Great news if anyone is interested. I can deliver a Touch HD anywhere in continental US with shipping and insurance for $775.00. Paypal is the only payment method I would like to accept for protection of everyone. This is my way of contributing to this incredible website that has helped me so much over the last couple of years. I need 48 more people.
What's the ETA?
Latest update I have is last week of Nov. They are not getting to the UK till after the 20th.
Any chance of shipping to Australia? If so, will probably take 2.
I would prefer not to because I dont believe paypal verifies outside US. If you give me your address I can see about how much shipping would be.

As far as I knew they do. We have eBay Australia and PayPal is part of them now. I do all of my transactions through PayPal. Shipping would be to North Sydney, 2060, Australia. I now also have another friend thinking about getting one. So it could be 3 phones.
Also, no offence but how can you guarantee us that this is genuine?
Would you consider putting it up on Ebay? There's a rebate for buyers going on now, it's at 25% off today (it changes). You have to list it as Buy it Now and use Paypal. I assume you will add a few bucks to the price for listing fees etc.. but it would still cost us clost to $200 less, which would be a great deal, and you will get more people buying it.
Yeah I'd do eBay...
great!! on ebay then
let us know when you have posted on ebay.. even i will be interested..
Please make it a "buy it now" listing or "fixed price" listing, because the coupon is only applicable to those..
thanks.
i called Expansys and mobilecityonline and they have ebay accounts as well and are ready to put it on ebay.. will post more update when i call them tomorrow in the morning..
I'm also game for a Ebay with that discount! Count me in for "one".

Wow -- keep us updated on how to take advantage of this once it is up.
This phone will be PERFECT if they develop a radio for US 3G bands. Hopefully someone here will help with that.
Yeah guys I think I can do ebay but I did not want to since I dont have a solid delivery date yet. In fact no one in the US has yet. I also was really not trying to make much money on these, it was more to just get the devices to the users of this site.ou are more then welcome to contact me via phone or email if you have any questions. I normally do not do end user sales but thought I would try to save you guys some bucks since the markup on this device is pretty big. Let me look into ebay and see if it works out for me.

Dont hold your breath on 3G for us here in the US. Everything I have heard says it is a hardware issue not something that can be fixed with a radio rom or anything like that. But then again no one knows for sure right now. The p3600 was released without gps and then an update enabled the gps so it may be possible. We can keep our fingers crossed.
I live in NJ and I have decided to get this device whenever it is available. So please update on the situation in this post.
eBay or not, I'm still in.
Maybe edit the first post and keep a list of names as you get them and how many each person will be buying so we can see how far to go till we get enough buyers.
Put me down for one now, will confirm later whether I will take more than 1.

I live in Sydney too, and would join in this and make it four in Sydney. However, I will be visiting Singapore in early December, and might be able to get one there, I hope.
So when does the ebay discount code expire? OK let me see how we can do this ebay listing. Maybe a private auction only open to xda members. I need someone to help me keep track of how many people in the us and how many outside. Thanks for everyone willing to help me with the setup of ebay. Hopefully we can get the 50 that we need and then get start cooking and modding the newest toy from hTC.
I wouldn't hold your breath for a US 3G radio rom. If HTC doesn't release a US 3G version (which they said they won't), there simply won't be a US 3G radio rom -- and don't go around mixing roms from other devices!
As for the eBay discount, it's a Microsoft Live cashback promotion. It changes between 10%-30%, but there's no telling what it will be on any given day. A quick google will point you in the right direction.
Also, as fair warning, beware of eBay and Paypal's fees. Anything over US$500 and a decent chunk will get taken out.

