Picture Messaging

I'm a newby, and I was able to change the OS on my T-Mobile Wing (running 6.1 with I guess an Open Touch rom). The only problem that I've been having is that I am NEVER able to send or receive picture (MMS) messages? Anyone know about this problem, or can help? Any kind of help would be appreciated!

Recieving blank txt messages

I upgraded to haykuros 6.0r1 rom today and did a few mods to it listed below. I noticed today that when i receive a txt message it is blank. My friends are receiving my with no issues. Anyone have any ideas? I did a wipe after installing rom being that I was running JF1.51 rom before.
Mods
1) Ported G camera app to maintain functionality with some apps, and removed HTC camera and gallery
2) new HTC IME from haykuro
3) replaced Dialer to remove Chinese char from dialer
4) Launcher from Dudes to fix landscap bug

Could be a locale issue. I know when I send written-Chinese to phones that don't support it, they see blank text.

I don't think it is a local thing being I have it set to English and all I can read emails fine. Just can't see txt. The weird thing I noticed lastnight is that my led keeps blinking after i get a txt msg even after i go into check it.

does anyone know if there are any libaries needed for SMS. I looked in /system/lib and nothing really poped out.

[Q] MMS and ChompSMS and AmeriCanDroid

I'm using AmeriCanDroid (latest release) and ChompSMS.
I am not able to receive any of my friend's MMS messages. It tells me there is a resolution or size limit issue.
Anybody facing this problem? Or should I go back and stick with stock Messaging?

It has nothing to do with the mms app. It has to with your apn...Go to your settings...wireless network....mobile networks....access points names...and check one of them and restart your phone...go back to see that the box you checked is still checked then restart your phone again...send a pic message to yourself and if you get it your good to go

Problem to download the MMS Picture

First off all, i use this NAND Rom for my HTC HD2 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434860
I have a big problem. So i got yesterday a important MMS, but i'm unable to open the picture or to download them.. I got the Message and if i press the "download" Button there comes only an error or a sentence who said that the picture is loading.. but it isn't loading. I think the problem comes not from my provider.

Is there a possibility to get this Picture on an other way, perhabe with back ups or an app?!

You could try downloading Handscent from the Play store for free and using it as the default messaging handler. Before it I ran into tons of problems with MMS.

[Q] Not receiving MMS images

I am using Textra on my SGS4 and have been for a while now...
I have not had a problem receiving MMS until now. All of the sudden I get a message that I can't download a picture on Textra and when I do receive it, it is a blank black square and I can't even see it.
I have images auto-download to my Downloads folder and it shows up fine but when I tap it to open the photo, it shows a broken image.
All of the people I get MMS from are iPhone users. I finally had them send it to my on email and the image came to be over 2MB.
I have also tried default sms app, Hangouts, and Hello sms to see if it was just Textra, it's not..
APN checks out normal for AT&T, rooted, 4.2.2, I377UCUAMF3
(I also went to AT&T to see if they could do something about it but as soon as I told them I rooted they told me to basically leave... Nice)
Let me know if you need any more information to help get this solved.

I'd check for any MMS settings in textra. I know EvolveSMS had an option to intercept MMS and not let it go to the stock messenger and it never worked. Also try turning off auto download if it's on, since that can cause issues too.
