Great news if anyone is interested. I can deliver a Touch HD anywhere in continental US with shipping and insurance for $775.00. Paypal is the only payment method I would like to accept for protection of everyone. This is my way of contributing to this incredible website that has helped me so much over the last couple of years. I need 48 more people.
What's the ETA?
Latest update I have is last week of Nov. They are not getting to the UK till after the 20th.
Any chance of shipping to Australia? If so, will probably take 2.
I would prefer not to because I dont believe paypal verifies outside US. If you give me your address I can see about how much shipping would be.

As far as I knew they do. We have eBay Australia and PayPal is part of them now. I do all of my transactions through PayPal. Shipping would be to North Sydney, 2060, Australia. I now also have another friend thinking about getting one. So it could be 3 phones.
Also, no offence but how can you guarantee us that this is genuine?
Would you consider putting it up on Ebay? There's a rebate for buyers going on now, it's at 25% off today (it changes). You have to list it as Buy it Now and use Paypal. I assume you will add a few bucks to the price for listing fees etc.. but it would still cost us clost to $200 less, which would be a great deal, and you will get more people buying it.
Yeah I'd do eBay...
great!! on ebay then
let us know when you have posted on ebay.. even i will be interested..
Please make it a "buy it now" listing or "fixed price" listing, because the coupon is only applicable to those..
thanks.
i called Expansys and mobilecityonline and they have ebay accounts as well and are ready to put it on ebay.. will post more update when i call them tomorrow in the morning..
I'm also game for a Ebay with that discount! Count me in for "one".

Wow -- keep us updated on how to take advantage of this once it is up.
This phone will be PERFECT if they develop a radio for US 3G bands. Hopefully someone here will help with that.
Yeah guys I think I can do ebay but I did not want to since I dont have a solid delivery date yet. In fact no one in the US has yet. I also was really not trying to make much money on these, it was more to just get the devices to the users of this site.ou are more then welcome to contact me via phone or email if you have any questions. I normally do not do end user sales but thought I would try to save you guys some bucks since the markup on this device is pretty big. Let me look into ebay and see if it works out for me.

Dont hold your breath on 3G for us here in the US. Everything I have heard says it is a hardware issue not something that can be fixed with a radio rom or anything like that. But then again no one knows for sure right now. The p3600 was released without gps and then an update enabled the gps so it may be possible. We can keep our fingers crossed.
I live in NJ and I have decided to get this device whenever it is available. So please update on the situation in this post.
eBay or not, I'm still in.
Maybe edit the first post and keep a list of names as you get them and how many each person will be buying so we can see how far to go till we get enough buyers.
Put me down for one now, will confirm later whether I will take more than 1.

I live in Sydney too, and would join in this and make it four in Sydney. However, I will be visiting Singapore in early December, and might be able to get one there, I hope.
So when does the ebay discount code expire? OK let me see how we can do this ebay listing. Maybe a private auction only open to xda members. I need someone to help me keep track of how many people in the us and how many outside. Thanks for everyone willing to help me with the setup of ebay. Hopefully we can get the 50 that we need and then get start cooking and modding the newest toy from hTC.
I wouldn't hold your breath for a US 3G radio rom. If HTC doesn't release a US 3G version (which they said they won't), there simply won't be a US 3G radio rom -- and don't go around mixing roms from other devices!
As for the eBay discount, it's a Microsoft Live cashback promotion. It changes between 10%-30%, but there's no telling what it will be on any given day. A quick google will point you in the right direction.
Also, as fair warning, beware of eBay and Paypal's fees. Anything over US$500 and a decent chunk will get taken out.

Thanks, I will decide in November.
I'm taking shipping from US to Canada at my expense won't be a problem...
I have let my wife know I want this device...now that I have a hard dollar figure, let me throw down my suck-up over the weekend. Keep me in mind, and reach via PM if necessary. I am 85% sure we will be purchasing at least one unit (maybe two...wife and I both have the Raphael).
Thanks