I'm taking shipping from US to Canada at my expense won't be a problem...
I have let my wife know I want this device...now that I have a hard dollar figure, let me throw down my suck-up over the weekend. Keep me in mind, and reach via PM if necessary. I am 85% sure we will be purchasing at least one unit (maybe two...wife and I both have the Raphael).
Thanks
Guys, i found these 2 sites selling the unlocked note for good prices, but i am not sure abt these websites, does any1 have any experience ?? please help me
http://www.bestnydepot.com/samsung-galaxy-note-gt-n7000.html
http://electroprise.com/samsung-galaxy-note-gt-n7000-gsm-hsdpa-quadband-unlocked-p-2911.html
I don't know anything about them but they both have physical locations in nyc for pickup (they're both in the Empire State Building so I wonder if they are affiliated).
That's a pretty good deal. Walk in with cash and you only pay them if it is legit. Might be popping by next time I'm in town.
Problem is i live in charlotte ... have to see if i could get some1 to buy it for me.
It would be gr8 if someone in NY can help me out with this, i can pay for the shipping to charlotte.
both are run by same people and both don't have them in stock. The next shipment they will get is like 30 phones in 3 weeks. I am sure they already have a huge list of orders but it seems, majority will not see a phone in a long time. I have a feeling, no body will get a phone from them. They are fake.
They both show Availability: In stock for me, weird how are you sure they are not in stock?
I called them as well and as live in newyork I told them I would like to visit them for pickup. but they say that dont have the stock now. I have quit my hope of getting gnote from them.
oO.. thanks man.. bogus then. thank goodness did not order.. best will get from handtec
Stay the HELL AWAY from those people!
I to saw the amazing prices BUT after doing some basic research - look around the web, just Google them and you'll find out. I, at first hurried to grrab that price, finally caught them yanking my chain.
If you call and ask questions after a while they don't even bother to pick up the phone - however - if you call from a different phone number they'll immediately answer. Once they recognize your voice they promptly hang up and your left talking to air before you realize you've been had!
Presently the best deal is at L2D2.com. They were somewhere in the neighborhood of $753 or so last time I read a post, which was yesterday. They also sell quite a bit of them - so I'm told - so having them in stock may be an issue. If you can wait it out that seems to be the best deal at the moment. You might want to check at Clove.co.uk too. It's around the same price, they have stock, and you get a cool flip-over case with it for free.
Good luck though and happy hunting!
Oh thanks, but yea regarding the cheap price.. handtec is the cheapest and they are quite reputed too.
I ordered mine from TechnoTradingHouse. It shipped today, free shipping.
$745
I spoke to one of the owners before it shipped. They seem to be trying really hard to build a good reputation (and they already carry a good one). I'd recommend them.

Here a week or so ago when I was looking for resellers in the US and ran across Technotradinghouse selling the Note on eBay I e-mailed them because I wanted to know how the Samsung warranty worked purchased through them and I was basically told that buyers are on their own to get warranty from Samsung and that they don't provide the warranty directly.
So that means if you want to cover your device your stuck paying for a third party insurer claim since the Galaxy Note imports have no US warranty and with the cost of a 2 year claim you could of just ordered from an authorized reseller like Handtec or Expansys-USA and gotten the 2 year Samsung coverage through them at no extra cost.
Handtec is also now only $710 shipped so unless someone can find a reputable US reseller selling the Note for $650 or less I see no point in buying an import from anywhere else if your in the USA.

This is good advice.
I am putting Square Trade on it, $124 for drops, spills, and accidental damage.
People need to evaluate the Samsung warranty + import fees and decide what's best for them.

Yeah the additional accidental damage coverage may be important for some if your prone to accidents. But if your in the US there are no import fees for buying the Note from Handtec.

As some of you know i started a thread about possibly selling my OG for an infinity. I had someone who wanted to buy it off me for 250.
Well as i was reading through the infinity forums for product reviews i stumbled on a post about a guy that got best buy to honor a price match for random company called surefireshops.com for.... wait for it... 347.49! So i gave it a try and couldn't believe best buy actually did it!
So in the end , if you include the money i got from the guy who wanted my OG tablet, i got a brand new infinity with keyboard for a little over 260 dollars. If you are thinking about upgrading, DO IT! This tablet is amazing and for that price, seriously its a no brainer!

Lol no worries i was like "why is this guy ragging on me, im just trying to spread some awesome deals". Yea i was skeptical about it at first when i saw that the poster said it had worked. But once he provided a picture of his receipt with the price match details the flood gates opened and everyone started going to best buy. Honestly i would not be able to afford the infinity without the deal. Went from paying close to 700 to paying 260....Not bad

Great deal but let's be clear you paid 350 for the tab. The fact that you sold your used tf101 really doesn't come into the picture as far as the deal goes.

