where is file?
I guest this is the source... from gsmhosting.com
Sorry about links, because of i am a new user, i can't send links.
If you search asansam 1.6.9, you can find source and download links.

Yes, I checked it properly. Did you read the quote I wrote on that post? I was not talking about you giving the credits, but I'm talking about that other forum using the XDA workaround and not giving the credits on their page - by the way, I am the 0% battery issue kernel patch and app fix original author, if you mind.
Besides this, It's a one click software, but accordingly to that other forum it's not a repair, but only a fix, an easy way of applying XDA workaround.

Can't help it mate ... In every field especially in development you can find people stealing others work. If you ask me file a DMCA against that post or article in that website they will either take that article down or credit your work.

Can you confirm if it fixed the problem, or was simply running the workaround?

I think I will work to finish the app on the next weekend.
Bazoo are u saying ur able to or close to finish the app?
just 2 question with this fixtool,
is it possible to install others roms normally? or do we have to do the full step by step everytime we want to instal a new rom.?
and what about the battery percentage is it calculated as when the phone does not have the 0%?

Yes. Anyway, I already consider the FuelGauge v1.6 the best precision we can get - it now takes in count the CPU clock/CPU usage.
I will be working on a last feature which someone have asked me some weeks ago, and then it's job done.
Why 85%
Why is it only showing 85%?

Please, look at the FAQ on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1312398
[Q] I installed your stuff and my battery % is stuck. Can you help?
[A] Make sure you dont have a task killer messing with the apk fix - it must runs ALL THE TIME to monitor peripheral usage. Also, make sure you installed the correct version of kernel and apk fix - check app version and kernel version, to make sure you have latest version. Also, you need to be on correct stock firmware version before patching the kernel.
If all versions are ok, try to stop the apk fix service and clean app data. If this cannot help, flash stock firmware (watch out to match the firmware version and kernel version), wipe the data, patch the kernel, and install app fix.

Hi there,
I am pretty new with this stuff, as I just got this phone today. It came with Froyo2.2 so I unrooted it back to the original JFK.
It did not come with a sim card, so I do not have a sim inside the phone as of now. But I do have a bell sim that I will use after to put the unlock key in... Is that okay?
I Connected the vibrant through Mini Kies and the MTP application says its connected.
I just re rooted from J16 back to the original.
I have the 64 bit drivers installed.
When I try to run Generate Unlock Windows Script I get the following error message saying...
Copy nv_data.bin
*daemon not running. Starting it now *
*daemon started succesfully *
error: device not found
error unable to find file <.\nv_data.bin>
could not find C:\documents and settings\1\desktop\key\generateunlockwindows\nv_data.bin
Anyone know what this means?
Or know what to do in this situation?
I am not sure if I should try installing the 32bit drivers or what.
how did you downgrade the phone from android 2.2?
I just bought the phone through ebay with the OS already at 2.2, and the phone is locked to t-mobile. I've heard it is not possible to unlock it with the 2.2 update. Is that true?

Yup, having exact same problem. If you find a fix let me know.
Make sure your usb setting is on debug and you have all of the files for the unlock on your pc. You also need java installed.
That method worked for me from stock.

