I google, search etc.. but can't find a solution to make the status display permanent for phone signal, wifi etc.. across the top of the phone.
By the way, just bought this one focus flash.

re
aye I have noticed this a few times on my xda i - be interested if there is a way around it, or if there is a way to receive a notification of some sort if you have no signal.
Is there any software that will monitor the devices GPS connectivity ?
Cheers, Shire
Hello everyone,
Purchased the MDA II from Tek'N'Toys and love it. However, the manual does not mention all of the notification icons that we use here in the U.S. and I don't have any idea what a couple of them mean. For example: The triangle that briefly appears I am assuming means "Tri-Band." There is one icon that appears that looks like an arm with an "x" in the middle. It could also look like a telephone with an "x." I am assuming this means that a network is not available. Does anyone know if these are correct?
Also, how do I know if my GPRS is continually "on?" I've read that it's constantly on even when turned "off;" however, upon turning the device off, it switches from being connected to the GPRS status to just "waiting" status. Any ideas on this as well? Even with Messenger online it still goes into "waiting" mode when turned off.
Any advice will help.
Best regards,
Monty Gibson
I live in an area with weak signal. Every once in a while when my 6800 gets signal, it provides a notification popup showing Area e.g. "Pune"
It occurs god-knows-how-many-times a day, and I am irritated as hell.
I guess some registry settings are needed to fix it. Can anyone please help?
Settings, Sounds and Notifications - Notifications tab?
Or...
Settings, Phone, Services?
One of those should have a setting...

If you're on Sprint call retentions and get a free Airave.

I have and love the new DJ05 update I just have one question. Ever since I installed it I have a new Icon on the top status bar of my phone that is like a diamond box with a plus sign in it and then off to the right side there are some curved shaped bars that get progressively bigger like a voice or signal strength icon. At first I thought it was my GPS but when I turn GPS off that symbol stays there and when I am using GPS then I get a different GPS icon. I'm not sure what this symbol is and I was just curious if anyone knows what it is.
Ok so I just unticked all the location services in the location settings and the icon remains on the phone but the curved bars next to it go away if they are all unticked, so it must have to do with my current location. Maybe it is just a little notification saying it knows where it is.
Hey, why don't we tell the world that we have dj05? There was a reason that you're supposed to not talk about it on forums...
Please refer to irc.
Retrokid's updated AOSP theme gets rid of the icon by making it transparent. That's the only way to actually get rid of it at this time as far as I know.
Thatdudebutch's SuperDark theme also gets rid of it.
Sent from my SuperDark DJ05 Fascinate.

I posted the other day about me losing my "google" connection (the Bars and the 3G indicator being green) well After the new update I have yet to lose this connection. Has anyone else notice this. I havent seen anymore complaints or anything so I thought I would just check to see if everyone agreed with me.

I've applied the update, but I still get periods of grey bars instead of green. I can still do network things like surf the web, though, even when grey.