Well im writing to you on the TF101 forum. Which means, if im not mistaken, most of the users on here own a tf101. Im also posting of upgrading from a tf101 to the infinity. So im assuming that you will be selling your tf101 to help purchase the infinity. So technically everyone on here will pay roughly around the same amount if they use the same price match ans sell their OG transformer for a decent price.

I'm surprised Best Buy would do that, since Best Buy does not match the prices of Internet-only retailers. nor do they match the website prices of their local retail competitors' stores.
Best Buy Puerto Rico stores have their own store price guarantee.
All other stores are not supposed to match internet-only retailers.
Whatever manager in that particular store approved that, he/she will most likely be fired.
They will most certainly take a huge hit to their bottom line if that particular store is doing it excessively.
No wonder Best Buy is in dire straits.

Probably not. Its up to the discretion of each individual manager at a particular best buy. If they feel that they will benefit from giving that particular customer the discount in order to keep their business and also not allow a competitor to have the sale, they will most likely do it. Also i dont know what best you shop at, but the ones where i live always price match online retailers.

I was a retail manager for 10 years.
As far as hardware sales go, the profit margin is quite thin.
Selling the tablet at retail, there's a 5 to 6 % profit margin at best.
Retailers make their profit on extended warranties and accessories, not hardware sales.
If a consumer came in with such a price match, and is willing to purchase an extended warranty, i could possibly, although highly unlikely, see the sale going through.
True, the ultimate decision lies with the store manager, as long as the manager's decision is within Best Buy's price matching policy.
In this case, it is not.

No. Best Buy does not match the prices of Internet-only retailers or the website prices of our local retail competitors' stores.

Let me know if you find a clause in there where it states "matching Internet-only retailer's pricing is at a store manager's discretion".
Bottom line, the store manager in the Best Buy you frequent is not abiding by Best Buy's price matching policy.
Period.
Here's a scenario of discretionary decision-making by a Best Buy store manager, still within Best Buy's price matching policy:
Say you went to PC Richard and they had a one day sale on the tablet.
50 dollars less than your local Best Buy down the street.
The PC Richard store manager:
"Sorry sir, we are sold out. First come first serve. While quantities last.
Can i interest you in anything else? No? Ok, have a good day, sir"
So you walk down the street to your local Best Buy with your PC Richard Sunday ad, requesting a price match.
The store manager gets on the phone with one of the PC Richard's store managers.
After a brief conversation, he hangs up the phone and tells you:
"Sir, they are out of stock. I will not match this price."
You explain, with frustration and wild abandon to the manager:
"But, but, I shop here all the time, i'm a regular customer, please i don't have enough money", and blah, blah, blah.
Then the store manager, at his discretion, decides to price match PC Richard's price to hold on to you as a regular customer.
Although the store is not making its 5 to 6 % profit, it is still making a small profit, and retains you as a loyal customer, and the store manager is following the price matching policy.
Anyone who would give a product away at that price, not make a profit, without a thorough investigation of legitimacy and availability of the product at the online retailer, is a blithering idiot, and in the long run, will either be written up, suspended, demoted or lose their job when the store's P & L statement is reviewed by Best Buy Corporate.
I don't know what Best buy you shop at either, but I shop at Best Buy in Manhattan, and i'm a Premier Silver member.
If i brought in that particular price match, i would be laughed at, and rightfully so.
As far as i know, most businesses are in business to make money, not lose it.

Best Buy isn't making a ton of money. They are losing billions. Their 2Q profit dropped 90% and their stock tumbled to a 9 year low.
Best Buy lost $1.7 billion/$4.89 per share, for the period ending March 3.

As i simply stated in my first reply, i'm surprised Best Buy would honor such a price match, since it goes against their policy, they are suffering a tremendous loss, and it is one of the reasons the company is having serious financial issues.
That is all. Nothing more to it.

If so, perhaps you should take a basic reading comprehension course.