Hi All,
I am interesting to buy the HTC HD2, now I was looking over the internrt and I found some realy cheap deals, but I am not sure if those devices are a real HTC HD2, some of them I know for fact that they are from Chaina...
Well what I have in mind that we can organizew as a group and get a good deal with one of the HTC providers.
What I suggest that we will buy devices as one group.
What I think is the best way that every one will pay by credit\paypa\google to the provider, but we will pay as a group only after we will close a good deal, the provider will create an invoice for payment, every one will pay for his own device with his own shipment address.
I didn't start to bargen with providers\sellers, and I will start if we will enotgh people.
If you are a seller\provider and want to give us a good deal please add your comments.
If you know a seller - the same.
Now if you want to participate, please add your comment, in the begining we will see how many people want to buy then it will be easier to find a deal, for example, if we will buy 10 devices the price will be arround 600$ and if we will buy 20 devices the proce will be ~400$ per device.
Guys I am talking about devices with warnties from HTC not a fake one that you can find in 200$...
Sorry for my english....
seems nice idea
It does seem like an excellent idea in principle, but in practice any supplier providing group purchasing would want to deal with one purchaser only.
That would then mean one individual in the group having to bear the cost and the risk of anyone dropping out of the group after committing to purchase. I can't see too many people volunteering for that.
I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but it would require a high degree of co-operation and trust.
Does that even work?

I have done this before, if we will organize 20-30 people I think that every seller will work with us.
The committing will be done - or let's say this way, the supplier will charge and send the devices only if we will meet the agreement, I guess we can only try.
This is a big community, and I hope that togethre we can arange a good price for unlock devices...
Who is the provider of the phones? Do you know already?
What if the customers live in different countries? How does that work?
Ummm... 20 units for ~$400 each? I think this may be highly optomistic as I'm pretty sure most of the distributors don't get it that low.
If you have a reliable source who can, and is willing to supply that I'll take the risk and buy 20 myself to help get things going!
seems like a good idea. was thinking about the same thing before i got mine.
I was able to bargain my unit for $850 including shipping from 2 sellers on ebay (they were selling it for over $900). then i bought it from one. They might offer better price for group purchase. I also got 10% bing cashback, 4% ebay cashback and 3% mrrebates cashback bringing down my price to $700. fedex is delivering my unit today. let me know if you want me to check with the sellers..

I don't know yet, I will start to work on it this week, I will coontact the follwoing:
http://www.google.com/products?q=htc+hd2&aq=f
As I said in the first post, the seller will send each device to different location, we will pay differently for the shiping according to the location of every one that will buy the device.
it's really a bad ideal.
Hoping, though seems to be quite impossible. Providers or sellers might help if ONLY there is benefit for them which is none.
Hahaha where did you find this offer alibaba.xxx or something similar ? all those companies from china are SCAMMERS please stay away!
BTW. Did they promise any handsets gratis?
sounds like a dream.
i work at a shop where we sell HD2.
i know our price that we pay.
and its far more then 400$.
we didnt order 50... we order 700.
so forget about that idea.
It is about $700 on Amazon and the best price being $675. Plus the shipping cost.
Does anyone have better offers?

I am planning to get these phones for a cheaper price and ship it worldwide, so am taking in everyones opinion.
Why not buy the T9193? It's about the same price, as the T8585, PLUS you can get 3G Speeds, on other networks, like AT&T, with it.
Am not buying them for personal use.
Its for selling at a better price than Amazon and other sites
You'd never be able to expect as much as a retail store would. After all with a retail store there is a comeback for warranty etc.
I think your main thing is going to be beating T-Mobile's price, as this is where many US users are getting their's.
I paid $650 CDN.

So I was about to hit the button on a pre-order from NegriElectronics for my Unlocked T-Mobile Note 3. I'm gonna buy it from them anyway cause it is about $100 cheaper than getting it from T-Mobile. But as I was browsing their twitter feed for any discounts, I saw that they had updated their warranty (Negricare) plans. I wasn't going to get on originally because I thought $100 down plus a $75 deductible was kinda high, but now that they are cheaper ($59 plus $50 deductible), I wonder if it's worth it now. It still covers accidental damage plus water, manufacturer's defects, etc. I have never broke my phone (though I have dropped it once or twice), but it's always when you think you are safe that crap happens. If anything happened to my delicious Note 3, I would be so depressed.
They just announced these changes today, so I don't know if anyone has had a chance to discuss this yet. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Upfront costs mean nothing if you have claim issues down the road. It's not "Negri" insurance it's offered by a third party under Negri's name. Read the T&C to find out who's behind it and see what their AM Best rating is. Also do a Google search to see what people's claims experience have been with the third party. I've had two devices totaled and received $1, 500 in compensation in a week for both claims from SquareTrade no questions asked. Personally, I'd stick to what I know. Good luck.

Thank you for your interest. We simply offer the plans to provide the means to protect your purchase. We have recently partnered with Mack Warranty to back our NegriCare plans. Mack provides exceptional service throughout the claim, which is the #1 reason we chose them. We were able to negotiate costs with them to keep prices down for our customers. The plans are worth it, even if you don't need to file a claim - it's the 'peace of mind that' is worth the money down.
You're likely to find positive and negative reviews for all warranty/protection plan providers out there. It's best to purchase your plan from a trusted company, and what better company than the one that will sell you your device.
We hope to you enjoyed your shopping experience, and if you have any questions please visit our site. below are some useful links.