Fixing so-called "Bricks"/Odin Errors
This guide is open to contribution/editing/correcting
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BOOT CYCLE
This is where you get the annoying Samsung Screen/Galaxy S screen.
DOWNLOAD REQUIRED (CREDITS TO JUSTANOTHERCROWD):
1. Get into Download Mode (WITH THE PHONE PLUGGED IN) by following the steps below
*Turn off the phone until you get to the charging battery screen (keep in mind, your phone is currently PLUGGED IN)
*Press volume up and down, and power all at once.
*As soon as the screen turns black, release your power button.
2. Unplug phone from USB
3. Open Odin (in Administrator if you're running W7 or Vista), try one of the ones I attached to this post, at least one of them is bound to work, some don't work for me, but works for others, some doesn't work for others, but works for me, whatever floats your boat
4. Load in the files into Odin that you have downloaded from above Just load in the files corresponding to the text field.
DO NOT CHECK REPARTITION.
5. Plug in your phone with the DL mode
6. Click start and wait for the magic
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NO-BOOT PHONES
This is where your phone does NOT turn on, no combo of buttons works and power button does nothing.
DO THIS ONLY WHEN YOU PLUG IN YOUR PHONE AND NOTHING SHOWS UP ON THE SCREEN!!! If else, follow the steps from above.
This method is basically same as above, EXCEPT the way you get into Download Mode as your phone is HARD BROKEN.
1. Download all the files required in the "BOOT CYCLE" section of this post.
2. Remove everything from your phone (SD card, sim, battery).
3. Plug your phone into your computer WITHOUT the battery, as you have already taken it out in the last step.
4. Press and HOLD vol. up and vol. down.
5. As you are HOLDING these buttons, reattach your battery.
6. You should be in Download Mode.
7. Unplug phone from USB
8. Follow steps 4-8 from the "BOOT CYCLE" section.
Troubleshooting:
-Odin stuck at some random process?
*Switch to another odin
*Make sure you did NOT check repartition, if you did, just repeat all the steps over again, except for the downloading parts, obviously.
-Phone not responsive?
*Try "NO-BOOT PHONES"section of this guide
-Phone stuck at Galaxy S logo screen?
*Put it in to DL mode, and run Odin again, it's just a bad install.
-All three ODIN is nonfunctional, stuck or giving "FAILED" errors?
*DO NOT CLOSE ODIN ONCE IT HAS FAILED!
*Unplug your phone
*Replug in your phone, get it into DL mode
* Unplug once it is in DL mode
*Replug and ODIN should recognize your phone
*Leave all the settings the same, then click "Start" again.
-Cannot get into download mode using the method I listed? Use the method(s) below:
Soldering Method
More methods coming soon

If you want help you are going to have to be a lot more specific. What have you actually tried?
Just a tip, people will not help you on these forums if you ask for help without showing you've tried to solve the problem and know how to search.
There are loads of unlock threads. Almost everyone get one method to work eventually.
Hi TheBritScott... i dont know why i can't post reply to your thread in "galaxy s2 android development", so i start a thread here, hope u can read it.
Hi,
Originally my phone was from the UK Carphone Warehouse (CPW)
I have upgraded it from 2.2 to 2.3 etc...
The last time I did a firmware upgrade to ICS was a few months back and I didn't have any problem doing it.
After the upgrade, I had a few bugs. I used this file - GT-I9100_XEO_I9100XXLPW_I9100OXALPW_I9100XXLPW.tar and the main bugs I have are - The screen won't lock and when I press the Power Button, it will turn the screen off but when I hold it for 1 second the phone closes down.
So today I thought, lets see if I can change my firmware to a CPW version, so I downloaded GT-I9100_XEU_I9100XWLP7_I9100XXLPS_I9100XEULP5.tar and installed that. It went through the usual stuff and upon restarting I was getting an "android.core" crash. The screen stops working and after several reboots nothing change. I also booted up and cleared the cache, and this didn't do anything either.
I have just reverted back to the first ICS upgrade but still has not screen lock or when I press the power button for 1 second it closes down.
I wondered if anyone else has had these problems or could recommend to me what may fix it.
I appreciate all help
Thanks

So I think your problem is something wrong with your EFS folder.
1st, you must root your phone, then open market and search for this program "GSII_Repair"(Thanks HELROZ), install it, then open the program after installed>Go to "Repair GSII" tab>Follow those steps (1-2-3)>reboot phone if app need>done
And remember flash ROM without .PIT file and REPARTITION ticked...
Wish u can fix the problem, I had the same problem and Fixed it with this method...
I think you need to have minimum 10 posts before you can post in development sections.
Thanks!!!

I tried searching but not really sure what it is I need.
Histiory:
I installed Zune on my computer and hooked my Windows 7 Focus up for the 1st time.
While in Zune it told me updates were available. I clicked on update,it went through all the steps, but when it got to restarting your phone thats where it stayed.
After 13 hours I disconnected the phone, and now I just have the white Samsung logo, although I CAN get into download mode and hard reset
My issue is what am I supposed to download, and how? I'm as noob as you get,but hopefully I can follow simple instructions.
I found a thread on here about firmware revision, but when I click on that it wanted me to install iVid,or something like that, and not even sure what firmware I was supposed to be using.
Under the battery it shows Rev 1.4
Please, can someone help me restore my phone?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi, well since you can put it in download mode, you can install MAGLDR (custom bootloader) and flash a custom rom.
Install all for revision 1.4 , link for MAGLDR(read carefully the instructions) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1485569

I'm a little concerned about putting anything custom because of my lack of technical knowledge. I'm afraid if I encounter any issues in the future,it wont be easily corrected with custom roms.
Does Zune then work with a custom Rom,or is it no longer needed?