Pierrekid, you might want to sit down. You got owned pretty hard. Rofl.
So I was about to hit the button on a pre-order from NegriElectronics for my Unlocked T-Mobile Note 3. I'm gonna buy it from them anyway cause it is about $100 cheaper than getting it from T-Mobile. But as I was browsing their twitter feed for any discounts, I saw that they had updated their warranty (Negricare) plans. I wasn't going to get on originally because I thought $100 down plus a $75 deductible was kinda high, but now that they are cheaper ($59 plus $50 deductible), I wonder if it's worth it now. It still covers accidental damage plus water, manufacturer's defects, etc. I have never broke my phone (though I have dropped it once or twice), but it's always when you think you are safe that crap happens. If anything happened to my delicious Note 3, I would be so depressed.
They just announced these changes today, so I don't know if anyone has had a chance to discuss this yet. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Upfront costs mean nothing if you have claim issues down the road. It's not "Negri" insurance it's offered by a third party under Negri's name. Read the T&C to find out who's behind it and see what their AM Best rating is. Also do a Google search to see what people's claims experience have been with the third party. I've had two devices totaled and received $1, 500 in compensation in a week for both claims from SquareTrade no questions asked. Personally, I'd stick to what I know. Good luck.

Thank you for your interest. We simply offer the plans to provide the means to protect your purchase. We have recently partnered with Mack Warranty to back our NegriCare plans. Mack provides exceptional service throughout the claim, which is the #1 reason we chose them. We were able to negotiate costs with them to keep prices down for our customers. The plans are worth it, even if you don't need to file a claim - it's the 'peace of mind that' is worth the money down.
You're likely to find positive and negative reviews for all warranty/protection plan providers out there. It's best to purchase your plan from a trusted company, and what better company than the one that will sell you your device.

How is it $100 cheaper from Negri than it is from T-Mobile? Did you see something I'm missing?
Sent from my Incognegro Jedi-Powered Note 2
After reading reports of how poorly Negri has treated customers who have ordered the T-Mobile version thus far, I would think twice about ordering from them.

I was wondering this too. Based on your image, NE is only $18.50 less than TMo. However, if the OP is also including the tax, then yes - NE is a lot cheaper. According to NE's FAQ about taxes collected, they only collect tax for orders that are shipped to the state of Nevada. I am in CA, so this will be a LOT cheaper for me through NE, since CA's tax is so high.
However, I am not jumping on the Note 3 just yet, until the actual true specs of the Nexus 5 are announced.
Yeah tax is the big killer in buying from the carrier. The savings from NE are worth it as long as they ship tomorrow as on their site. If they push the date later (like the AT&T version was to the 10th), I'll probably cancel and just pick it up locally.

Yeah, it's not just the tax, it's also the fact that I used a coupon code (NE20OFFCART) and got another $20 off as well as free shipping. So my total came to $668. T-Mobile with tax would probably be about $762. So that's why I said $100 cheaper, give or take.

I was toying with ordering the T-Mobile model from them but don't think I will now.

Yeah, to be honest with you, i'm kinda on Negri's side with this one. The main post (the one with the chat and email logs) that criticize Negri show that the guy was complaining about them not shipping as early as the 19th of September. Correct me if i'm wrong, but all of the carriers were saying October 1st-4th for availability. Negri had the expected ship date as 10-3, so i'm not sure what the guy was complaining about.
Now, they have changed the ship date to 10-10, but again, i'm not gonna go crazy because of this. I am saving almost $100 dollars after all. And with all the cancelled pre-orders, I might just get it earlier. lol/jk
Is it odd that official news said that Samsung wasn't going to release 16Gb versions, but Negri has them listed?
Also, from the Q&A:
Thank you for contacting Negri Electronics. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to browse our site and take interest in our units. This unit will not support 4G on T-Mobiles network. This unit will only support 2G speeds on T-Mobile. This unit has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. Thank you and have a nice day.

I think I'm glad I spent the other $90 just to cozy up with Tmo. I like that they have iPhone users (and others) entirely dependent on them for support, hardware included, because I get that, too, not because I need it, but because USB ports, power buttons and other main board & plastic parts just don't last that long.
do we have confirmation that the tmob unit from negri has an unlocked bootloader and will work on att lte?

Hmmm... good point lol. I think he was more pissed off at the perceived threat to delay his shipment because he complained to Google. But you make a fair point -- good catch.
Regardless, you can see several people canceled their pre-orders because of unreliable estimated ship dates and lack of customer service. I've given up dealing with online outlets because of similar hitches with another seller (not Negri) when buying my OG Note. It's left me gun shy lol.

