Cm7 kang from burgerz-how to install? - Blade General

Hello, I can't write in cm 7 kang thread, so I write here. I have official cm 7 nightly 257. Could I just flash burgerz version via recovery, like just a new nightly version? Then reboot and it's all? Or I have to flash zip, do full wipe, flash gapps?

Two different kernels. You have to install the unofficial nightlys by revnumbers. He has an updated build with GB kernel.

Stock CM9 stable (9.1.0) kernel zip?

Is there a zip CWM-flashable of the stock CM9 stable (9.1.0) kernel? I flashed Semaphore, something went wrong, and I want to flash the stock CM9 kernel rather than having to flash the entire ROM.

Was at the same point a few days ago. Just wiped cache and dalvik then flashed the whole rom and gapps again. Works like a charm and no data lost or broken.
Now I am testing stock cm9.1 kernel after semaphore and devil.

Yup just flash CM9 and gapps again. Your data will remain.

Not needed to flash gapps
... unless you have deleted
/system/addon.d/70-gapps.sh
/system/addon.d/71-gapps-faceunlock.sh
Modem is also preserved.
Kernel and the other system files get updated to the nightly you flash.

[Q] Revert(downgrade) from CM9 to CM7

Can someone please help me take my nook color back to cm7. I was running cm7 and I was loving it. I decided to give cm9 a shoot, and think it really lags with cm9, So I want to take it back to cm7. Any instructions or link would be greatly appreciated.
It's the same like upgrading from CM7 to cm9.
First you download the rom that you want to install and you have it available.
Then you reboot in recovery, you format system/wipe data and cache partition.
Then you install the rom and this is it.
Produced by NookColor at ICS AOKP 4.0.4
Thanks for the quick response, how about gapps? Do i have to install the cm7 version?

[Q] Changing ROM

I'm currently running Paranoid Android and am experiencing a problem that I can't install .zip files from my sd card in recovery. At first I thought I could use stock recovery, but now neither work
So firstly, do you recommend I re-flash PA? Or should I try another ROM?
Also if I change ROM, do I just factory wipe and dalvik chace wipe then flash? Or do I have to do something else because I'm currently running PA with Jellybean?
Thanks in advance