Ok thanks. I guess I didn't read it well enough,as this is the thread that I did search ,but wasn't sure as to what link to use,and when I cliick on the links I got this:
http://lnx.lu/5yD, and I didn't think that was right as stated in the very 1st line of my original post. I guess I should have linked that thread and asked the question form there as which to use,and if I was supposed to be on some page for "final torrent"
okay, let's go slower then:
- went to the link with the factory firmware
- there are three roms provided there; since you said that your focus is a rev 1.4, the correct rom is the one labeled WP7_PRODUCT_4K (1.4 HW), in other words, the rom named "Samsung i917 Focus firmware UCJK3 ATT USA 4K"
- clicked the link, multiupload says that the file is no longer available
- went back and checked the other two just because... all gone... figures, HEH
- performed a web search for the term "Samsung i917 Focus firmware UCJK3 ATT USA 4K" (see the trend here?)
- while most of the mirrored links are dead, there are still mirrors alive and well, as noticed on the very first page of results
- one of these is stored on depositfiles, the link: http://depositfiles.com/files/oimdoqz1r
- the other is on zippyshare, http://www7.zippyshare.com/v/14086695/file.html
now your mission is:
- download the file
- follow enderpsp's guide, here, again: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17092804#post17092804
- if successful, treat yourself to a nice drink
- SAVE THE FILE in its original package and store it in a cool, dry location for future use
...and that's why i said that search works. because it does
cheers and good luck
ps. there's a thanks button in this forum for a reason

I agree,as long as you know what your searching for. When you find threads with broken links ,as I did,it makes a noob even more confused then when they started the search. See 1st line of my original post.
I'm just a guy that had a working phone and when it went to update, killed my phone.
I had no idea the rom you posted is what I needed,,,,so again thanks:good:.

Now I'll explain what happened when I tried the above:
When you follow enderpsp's guide he states:
You will not need the "Samsung WP7 Flash Program" as it is included in the ROM (Samsung-i917-Focus-firmware-UCJK2-ATT-USA.exe).
Install Samsung Mobile USB Drivers v5.2
Unfortunately no instruction for a noob on how to install the USB Drivers:crying:
Next it states to:
"1. Copy "Samsung-i917-Focus-firmware-UCJK2-ATT-USA.exe" in a new folder and run it (Install). After running you will see these files:
signed_CSC_Cetus_ATT_i917ATTJK2.csc
signed_eboot_Cetus_ATT.eb0
signed_pda_Cetus_ATT.nb0
signed_phone_Cetus_ATT.bin
WP7 Downloader Ver 7.21 for All Device (Publish version).exe
WP7_Downloader_Ver_7.05_for_Retail_Device_(Product _Force_Select_MD5_X).exe
Then it goes on to state:
"The fhash program you need to run is
WP7_Downloader_Ver_7.05_for_Retail_Device_(Product _Force_Select_MD5_X).exe"
Unfortunately WP7_Downloader_Ver_7.05_for_Retail_Device_(Product _Force_Select_MD5_X).exe is not part of the download.
The flash program you are being told to run isn't there:crying:
Again very confusing for a noob (see the trend here?)
So currently here is where it stands. Don't ask me how,but after more hours spent on this then I can remember,I manage to restore the phone... YEAA !!
but when I connect the phone to the computer or just turn it on it tells me there are updates for the phone. Running these updates is exactly what caused the problem originally,so now I don't know if I should try again,or just leave a working phone alone?
But again,I really do thank you for your time and support.Yor help is what kept me going at trying to resolve my issue.

Yes,I did,but then it tells me there is a update. Updating the phone through Zune is what started my original problem.
Plus I'm not really sure what the update really is for.
I'd like to know the procedure to remake all the partitions of my phone. One by one.
Cause don't metter what modem I flash, don't matter what rom I flash, baseband stills unknown...
So ServiceMode (*#9090#) stills always blank for me. As *#0011# is blank too...
And cause ServiceMode stills blank, I can't activate one option there that can set possible for my phone to be fixed with a z3x box that I already bought.
The issue with my baseband and IMEI starts when I install a bad app, in a ironic way, with the function to backup the IMEI.
And my nightmare have no end until that day...

Times I go I found a topic with one person that have the same problem as me with that app...

I am so angry against the dev, he has never answered my mails, and the app can still be installed on Galaxy Note 3 devices, even that Google Play let an option to the dev to ban a sort of devices.