How is it $100 cheaper from Negri than it is from T-Mobile? Did you see something I'm missing?

I was wondering this too. Based on your image, NE is only $18.50 less than TMo. However, if the OP is also including the tax, then yes - NE is a lot cheaper. According to NE's FAQ about taxes collected, they only collect tax for orders that are shipped to the state of Nevada. I am in CA, so this will be a LOT cheaper for me through NE, since CA's tax is so high.
However, I am not jumping on the Note 3 just yet, until the actual true specs of the Nexus 5 are announced.
Yeah tax is the big killer in buying from the carrier. The savings from NE are worth it as long as they ship tomorrow as on their site. If they push the date later (like the AT&T version was to the 10th), I'll probably cancel and just pick it up locally.

Yeah, it's not just the tax, it's also the fact that I used a coupon code (NE20OFFCART) and got another $20 off as well as free shipping. So my total came to $668. T-Mobile with tax would probably be about $762. So that's why I said $100 cheaper, give or take.

Yeah, to be honest with you, i'm kinda on Negri's side with this one. The main post (the one with the chat and email logs) that criticize Negri show that the guy was complaining about them not shipping as early as the 19th of September. Correct me if i'm wrong, but all of the carriers were saying October 1st-4th for availability. Negri had the expected ship date as 10-3, so i'm not sure what the guy was complaining about.
Now, they have changed the ship date to 10-10, but again, i'm not gonna go crazy because of this. I am saving almost $100 dollars after all. And with all the cancelled pre-orders, I might just get it earlier. lol/jk
Is it odd that official news said that Samsung wasn't going to release 16Gb versions, but Negri has them listed?
Also, from the Q&A:
Thank you for contacting Negri Electronics. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to browse our site and take interest in our units. This unit will not support 4G on T-Mobiles network. This unit will only support 2G speeds on T-Mobile. This unit has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. Thank you and have a nice day.

I think I'm glad I spent the other $90 just to cozy up with Tmo. I like that they have iPhone users (and others) entirely dependent on them for support, hardware included, because I get that, too, not because I need it, but because USB ports, power buttons and other main board & plastic parts just don't last that long.
do we have confirmation that the tmob unit from negri has an unlocked bootloader and will work on att lte?

Hmmm... good point lol. I think he was more pissed off at the perceived threat to delay his shipment because he complained to Google. But you make a fair point -- good catch.
Regardless, you can see several people canceled their pre-orders because of unreliable estimated ship dates and lack of customer service. I've given up dealing with online outlets because of similar hitches with another seller (not Negri) when buying my OG Note. It's left me gun shy lol.

Wait What?!?!?!
There's no way that that is correct. It's a branded T-Mobile device (you can see it in the pic of the back cover). In addition, the heading of the listing says "Samsung Galaxy Note 3 32GB LTE (T-Mobile) (Unlocked)". Since it has LTE (T-Mobile) in the heading, I'm pretty sure it is LTE capable.
Also, the version that PCMag reviewed here (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2424853,00.asp) was a T-Mobile version, and it was the Snapdragon 800 version of the Note 3. They said that it was using T-Mobile LTE. Negri CSR probably just didn't know what they were talking about or made a simple mistake. There are two versions of this phone after all.

Thank you for your note. We post "estimated" shipping date for this reason. They are estimated and we are not 100% exact on when they will arrive. If you called around to 40 different T-Mobile stores they would have less info than we provide. Our customer service isn't really "lacking" per-say, it's there, and we are doing our best to handle every request. The fact that some customers are angry with us isn't because of our customer service, it's because of the delay of their product. Customers reach out to us in the worst way, demanding a refund, threatening - however, we do all we can to keep the customer calm, respect their reasoning behind the aggression and try to settle them the best we can. Some have even threatened us if we didn't cancel their order - when they were never charged to begin with. It's a tough job, and no one is perfect, but don't give up on Online stores because of that. Give Negri a chance. The T-Mobile Note 3 is delayed, it happens. We don't do this intentionally - there is absolutely no benefit to it. Zero.
Everything we do is above board, honest and transparent. That's the way this company will always operate while it's under my command.

