really?? this **** has gone on for long enough...thread after thread of ppl asking for ROM suggestions because theyre too lazy to use the simple "search" function or too lazy to look in the right section. perhaps its time to move on to another device or just leave xda and go to another site. First you want something other than a Fascinate, now you want SenseUI on your Fascinate...

Actually guys there were a bunch of devs that got together and were porting the NEW SENSE over to all Galaxy S phones. They announced a few betas for the epic and captivate. I wanted to know if anyone saw it. Cause there doing a port to the fascinate also.
Ummm and please explain why this topic doesnt belong here. This belongs in this section 100% ill make sure you guys get a chance to bash the 8-10 devs that are working on this.

Anyway I have the same type of question, I just got Cyans rom running on my phone today but I do miss Htc's touch input I had been using on the stock phone over swype, and ideas how to get that?

Is it just me or is there WAY too many ROMs now? To be honest, options are always good, but it seems there are so many different ROMs being pushed out and that worries me. It seems the Development thread is getting polluted with all these roms. Most of them seeming useless, at least to me. But what do I know?
Note: Maybe I'm getting tired of waiting for TW
This thread is D.O.A. People complain when there's too little activity in the dev section, but I've never seen anyone complain about too much activity...
Just because TW is your favorite team, doesn't mean they should be the only ones posting roms.
This has got to be the most BS complaint the vibrant forum ever had. Well that's just what I think don't know about what the others will say.

I think its dumb you guys locked the ics thread. Regardless if it was drews actual post or not the whole point of android is do what you want and ics and a port and thread and comments and rants and what not is the whole point of forums like this. Hello nexus s development has not one thing on it about ics. That should seem odd. Maybe I need to fire up my nexus one. How can we progress if u take away the online progress. I understand the guy has his own site and what not but that was are only insight into ics on xda. And we use the only phone that's going to get it first . Stop being online nerds. I wouldn't recommend an ics rom yet unless you have no need for a camera our video camera. I don't believe flash is working right either. I may be wrong about that though. I would suggest unity, Cm7, our miui for rooms to try out until a solid release of ics is available.

This forum is a resource, not a help line..you don't call up the folks at wikipedia and go "quick, i have a report due, tell me what happened in ww2!"
They did the research to help narrow your information search to a single forum, the last you can do is understand that unless you are developing new applications or roms or working on a brand new device that your question has already been asked and the onus is on you to actually read the encyclopedia and to write your own report..no one is going to write your report for you, especially not the editors of the encyclopedia..it is gracious that some of these questions even get replies, even if they are flaming you for asking without searching..imo fwiw
