I currently on update 8 on my NC. How do i update to newer V6 supercharger?
Funny you should ask. I posted a guide last night.
The guide was meant for the ICS builds. If you are running cm7, you only need to download the latest update of the script (attached) and skip to step 5.
If you are running any build of the current source (from 2/11 on or so), then everything you need is attached to the post. It is a long post and may look daunting, but it really pretty easy.
The files you need are attached to the post and they work with both of the unofficial builds being posted here nightly.

So I have a captivate as a loaner from bestbuy until my phone can be junked out and I can get a new one for free (<3 you black tie protection.) And thus I am stuck with again for a while SO... I got tired of redoing the setup I do on my Cyanogen devices every time I update a daily.
Here is the .zip I flash after every update.
Features (What it includes and the components used to do it):
Market/Google Apps (Latest 2011-06-13) From Here: http://goo-inside.me/gapps/
Email Without Exchange Security From Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=848564
TalonMTD Kernel v0.0.1 From here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1215876
Camera from MIUI - From here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1066885
Modified Phone APK with an option to hide the REALLY annoying hold button. (I honestly can't find where I got this from again.)
Instructions.
Get cyanogen mod. If you have it skip to step 2. Otherwise installation instructions are here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Samsung_Captivate:_Full_Update_Guide
Once cyanogen-mod is installed, or after each daily update, flash the zip found below. (This can be done in place of the google-apps installation.)
Finally, Download Link: http://fennyfatal.com/android/Captivte.FennyMod.B1.zip
Standard disclaimer applies: Don't do anything stupid, and I am not responsible for any damages. And all credit goes to the original authors for the original mods the only one of which I created is the Exchange Security Removal.
Note: When we have an official+stable build I will start supporting this as a Full Kanged ROM as long as I have a captivate to test it on, but until then it will just be a patch.

The thread is here because it will be a full Rom with tweaks, but I am packaging it as an update to the existing cyanogen builds until there is a stable release to base it off of. If a mod thinks differently it can be moved.
How do I install Multiboot on CM10.I dont want to have CM10 on multiboot but have multiboot on my defy with CM10 as the main ROM and install wajkiui as second ROM. So How DO I do this??

I think I had read somewhere that multiboot is not supported.

Too bad its not supported :crying:
It's supported now -
03.09: Fix Audio in video rec(not ideal) and decrease fps in preview camera (not in video), 2Channels for audio, DSP-Manager in software which support JB (ex, apollo) it's not a bug, support multiboot, wifi-tethering (thanks ot devs of ml2, maybe have bugs, not tested)

Found this thread when looking for help on how to use it! I'll have to keep searching!
Can someone provide a detailed guide on how to dual boot CM10 by quarx (10th oct '12 or later builds, which are the 2ndboot nightly builds) and CM7.2 stable build?? I read a lot of posts in this thread. But there is no proper information for dual booting the CM10 2ndboot nightly builds with any other ROMs. Those posts create a lot of confusion as each person is suggesting different method,
It would be good if someone who has successfully dual booted CM10 2ndboot builds with some other ROM explains clearly the steps to be followed, along with links to be used.

This is connected to the older ROMS. The 2nd boot ROMS (Oct. 10th and later) don't support multiboot...

As far as I understand from the [DEV][2012/08/29] Multiboot v0.8 thread by m11kkaa, we can keep the 2ndboot CM10 builds as real system(nand) and another ROM as the virtual one(in SD Card). I came to the above conclusion based on the below posts:

But I couldn't get it to work up to now.
Hadn't worked for me too...
Can anyone whose using multiboot please reply and guide us?
Hello everybody,
Before I jump into the compilation proces and uploading my build I want to ask everybody first if anybody is interested in a weekly build CM10.
I know that Ivendor is not changing his sources every week, but the base of CyanogenMod is under constant development, so changes in the CyanogenMod source will be up to date again.
Let me know if you're interested by replying to this thread.
Also if theres enough interest in a build with kernel 3.0 inside I'm also willing to upload this image as well.
Because already one person replied I'm willing to share my compiled image. After all it's already compiled.
This build is compiled against ivendors sources on his Github and the latest CyanogenMod sources which were available.
Of course this image is already tested on my phone and everything seems to work like it did on Ivendor's last build.
Because Ivendors sources haven't been changed, this build still has the same bugs as his build.
To be complete the following:
- Vsync doesn't work, because the current kernel doesn't support this yet.
- Panorama shots
- Also mobile internet has a little glitch, which only appears to happen if you have a Pin locked SIM.
Solutions to this are:
* Setting the phone into Airplane Mode and back to normal. This should load the needed module.
* A more clean solution is to use the patch provided at: d-h.st/BgH This patch can be applied through CWM.
- Also camera view is upside down, but this is not noticable in the final saved image. (Don't know if this is a new or already known bug I don't use camera that much).
You can download my build from: mediafire.com/?m765ok5mtly7l6h
You have to copy the links into you're adress bar, because I'm not yet allowed to post outside links.
If anyone has questions feel free to ask.
Greetings PsychoGame
a weekly build would be nice
i donĀ“t use the 3.0 kernel because of the not working camera
i hope it changes soon
Hereby I updated my thread and put in the links to where you can download my build.

Great idea. You can use 2 builds, one with 2.6 kernel, second with 3.x
it would be very great
Sent from my GT-I9001 using xda premium
I want to build MIUI V6 for my GT-P3100 but only thing is that it's an MDPI device.
I still tried something and here's what I did -->
1) setup patchrom on my Ubuntu.
2) downloaded the miui v6 repo from github
3)used slimkat as base rom for my device ( thank you @Android-Andi)
4)got stuck after issuing the "make fullota" command. I got error regarding multiple configurations while installing framework-res.apk to put folder.
5) I changed the lcd density in build.prop to 240 to at least get a flash able zip although it might not work.
But I still got the same error.
I am following the guide available on github.com/MiCode/patchrom
It is written in broken English but still is quiet clear.
Then to check if I am doing something wrong, I built miui for nexus 5 using the same method and it worked flawlessly.
Could it be due to using slimkat as my base.?
I could use some help here as its my first time with miui and I have never built from source although I will surely build from source if I get enough time and a good guide?
You could try my CM build as base to cross check.
First of all I've got to give thanks where it's due: I would not have been able to get this far if it weren't for @Niropa's excellent guide found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-how-to-compile-roms-zenfone-2-t3205312/ I'd never have been able to make this guide. There's a lot of great stuff there, but I think it's now out of date.
Here's the link to the quip document where I'm putting together the guide:
https://quip.com/BO2dAOEvDGXd
Once again:
1) This guide wouldn't exist if it weren't for @Niropa.
2) It's my intention for this guide to be the kernel of a build script that can grab sources, then build:
-CM 12.1
-CM 13.0
-Maybe some other android stuff, but I don't know, because the real gold to me is.....
-Ubuntu Touch (If I can make it work, I bet it screams with 4gb of memory....)
-Tizen
-Firefox OS
.....I can now check CM-12.1 @ Z00A off the list of stuff to port. I hope to get all of these downloading, updating, and building from the same script or set of scripts for Z00A, and then I will work on making those scripts work with all of the Cyanogenmod devices. Yay!
