100% and used a util called Battery calibration)
Not bad anyway...
cheers
