I'm looking to pick up a sim free Touch HD (for use on T-Mobile). Over the past week I've done some research and I've found the following prices:

Handtec beats LambdaTek by a few pounds if that makes a difference....I just bought mine from them, ordered late Friday night and it was delivered in USA Monday morning with cheap shipping:

How much total they charge you in USD (including shipping, and VAT). Do they charge us for VAT even we are in US? I would like to know the total cost so I won't be surprise.

They are out of stock atm though so
Otherwise play.com is 499.99 and its in stock...

Does Play.com charge VAT on this item? If so the Touch HD could be:
£474.99 delivered inc. VAT = £403.74 excluding VAT. And it might be possible to get 0.5% quidco on top of that too.
Excluding VAT is the price VAT registered businesses and non-EU purchasers would pay (although I'm not sure about shipping costs for outside the UK mainland with Play.com).
Can we get the device any cheaper?

Currently it looks like Play.com has the best deal available, I wonder why they're not showing as out of stock like most of the other retailers!
I might order from them, although it largely depends on what T-mobile can offer first! Thanks to everyone who replied with suggestions, I think we've got the definitive list. Maybe this thread should be stickied for a week or two.
Actually, the Play.com voucher deal only works if you are an RAC breakdown cover customer.
And even if you are, consider that the prepaymobiles through quidco is an extra £24.46 off, making it £464.89 with free delivery.
I got mine from Gumtree.com. Paid £390 for orange version (although completely unbranded) and paid £15 online to unlock. Grand total £405. Completely unlocked and unbrandanded generic software. Only small orange logo printed on battery cover.

Good price as they're going on eBay for around £500. Was yours second hand?..
via PrePayMobiles, it's £421 ex VAT with £24.46 QuidCo = £396.54 which looks like the best possible retail price going for a new Touch HD. Even if you're a consumer and/or not VAT registered, PrePayMobiles is only £489 - £24.46 Quidco.

The guy who sold it to me literally got it as an upgrade the day before. Phone was brand new with all accessories.
I recommend anyone in UK to look on Gumtree for sale section.

I've been trying to get in touch with PrePayMania, but they're very slow at getting back to me. I did get a message that they were out of stock, but they don't know when they're getting more in. Which is odd.
Anyway, theorder.co.uk - who knows? Why not order with Play.com? They're the same price (and cheaper if you have RAC membership).

What with the unlock codes now working I can finally take the plunge and buy the Venue Pro. The problem is I'm in the UK and we still can't get the phone over here - Expansys are an absolute waste of time, they don't have stock and just keep listing fictional date after fictional date on their website.
Ideally I'd order directly from Dell but they don't ship to the UK. Anyone know any other sites in the US that stock the phone and will ship? Failing this, anyone fancy doing me a massive favour and ordering from Dell for me? Obviously I'd PayPal the money up front and whatever else you thought appropriate for handling, yadda yadda
After waiting this long I'm just desperate to finally get my hands on it and move on from my old HTC!

I did - but the thing is most of those are $670+, whereas the Dell Venue Pro is $499 on the Dell website (or $449 for the 8GB). $170 is a heck of a mark-up, even if it includes an unlock code (which seems to be $55-60)...
There are occasionally bargains on ebay with cheaper VP's but I am probably going to go the route of using com gateway to get them to buy one for me and get it shipped here and pay using paypal. I added it up roughly.

These are approximate prices. The exchange rate fluctuates and tax depends on
the declared amount on the phone. It may be much less. But state tax may also be included. Unlock fee may be more as well.
Having said that a total of £450 which I imagine is the upper maximum is less than
the UK price currently and without the wait.

Later i came to know that there is some extra customs and duty charge for importing these kind of things...
Was that shipping charge inclusive of customs and duty charges ??? If no how much should i pay in extra. ??

Not sure how it works in india, but normally the shipping will NOT cover custom taxes (import duty). You would have to pay them yourself.

Correct.
I paid $25 shipping (by USPS) and then had to pay $40 of taxes.

just wanted to let everybody know u can get the fire tv box for about $59. staples has it for $79.00.just add some paper clips to bring it to $80 or so.then add the $30 off 80 coupon.the coupon u can exchange for $5 amazon gc from the dude moosss(slickdeals site).i believe he has more.my total came out to 54.42 plus $5 giftcard i needed to exchange for the coupon. so $59.42 not bad