The intention was not to delay his shipment, it was about the resolution. If we could not reach a resolution it would affect his order of course, but the issue at hand is that since a claim was filed with Google, it is handled by an escalated department and not regular NegriCare.
We just hope that all customers understand that it's 100% better to come to us first, than file a claim. The claim form even says to contact us first - but this customer didn't feel that applied to him. Oh well. We deal with things as they come, and with the best possible mindset. We can't please everyone, but we can do our best to try. Sometimes that matters most.

Clove sent me an email stating that if they get to 600 orders for the Z3 Compact before launch, they'll include a Roxfit case and Sony AN401 car charger free with every order.
If you're still in the market for this and haven't pulled the trigger yet, keep this in mind. Sounds like they have over 400 orders already, but there's only 10 days left!

Edit 2: As quickly as I did that, they updated their site. You'll see a general statement if you click on the Z3C, but here's a link to their blog with more details:

Wow - talk about making a good deal even better. I've put up a Reddit submission for it: http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/2gkf75/clove_offering_case_and_car_charger_if_they_hit/
Hopefully that'll get a bit of interest.

Yes indeed! I'm pretty excited to get the phone alone, but would certainly welcome some free accessories!
Thanks for all your information.
I pre-ordered. I recommend that North Americans use PayPal as a payment option - I tried a direct card payment and it failed. I seem to recall having issues with Clove and direct card payments in the past.
Now Handtec are saying that they're going to offer a guaranteed pre-order bundle. This is the start of a price/extras war I hope http://www.handtec.co.uk/sony-xperia-z3-compact-16gb-black-1288-5849.html

More likely it's your card issuer; they will decline an international charge to prevent fraud if you don't regularly make such purchases. After calling the bank and verifying that you did attempt the charge they will release the hold and payment will go through.
Edit: BTW, Handtec is matching the free accessories offer for all pre-orders, no minimum order limit.

Is there any way to get the green variant though? Seems Carphonewarehouse is the only one that sells it but they don't ship to the U.S. :/

I never get issuer referrals other than with Clove. It's consistent. I spend A LOT online including big-ticket travel etc. Anyway, it worked fine with PayPal, so again, that's what I recommend.

Yeah, my AMEX was declined, so I used it through PayPal as well. Good tip!
Just posted at RFD: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/clove-uk-z3-compact-d5803-500-usd-550-cdn-free-stuff-1556567/
My guess is that now that Handtec is offering an unspecified accessories bundle with "no strings attached" (e.g. no minimum pre-order qty), Clove is going to have to make good on that even if don't hit the 600 target. We'd never know if they really hit it or not, so it's easy for them to just say they've hit the mark.
Very true, it is very bold of them to throw that out there. Could put a bad taste in the mouth of everyone if they don't make good on this offer. This is my first ever international phone order, so I'm very hopeful of a smooth process in it.

Oh, Clove will definitely hit their mark, either in reality or make believe.
Seriously, does anyone honestly believe that they've sold 'exactly' 400 units as stated in the blog post (not 407, or maybe 386?), or that they will notify us immediately when they hit 600 units?
Their goal is to use the enticement of some free accessories to get the pre-order buyers to do a little advertising leg work for them. Nothing wrong with that so long as we call it what it is, and the accessories would be nice!
Handtec obviously had to ante up, just as they did by beating Clove's price drop by a small margin, and they took the option of making them available to all pre-orders, probably betting that they will receive some orders from people that want the sure thing.
In the Netherlands you get a Sony MDR-ZX750 headset (worth €150) 00 when pre-ordered, not mather where you buy.
Spoke to handtek other day regarding potential delivery date... Although he couldn't divulge.. He did accidently let off that they've sold 300 red z3c already... They must have clocked way over 600 on total.
There website now says expected 22nd September... Yes
Pre-ordered mine now from Clove. (I hope they don't shaft me on the offer)
I've ordered my Z3C through Clove, and would have done regardless of the accessories bundle. They are a customer focused company and deserve as much business as they can get in my opinion.
Rest assured they'll go above and beyond to make sure all pre-orders receive the accessories, even if they don't reach the target (unlikely).
Handtec Vs Clove
So is everyone buying through Clove or Handtec?
I've never purchased a phone online like this before, so please excuse my trepidation. What are the Pros and Cons of purchasing with each company?
Does anyone have any experience with either of these companies? Who would have better customer support for an International (South African) customer like me? Especially if something goes wrong.
Lastly, I imagine both companies are offering similar accessory bundles together with the purchase. Are there any known differences yet?
Thanks guys! Any input is greatly appreciated!
Im currently using a nexus 5. My screen is broken pretty badlyand and my headphone jack is failing. I really like the specs of the force/turbo. I'm on ATT so I would need to go force. I'd also like to get the force so I can root. But I'm haveing a hard time finding the phone on the market though. Is there anyone in the US that is using the force? If so where did you end up buying it from? Are you enjoying it?
You can get one from Mexico. I've got mine from UK because I went to EU for holidays. I'm really enjoying it. The best Android phone I ever had and the first one I'm using at is. No bl unlock, no root. Strange feeling
Usually I'm unlcoking and flashing custom rom max few days, max one month after purchase.
Did you order from the Motorola EU online store or did you buy it in person somewhere? I looked at the Mexico Motorola store today but it looks like they will only ship to Mexico. Need Google translator to confirm though.

