Anu chance of getting flash videos to play in stock browser??.
I know ANDROID 4+ doesn't support flash and I know I'll have to download and install adobe flash player from the web(which I already did) it still doesn't play.
Btw, I also own HTC One and it plays flash in stock player out of the box so was wondering what's different

I don't think so. I've only managed to get it working in Firefox so far.

Found this in another forum post:
"Flash won't work with the built-in Webkit browser. After side-loading, no Flash love and there's no option to enable Flash in browser settings (unusual since the standard Webkit browser usually works with Flash Player and has that option)."
I've also read in other threads that Jelly Bean on the S4 does not have flash support at all for the stock browser. It also doesn't have a permanent desktop mode, open new tabs in background and a plethora of other features they left out. The S3 stock browser was far superior, not sure why they decided to remove all the features that are actually useful on the S4.
The stock browser as well as Google's Chrome browser no longer support Flash as Adobe released a statement in late 2011 that they will no longer be providing any support to the mobile platform. This means no stability updates as well as no security updates. However, Firefox for android still supports Flash playback and I've found that most Flash content is supported. Full screen is hit or miss but otherwise you should find solace there.

There's a tutorial on how to get it working in one of the sections Here, you need root but it works.

There are several threads that discuss getting flash to work on a different browser but I have yet to see anything remotely resembling a possibility of flash working in the stock browser. Unless you can provide a link to this so called tutorial, I believe you may have mistaken it for one of these:

Since you are using 0.609, look in .609 thread about video problems that need to be resolved, most likey the above method was for the earlier version, so test on 6.07 if it works for you.

The OP mentioned "there's not much compatible gapps for 6.0".
I was trying to help with options, I didn't mean to downplay or undermine his efforts.
I see your point though.
Sorry if I offended anyone, that wasn't my intention.
@lbaty, no problem. We're all learning here.

If you'll unzip the gapps and look at the g.prop file you'll see this is actually a slim gapps (see screenshot).
This is not the first time that @Bobbi lim takes credit for things he didn't do, for example his ROMs optimization which he claim are something unique he invented and he refuse to share is actually an init.d nitro mod which he refused to give credit and when confronted he gets angry...

12. Using the work of others.
If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. If this fails, you may then contact a Moderator and provide clear evidence that the work was created by you.
Convincing evidence will result in the copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence that it was you who created the work, then in the spirit of sharing, all work will remain posted on the forums.
As an addition, developers have the right to hold exclusivity over their work for as long as it is deemed necessary by that developer. However, if the work is claimed as exclusive, it must remain as such. No selective sharing will be allowed (ie, allowing certain people to use it and not others). If the developer decides to start sharing the work with others, the work automatically becomes available for all to use, albeit with the relevant credit displayed.
When permission has already been given, unless there is a very valid reason, it cannot be revoked (same applies to major updates on the work). Under that same premise, permissions cannot be denied unless the work is exclusive or under extreme circumstances.
In plain English: If you want to keep your work exclusive, go for it. However, if you are going to share your work, do it fairly.
Reposted content, derivative or maintaned works based on that of former or banned members may be removed at our discretion.
These rules apply to all software posted on XDA (including but not limited to ROMs, RUUs, apps, games, kernels, themes, icons, etc) unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/development/rom-echoerom-v4-redemption-t3424993
MM Sprint Modular EchoeRom v3.2
First of all i didn't meant to do wrong, and if i did, i apologize to the developers and XDA, i tried to do something good but went to be misinterpreted. All credits to the respective developers on each item. This can be considered a Modular ROM, why? You take what you like, you leavewhat you hate. Also this way i respect the download count of all the other developers and at the same time if you come to install the rom let's say next month, you probably will get updated mods by that time. MM 6.0.1 is a little nasty when you pack so many mods, doing them one at a time can guarantee more stability. Take it or leave it

I'm not a mod here but I don't like what i'm seeing. There's absolutely zero information about the ROM and for the users here at XDa that are unaware, Echoe rom website has been back and forth on who they allow to view their forums and access their download links, etc. The only way this ROM and it's links can be seen and downloaded is if the Echoe site un-restricts that thread specifically. this also means that other areas of their site will still remain restricted only to those who have registered and have been approved to view their forums. I understand completely why the Echoe team takes this approach but as it is right now this ROM thread is a poor attempt to attract attention to that site and I vote to shut this thread down in it's tracks unless full access and complete rom details are given here in this thread. I am disappointed in this to be quite honest.

There is a direct conflict of interest between this site and Echoe site. May I ask how come you can't host the rom and links here at XDA and an independent file hosting service outside of Echoe website? What's holding you to the Echoe site where access is restricted to select members? Especially since the base rom originated here at XDA on my behalf. Was this rom's mods, etc developed by other people at Echoe team other than yourself and myself as being the creator of the base rom? I don't get the reason for the "exclusivity" when the fact is the rom is not exclusive in no way shape or form other than a custom logo image added to the rom's ui. All mods and additional features such as ROM control, etc originated here at XDA by developers. So again... this is not something i can proudly support because it clearly contradicts and "takes" ideas and creations by XDA developrs and attempts to make it "exclusive" at the Echoe website. I'm only bringing up the obvious and i personally stand for and represent the best interest of XDA. Please reconsider these things.

I agree to this, there is no need to host the rom on a secondary site, plus they only allow certain users over at echoe.

Android 7.1.1 is out now from a developer.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767121311
*If you have already flashed cm14*
Install the zip file.
Reboot into recovery.
Flash the zip file.
Reboot the system.
Now you can experience Android 7.1.1
Check the development threads below, CM 14.1 has been around for some days already.
I guess u r not allowed to share links just like that. Further ashwin is already sharing his work in original development thread. Request admin to delete the thread

It's a file with 460+ downloads, you didn't think that it'll already be on active development stage on the forums ?
Nice try but sorry. Reported.