Oh guy, you are a god for me...
Maybe I will try this weekend.
And If my baseband be fixed I will do a donation for you.
Thanks!
And what about Samsung Drivers? Is the same as the drivers installed with Samsung Kies?
Good luck!
@Raphy511
In the topic says to download this:
"- adb http://www.multiupload.nl/VU164H9Y20"
But the file is expired.
This "adb" is the same file ".exe" inside the file "EFS Professional" that you send to me?
And if yes... When I do a double click in file "adb", it open a screen like a "command prompt" and closes fastly. So how can I run the commands like was said by @mirek190 if the screen closes? Do I have to use Terminal Emulator app?
Thanks.
And about Samsung Drivers (link also expired).
Is this?

First, if you haven't already, download Stock firmware for your phone. (Sammobile.com is best I think but you have to have free membership to DL) Make sure you get the right one - some Asian phones are different partitions to Euro ones.
Download Odin 3.09
Turn phone OFF - this is a must to have modem/bootloader get replaced. Start phone in Download mode with [Menu] + [Vol Down] + [Power] then [Vol Up] to go into DL mode.
Run Odin as Administrator. (right-click and choose it) Connect phone to USB from PC. Note if this doesn't show on PC you may need Samsung drivers installed on PC.(Link is HERE
The phone will show up in Odin when it is connected.
Click AP and find the stock firmware and add it. Wait - it will take a minute or so until it says Ready.
Click Start. Wait... Wait some more. When it is ready it will restart the phone and you can run setup of the phone.
Good luck!
NOTE-1:
I'm not a developer or something even near to that. All information provided here is copied from different internet sources like this & this & this and many others.
It's according to best of my knowledge and I'll not be responsible for any harm to you or your device. It works perfectly for me. You may try it on your own risk.
Save / backup your data before continuing. Whole device will be wiped.
NOTE-2:
If you have a custom recovery, install Stock ROM (v2.1.0.13 or v2.1.0.12) instead.
If you don't have a custom recovery, you may get one here or here.
If your device is bricked and can't boot into recovery or bootloader mode (read here what it is), proceed.
NOTE-3:
Given firmware link is v2.1.0.13 for device 059V782. There are some variants of Nokia X2DS (other product codes) which were officially updated from 2.1.0.11 to 2.1.0.12, so they dont support version 2.1.0.13.
Make sure your device supports 2.1.0.13 by googling your product code (written on back of device, see by removing back cover) or you may get in trouble. In case if you need 2.1.0.12, download it from some other link and follow the instructions given here.
NOTE-4:
Hard-bricked devices (with no buttons working, no Download Mode) may also be recovered by this method but with a slightly different procedure.
QFIL can also be used instead of NCS, but NCS feels a kinda little bit official way
REQUIREMENTS:
A PC with Windows and uninterrupted power supply. (I used Dell Inspiron 15R with Windows 8.1 and 10).
A USB data cable.
Fully charged phone, soft-bricked at maximum i.e. no recovery, no boot accessible
STEPS:
Download and Install NCS to your PC.
Copy UserGroupsConfiguration.cfg to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nokia\Nokia Care Suite\Product Support Tool For Store 5".
Download Firmware and extract to "C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\RM-1013".
Launch NCS > Product Support Tool for Store 5.
At Sign-In screen, click Work Offline.
Disable Automatic Product Selection.
Go to File > Open Product and select RM-1013.
Click Programming > Recovery. Downloaded Firmware must be listed there.
Click Start and follow instructions. DO NOT INTERRUPT FLASHING PROCESS OR IT MAY HARD BRICK YOUR PHONE LEAVING IT USELESS.
Wait a few minutes and done. You have a newly purchased phone in your hands if all goes well.
Thanks for making a proper post for this.:good:

You followed instructions 100%? Install NCS from my given link. It contains all necessary drivers including Emergency Driver. Use some other USB port on your PC. Try reinstalling NCS or try on different PC / different OS. You may also try QFIL if NCS doesn't work.

Good. I suggested you to use QFIL already For me, both NCS and QFIL work but I didn't try any other product code firmware except 059V782 which is my device code.
What's your product code? 059V787 or 059V782? I'm gonna add a warning to my thread about this.
There are some devices which were officially updated from 2.1.0.11 to 2.1.0.12, so they don't support 2.1.0.13 as per my understanding.

Well, personally I never faced this issue. But you can try flashing @yoAeroA00 Custom Firmware. It flashes radio as well as other related partitions.