I won it on ebay auction. Few shops from UK selling it too. Jaocagomez can help you to get one from Mexico.
I'm still in Europe (Budapest) on business trip and flying back to San Jose on February 6. Maybe you can order here and I can bring to you. Not sure is it good idea
Thanks, but I'd rather purchase it so it ships directly to me. No middle man hasels.
I did confirm Motorolas Mexico site will only ship to Mexico.
Hunting around I feel like the phone has not been released yet. I know its going to be released in India in February but from the news articals I read the phone was released in november, yet most webistes say preorder or coming soon. Did I miss something? Even some ebay listings reflect this. Unless you want to spend 900$+.

I ordered mine from Clove technologies in the UK
Thanks! I saw them before but didn't see an option to select US by just browsing the site. But I just tried checking out and there it was. They even have it listed for a very reasonable price.
A you wish. I wasn't sure should I offer you help or not, take responsibility, etc.
I saw one on swappa and another one on ebay, both USA sellers but prices was really bad. One from Ebay sold for $810!? Then I've checked sites from the link I posted and contacted them. If you're buying from USA then is without VAT but you're importing it in USA so you have to pay duty, tax and maybe stuck at border to get permission for importing uncertified device.
@BladeRunner could you share details how much you paid all together and did you have any problems at border. Would be really useful info for everyone.

I paid ~615 USD. It's been sitting at JFK International since the 21st, but I think that may be because of the Blizzard and a sunday rather than any issues with customs.

That's without VAT? Would be awesome if we can order phone from UK without VAT and do not pay anything else. Handtec representative told me opposite.

Yeah but it's hard to believe that you can just import without paying anything. Please keep us up to date.
I want to buy from clove store , please confirm is true if I can buy from UK???? I live in NY thanks
Thanks for looking into this so much guys!
With my gears a turning the past couple of days I think im going to hold off though. Id really like to buy straight from motorola. That way if I have any issues I can just deal with them directly. That and I gain the ability to cusomize the phone if I order through them.
Im being optamistic I know but the phone was listed on Mexico's site on Monday and just noticed it was listed for Brazil today. So you never know.
This is definatly a good thread to keep alive incase others are interested like Makiger.
So I thought I would try and do an "over the phone" order to see if there was anything special they could do. Sadly this was unsuccessful. But the agent I spoke with did say something that may be intreeging to some. It honestly could mean nothign or it could mean real soon. Who knows?
Jessel: Oh, I do apologize for that. As of the moment, this Moto X Force is not yet available on our webiste. What I can suggest is to visit third party vendors and see if they already have Moto X Force available here in the US. We looking forward to this phone to be available soon.

I think that agent doesn't have a clue what he's talking He's just repeating generic phrase. Turbo 2 is exclusive for Verizon. Do you really think that Moto can offer basically the same device in US and brake exclusive contract with Verizon?
Don't get me wrong, I would like that Moto didn't even make Turbo 2, just Force globally.

you can buy from the UK, it just takes a while to get it.
A listing just popped up on India Amazon a little early for the rumored release date..

PSA:
If you do buy from Clove Technology - or any overseas store - and you're paying with PayPal, make sure to change their default currency conversion to use your credit card's exchange rate instead.
Just priced the phone (Jan 29, 2016) as £431.83 shipped to me in the USA. According to XE.com, that's $613.78 USD with a conversion rate of 1 USD = 0.703554 GBP.
PayPal was giving me a rate @ 1 USD = 0.678425045 GBP, which would make the cost $636.52 USD, or an increase of $22.74, which is a full tank of gas for me.
Good Experience With Handtec
I got mine from Handtec UK (Sorry, can't post a link)
It arrived today in Louisiana from FedEx and it only took about 2 days to get here. No problems with customs or VAT whatsoever. All in all, it cost me around $625 (Used PayPal at Checkout), including shipping. Other than the UK wall plug it came with, I'm very satisfied so far.
