Hi I need some help, yesterday I was trying to put Cyanogenmod in my phone, because it works the u8800Pro version but with some bugs, and because I had MIUI and I didn't like it, because my battery was running out all the time, it was a little bit slow and it got hot temperature all the time.
So, I did the wipe, the system format and then i tried to install the zip file from the geno, but it wasn't the U8800Pro zip, it was the U8800... (I didn't realized at the moment ), so I tried to install it, but it took me back to the recovery main menu.
I turned off the phone, and I thought that the CyanogenMod didn't worked for my phone, so i put the original recovery and boot files, and then the dload with the froyo image. (And now I realized that it wasn't the right zip)
So, When I turn on the phone, it shows the "entel" logo, but then it turns off, And everytime I turn it on, happens the same thing... I tried also with the Gingerbread update.app, but it doesn't pass the "entel" logo. It doesn't show the update process as normal...
I can get the Pink Screen. But when i put the charger it shows me the "entel" logo, and then it turns off, over and over again. I mean, normally shows (at charging) the entel logo and then the battery charging screen. Now it doesn't.
What can I do to "repair" my phone, is there something i can do to go make it work again? I just want to make it work :'(
Please somebody help me. Please.
EDIT: Thankfully i had a backup, Now My U8800 is working with the official Gingerbread.
colo lo hicistes
agradeceria me dijeras como lo hicistes ya que tengo casi el mismo problema

Need help tried to get into flashboot mode now the phone is bugging out. all I did was got root and went perfect then I'm trying to use the flash too program and flash a rom or something. and it was telling me to connect into flashboot mode then press the ok button on the PC to start the program couldn't connect. so I kept trying and before the phone didn't want to get into any type of recovery or flash mode now the phone if I turn it on without any USB in the phone shows the Sony sign sits there and reboots by its self. or if I just plug it into my charger I freaking still get a green light and its stuck in the flash mode how can I get it to just turn on normal so I can have a working phone. Sorry for the long story its just odd I've never had a phone where if you pressed a few buttons and the PC never even saw the phone that its freaking out like I dumped a bomb in it. but nothing was wrong I had rooted perfect and turned it off a ton of time before trying to get into flashboot mode. Thanks for any advice everyone

i got the same issue by you so the only solution i get is to reflash generic 2.1 with flash tool and root xrec ect..and reboot with the charger plug and let's the phone charge reboot again with cable plug and when the green light disappear on boot then flash your rom with xrec. so remember don't flash with flashtool when you in xrec this made a autoflash mode and stay in flash all the time and eat your battery and maybe damage the phone if you stay in flash for long time.

Hey so you did end up getting out of this mode when it happened to you? And Im getting what your say but im sorta confused so I had android 1.6 and just finished rooting and was trying to put the phone in flashboot mode. Then I downloaded the flash tool and I moves to recovery files the the data/local or where ever they where supposed to be. Then tried to get into recovery but couldn't so I downloaded a rom or generic firmware for my type of phone. but when it said to put in flash mode by just holding the back button and put the plug in and press the ok button it wouldn't find the phone. That's when my problem began I tried to just take the battery out load normal to restart but it then just gets to the Sony sign and then turns off. The software didn't even touch the phone its getting annoying cuz I just want it to turn back on. Can you or someone post a like to where I should go with those directions you posted please

hello
Froyo need an update to the root user. delete some files and now will not start. I can not connect via USB. in case you have an update by sd
please help
Can you get into download mode? Pull your battery, put it back in, open the phone, hold the 1 button down on the keyboard while holding power. Does this get you into a special screen?
gracias
deja pruebo
not start the phone. because they replace a file. I can do?
serves to download mode
Can you get into recovery mode? If you can then I would take out your SD card from your phone and insert it into a card reader and copy one of the stock builds onto your Sd card. Put SD card back into phone, boot into recovery and flash the build.
I'm sorry for asking so much. is that I am new to this.
where I can download it. is hard to find me I'm from mexico
but thanks
had not tested the download mode
thanks

Booting blues
I am having booting problems with my Epic. running Android 2.2 with stock EC05.
If I do an nandroid restore it goes through normally but then hangs prior to the reboot. Have to a battery out reset, wakes up in roboot menu, and then reboots normally.
Did a cold reboot (<1>+Power on), gave me the Downloading Do no switch off screen. this persisted for over 10 minutes with no progress. I then took out the battery, reinserted it, and it took off normally.
Please advise and help!
My problem was that it started.
I did was upgrade to Froy.
I worked

Is so in Froyo, GingerBread is:
POWER + X... triangle... Vol up + Vol down (at the same time)
try some times press at same time vol+ and vol- on TRIAGLE screen
after some tries you will access the recovery menu
tenta algumas vezes apertar vol+ e vol- juntos e segurar por uns 2s dai tu vai conseguir acessar o menu de recovery
worked fine guys, thanks..
but now i got another problem i changed the rom through the Recovery to the last one from MIUI 2.3.7
after all i got a blank screen, first see motorola logo and got a blank screen and dont start the rom
there is a solution ??
EDIT:
i installed the SBF stock rom to get phone on again!
tryed to install CM7 2.3.7, using the step "From a STOCK ROM"
the same problem, motorola logo after reboot, and 2 sec after a black screen, and stay in this black screen FOREVER!!!!!
returned to the stock sbf 2.3.6 rom !
really, i tried MIUI 2.3.7 and CM7 2.3.7!
but everytime a black screen after motorola logo
Since u r on GB now, u can't use these two ROMs. It is a kernel thing. You can't go back from GB kernel to Froyo kernel and the two ROMs u r trying are on Froyo kernel.
The ones u can use are CM9 and Endless' CM7.
wow, clear for me now this thing of kernel... i was trying the cm7 2.3.7 by TEZET!
so now i have to use this one -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239778 GB KERNEL 20-Dec by Endless?
this is the last one ported?
thx the answer