Wait What?!?!?!
There's no way that that is correct. It's a branded T-Mobile device (you can see it in the pic of the back cover). In addition, the heading of the listing says "Samsung Galaxy Note 3 32GB LTE (T-Mobile) (Unlocked)". Since it has LTE (T-Mobile) in the heading, I'm pretty sure it is LTE capable.
Also, the version that PCMag reviewed here (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2424853,00.asp) was a T-Mobile version, and it was the Snapdragon 800 version of the Note 3. They said that it was using T-Mobile LTE. Negri CSR probably just didn't know what they were talking about or made a simple mistake. There are two versions of this phone after all.

Thank you for your note. We post "estimated" shipping date for this reason. They are estimated and we are not 100% exact on when they will arrive. If you called around to 40 different T-Mobile stores they would have less info than we provide. Our customer service isn't really "lacking" per-say, it's there, and we are doing our best to handle every request. The fact that some customers are angry with us isn't because of our customer service, it's because of the delay of their product. Customers reach out to us in the worst way, demanding a refund, threatening - however, we do all we can to keep the customer calm, respect their reasoning behind the aggression and try to settle them the best we can. Some have even threatened us if we didn't cancel their order - when they were never charged to begin with. It's a tough job, and no one is perfect, but don't give up on Online stores because of that. Give Negri a chance. The T-Mobile Note 3 is delayed, it happens. We don't do this intentionally - there is absolutely no benefit to it. Zero.
Everything we do is above board, honest and transparent. That's the way this company will always operate while it's under my command.

The intention was not to delay his shipment, it was about the resolution. If we could not reach a resolution it would affect his order of course, but the issue at hand is that since a claim was filed with Google, it is handled by an escalated department and not regular NegriCare.
We just hope that all customers understand that it's 100% better to come to us first, than file a claim. The claim form even says to contact us first - but this customer didn't feel that applied to him. Oh well. We deal with things as they come, and with the best possible mindset. We can't please everyone, but we can do our best to try. Sometimes that matters most.

Hi!
I am from India. I've been wanting to buy the Note 3. Recently I came across this seller on eBay who is selling Note 3 phones for almost 25% less! He says that he imports the phones directly from Vietnam and so he can afford that discount. He also offered an additional 10% discount, if I don't purchase via eBay and deal directly with him. For that, I'll have to first deposit the money in his bank account and he would then order it from Vietnam, which would directly reach me in 4-5 days.
I'm unable to understand this whole process. Can it be true? Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone at 25% off?! Just because he's importing it from Vietnam.
He said that I'll get company warranty, the box will be seal packed, he'll replace or refund within 7 days and the phone is the Indian version. So I would get the updates also.
What should I do? It is a steal deal for sure. But is it trustworthy? Also, is the quality of phones manufactured in Vietnam as good as the Korean make? Please help!
Definitely not trustworthy! Why would a seller ask you to deposit money into his bank account first? And even if it were delivered to you, it might be a clone
N9005 NH1 32GB Stock debloated rooted ROM
Please deposit some money in my bank account, and I'll send you a phone. Yours sincerely, Mr. Complete Stranger.
You wouldn't do that, would you? So why even contemplate doing it with this guy??

If it sounds to good to be true, might be a scam ino. In my country, this is one of the most recognized way to scam people.
Sounds like a classical scam to me. Don't risk it.
If you do go ahead, maybe you can consider donating to my Nigerian brother's account. He's a prince, but can't withdraw funds until his account is activated from abroad
great to see helpful responses
hi people!
many many thanks for your responses. indeed, few of them made me look stupid. but then that's cool. how else would i learn if it were not for good folks like you all.
btw, for the concerned ones, i've not done any transaction yet and i don't plan to do it either! what's more - the listing was removed or taken off the very next day. quite surprising.
:good:
thanks again!
mihir.
Good. It was definitely dodgy.
Personally, for anything that costs as much as a Note 3 or similar, I'd never, ever buy over the net. Hands on is never 100% foolproof, but the odds are way better than buying blind.
