I'm trying to install android on a htc hd mini, i have found this:

but i didn't understand what is: HARET_PHOTON7227
where can we find it and how to run it.

I don't know anything about this phone but if I had to guess (and really I am) it should be in the .rar that you downloaded from that thread.
haret is an exe file which you need to run within windows mobile
you can find it in the rar file which i uploaded
but i recommend you to install the nand version which is in android development page

Hi all, I have downloaded Windows Mobile 6.5 Developer Tool Kit and the phone emulators on there are excellent. just wondering if anyone here uses this for test touch hd roms before flashing there devices?
If so do you already have the correct settings and rom files for the touch hd that can be loaded with the Windows Mobile 6.5 tool kit?
Also how do you go about being able to install apps on there or flash a new rom as if you was doing it for real on the handset? I couldn't see a way of copying cab files to it.
I think it would be really useful to have a default emulation of the Touch HD so we can try out apps or roms before installing or flashing the phones saves resetting everything if we don't like them.

No, I wasn't sure if this should go there or in general as it isn't actually a ROM or to do with creating ROM's it more about testing them but maybe it would be better of there.
Can a mod move this to ROM development please?
I'm sure it's not so easy (maybe even not possible) in WinMo-Emualtor.
HD has specific drivers and so on ...

what android version are u using and where did you get it from ?
i am searching this topic for weeks now and can't find a solution on how to copy a working android port on my touch diamond.
seems there is no such webpage and i can't find a forum post that just tells me "here is the most up to date and best android version for touch diamond in a zip file, just copy this to your htc root folder and you're done."
gets me sick.
same with win7 ports. can't find a serious thread for this topic with a simple post like : here is the actual port.. this runs, that doesnt, copy the zip to your root and run the .cab file.
is it really so difficult for people to just do that instead of writing thousands of forum posts to gather 15 different files, and 10 have to be different to make it work.. it's like hell.
and please.. just use the android market, my gf is doing this all day and it works very good. you can search for free apps in topics and with a free search option and you got ALL android apps available. what do you want even more ?

1.Your post is irrelevant, you clearly haven't read that he wants to dual boot.
[email protected] the first thing to do is to use the search button in the forums
3.The selected ROM is a NAND ROM and cannot be run via SD card. Go to the SD section.
4.Because of my immense generosity ( ), here's a guide:
Update to the latest stock ROM 3.14
Download an Android SD build and place the Android folder on the root of your SD card
Run CLRCAD then HARET via the file manager
Enjoy Android

its says i had 3.14.707 - rom version and 2.5.XX - manila version..?
do i still have to upgrade?

Do you have a brain? LOOK IN THE SD ANDROID SECTION FOR SD ROMS!
And no, no upgrade required in this case.

When you download and add the SD files to you SD card use the file explorer in windows mobile to run clrd and haret

hello guys i need some help, am from Ghana and i have HTC HD2 T Mobile with window mobile OS version 5.2.21913(21913.5.0.9), Manila version 2.5.20181424.0, Rom version 3.14.531.1(04666)WWE, Radio version 2.15.50.14 Protocol version 15.42.50.11U. Is it possible for me, to install it on my HD2?
Does it run beside Windows mobile 6.5?
Is there any tutorial? (i couldn't find any)
I would really like to try - if it is possible. If there is no tutorial, and i dont think it will be possible - for me at least.

The ROM's only a proof of concept as of now, you can't download it and nobody but Cotulla can run it (well at least the one in the pics, if anybody else could port it I'd be very impressed). I wouldn't expect the ROM to be publicly released any time soon, but maybe within the next few months.

And its an x86 version (Enterprise) and not the ARM version (RT)
You'll need the updated MAGLDR by Cotulla,
but he hasn't released it...
For now, just wait
I got HTC HD mini that installed windows mobile 6.5 pro, default language is not English. It cant be changed to English. So i think i have to reinstall windows mobile 6.5 pro on my device. So please can u give me step by step guidance to reinstall the windows mobile pro 6.5 English version?
By the way, can i install android on this device? if yes, what is the latest android version that i can install to this device. also please be kind to give me step by step guidance to install it. Because i have never tried. Thanks..!