I think yes, latest tezets build is based on old GB kernel (at least so I understand from tezet's post).
Port from Endless7 is pretty stable, but has some minor annoying bugs (in example notifications, that hangs while swipping them right with finger)
i used the CM7 by endless ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239778 ), but the same problem, now after the logo of motorola with the BUNNY, i got a black screen
really, what im doing wrong
I FLASHED the Fix_sbf from endless topic, but nothing change, it dont stuck in the black screen anymore, it stuck in the motorola logo with the bunny

did it too, reboot, but still stuck at the "bunny+motorola" logo !!
May be you can try this.
1.Flash 2.3.6 SBF.
2.Root & install CWM.
3.Open Endless7's CM7, remove the boot.img, devtree.img.
4.Remove the asserts to push these files from update-script inside META-INF/com/google/android/
5.Repack into a zip file and flash via CWM
5.Wipe data and reboot!!
Did you install this one
Latest version based on defy-cm7:

This latest build works great on my Milestone2 with previous official GB ROM. Thanks,Endless..You just save us from getting bored.
In case anyone is confused installing this ROM on his Milestone GB kernel:
-First,copy CM72 ROM on the root SD card.
-Enter recovery and wipe data, cache n dalvik cache.
-Choose install zip from SD card and let it finish.
-Reboot system now and you should stuck in black screen.
-Pull out the battery and enter bootloader (up button and power on)
-Open rsd and connect your phone to PC.
-Flash the fixed sbf and your phone should boot after complete.
-Be patient coz first boot will take longer and your phone should restart once.
-Give thanks to Endless or consider giving donations.

I flashed Kalo's rom, 1.8 version, and everything was working fine, but when i did a normal reboot (long press the power button and choose reboot) The phone turned off normally, but when turning on, the screen went blue, i can't access the recovery, neither anything else than the blue, and the pink screen.. What can i do? Help please!
Download b628(not sure, anyway the latest official 2.3) unzip it on a new folder named dload on the root of your sd card pull the battery out and put usb in while pressing volume down and power buttons

Where can i download it? btw, i have the u8800pro, on the huawei site, there's nothing for this one.. I'm already trying to fix it with a backup image i got from a friend, but it's not working yet. Add also, that when i plug it, on the pink screen, it's totally empty, there's nothing. I'm afraid.. If you can help me, i'd really apreciate it..!
FIXED! http://www.mediafire.com/?3p404p3lsp4phcu I downloaded this, unzipped it, and put in the phone (Pink screen) And it got stuck in the android logo, but i could access the recovery, so i flashed another rom, and it's working fine now.
I flashed EMOTION_Lolipop rom, and it worked fine, but I wanted to try something else so then I flashed MIUI v5. After that the phone wouldn't boot, it was booting for more than 10 minutes and nothing happened, also the screen was upside down. I wiped everything, flashed it again, but still the same. Then I tried MIUI v6 rom, now it keeps restarting as soon as it turns on. I can get to CWM recovery, I wiped everything, flashed back EMOTION rom, but when I turn it on it still has MIUI v6 logo, and it still keeps restarting. Screen is upside down even in recovery.
Please help.
Okay, I flashed back MIUI v5, and now it doesn't restart but it still wont boot. Also in MTK Droid Tool I get --- ERROR :dev/radio/pttycmd1 inaccessible , should be Root Shell
--- ERROR : pttycmd1 device NOT found!

i cant understand that "upside down" but flash via spflashtool the backup of stok rom and check that"upside down" if is fixed.
then go back to your lovely rom!

I was getting a "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded" error, also some other errors, but anyway after I formated it then I sucessfuly finished flashing with "SPflash tool backup for ZTE Blade Q Vip.rs / Serbia" from "http://forum.xda-developers.com/zte-blade/general/zte-blade-q-spflash-cwm-backup-t2926264".
My original rom was also VIP but for Croatia. When I turned it on I could hear the sound but on screen there were weird vertical lines, so I tried the second one "SPflashtool backup for ZTE Blade Q Maxi (Orange Reyo) / made by @vaserbanix", and now everything looks normal but it's booting for probably ten minutes.
MTK droid tools doesn't recognize it when I connect the USB, but in the device manager it's visible as MTP USB device.
Any ideas?
I wiped everything from recovery, now it finally booted. It's just locked to ORANGE, I'll try another ROM to see if that will solve it.

IMEI was missing, I entered it through engineering mode because for some reason MTK droid tools is not recognizing the device.
Everything works now, thanks.
Actually mobile data is not working since then, do you know how to fix that? I entered APN manually, doesn't help.
EDIT: Nevermind, it's working.
But can I do anything to get the IMEI writen forever, so I don't have to enter it again after I change ROM.
No!
