What was the condition of the packaging when you received your device? It's still very new, so it's unlikely that any refurb units are even available yet.
Agreed, I bought mine of an ebay retailer from hong kong (530 total shipped!) and it came in the box but was not sealed, but this was because they had to check it to make sure everything works, which makes sense considering the loss they would take if I had to return it due to something being defective, etc. They were cool enough to include a us adapter charger plug in so I was all set to go. This simply hasnt been out long enough to have enough refurbished units out so no worries about that.
thank you.

Dear Johnny,
Unfortunately all return shipping is not our responsibility. Is there anything we can do for you to avoid such a refund?

Finally,I didn't return this combo set...
Are you sure you ordered the correct version? The back cover looks to be for a different TP variant.
you definitely ordered the wrong one.... or recieved the wrong one....
looks like you need this
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/bd2-hlcsr2htfe-bk.htm
click on more pictures and you'll see the backing. it's the one i got for my Fuze, and it's a perfect fit.
Given the back, looks like you ordered the one for the sprint Touch Pro:
The Sprint Touch Pro is 2mm longer and rounder then the Fuze.
But webpage show the Compatibility is for use with HTC Fuze (AT&T)
Isn't same with mine one?
They definitely either shipped you the wrong version or you bought the wrong version. As previously stated the one you received is for the Sprint Touch Pro, which has different dimensions than the HTC Fuze.

That is what they shipped you, is this what you ordered? (What does your receipt say? Match or post the product number)
-If so, then you bought the wrong one, talk to them about returning it (shipped at your own expense) and purchase this
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/bd2-hlcsr2htfe-bk.htm
-If that was not what you ordered, let them know. They shipped you the wrong product and you need to get what you paid for.
I get it ..
I bought a wrong one..

It's ok, mistakes happen
Hey I'm going to get an HD2 VERY soon, was just wondering if anyone purchased one from any sellers located in Hong Kong, and if everything was as expected? I Just don't wanna pay for a fake lol.
I suggest not purchasing from a user with low reps, even if they have 100% feedback. If it is something you consider, ive ordered my htc kaiser from hong kong. They used ups, and guess what? When i recieved the phone i got charged atleast 100 from customs, which wasnt needed.. also the box was beat up.
Hope you´ll enjoy the great feeling to get a brick in a box
I once ordered an Universal (anyone remembering it?) from HK a looong time ago. Actually, I go a badly damaged box, had trouble with german customs and the device was a bad chinese copy of something that was was definitely not an universal. How much are you gonna save compared to a purchase in whereever you live?
Sometimes, that is not an option. It wasn't in my case, because nobody in Panama actually sells the HD2, and I think I might be the only person to own one in the entire country.
I generally dont buy these kind of things from Ebay as ive been stung before (even though the loser got caught and is behind bars .
If you must stick to the power sellers, check their feedback, look for volume sellers who have sold many, use paypal for a little more peace of mind in theory etc. good luck.
If you are based in the UK there are plenty of sellers that have got them as afree upgrade. I bought one for £335 in a sealed box and unlocked it to Orange for £7.20.
Someone I know purchased an iPod from a strange ebayer, with good rep, it arrived, looked just like an iPod, but had some weird OS on it which WASNT iPod and very nasty. Just becareful when buying items like this on ebay.
NOW DOWN TO $79!
This deal keep getting better and better.
I just pulled the trigger on one.
Thought some of you might be interested.

Mine is expected to arrive on Wednesday (UPS). Will let you know then. Others may get it earlier and let us know about their experience.
The description on eBay does state that it may or may not come in the original packaging, so we'll see.
Any feedback on those that have their units already?

I just got mine a half hour ago. Came in the original nook packaging with sticker in the back of the box and another sealing the box that say "certified pre-owned nook"
Looks pristine (minor scuff in back where unit touches surfaces when put down--I stand corrected, it was no scuff, just some dirt). Screen is flawless, no marks whatsoever. Up and running after registering in a minute. Dowloaded my books and opened the one I'm currently reading at the bookmark left on my Nook Color.
Version 1.0.1
Will root later after work.
Currently listed on eBay for $112, but these retail online for $139 with free shipping anyway.
Granted, $27 is something, but is that enough to cover the risk/hassle of refurb hardware?

They're shipped by B&N and they come with a full warranty. I'm pretty sure most of them are returns from people who didn't care for it. It's a bit more than 27 when you factor in the state tax on 112 vs 139.
Am I the only one or has any one else gotten this? Your experience? Good or bad?
I bought one after dropping the one my girlfriend bought me for my birthday present. Wasn't able to fix the screen and couldn't find a replacement online. Got it within 3 days and it looks brand new. Really happy about it. She has no clue I broke the first one. Hoping to find a way to fix it in the future.
Wow, it gets better and better! You can now get a refurbished Nook Touch from B&N via eBay for $99 (down from $112) with free shipping.
EDIT: NOW DOWN TO $79!

It's so cheap now that I'm debating whether to buy a backup unit, just in case.
Hi XDA,
i ordered a Nexus 10 from Valuebasket as it isnt available in my country. Now im a little bit worried as it took over a month before they send it and it should arrive tomorrow. The shipping adress is from Hong Kong and this is what gets me worried as to my knowledge Nexus isnt sold in China.
I would like to know how i could easily check if the product i will get is actually a real Google Nexus 10 and not a fake one made in China.
Thanks alot for any help on this

I guess all you should do is go into Settings - Info about tablet and also could check in bootloader mode if all the options are the same. But in case it was fake, im sure you could easily see it on the box. And also, the tablet wouldn't look the same.
Could also try opening AnTuTu and see if it can verify you have a Nexus 10. Not 100% sure how sure AnTuTu is though.
Upload a pic of the box
Also check all the FCC credentials underneath the textured panel on the back.

I looked up the items you mentioned... Their website shows the corrects specs and branding for everything (MIMO+HT40, pogo pin charger, dual side nfc, 9000mAh batt. ). These are things easily checked that aren't found in combination on other tablets. The ad looks completely legit except the price... If it's Euro, it's just slightly more than msrp... Pound it is extremely high (don't know from the £)
The month delay in shipping? I wouldn't read anything into this since I get stuff from overseas (uk and Taiwan) that takes that long all the time getting through U. S. customs. Especially if they ordered it from another country and then are sending it to you. I think that is what they may be doing since the price is so much higher.. An authorized reseller should have it at the MSRP.
You should be able to tell if it is legit just by checking it visually and then under menu/about for system versions.. Run a free hardware info app to check the hardware/sensors.

I have to correct you, im from Spain and it costed me 400€ the 16gb version, and I think it also costs 400$? If the conversion was done from € to $ I should have paid 308€, as always there isn't any conversion made
I bought a s8 dual sim (on 6.9.2017), where the seal on the package was broken. The package looked suspicious, so I filmed the unboxing. Someone put a seal over the original one. The Samsung seal below was cut.
So I returned to the dealer and he told me it must have been the importer who checked the phone. Now Im trying to find out if the phone was used before. Used the "Phone INFO ★Samsung★" App to check
Congratulations!
Your phone is ORIGINAL.

the price was around 615 euro, thats 25 euro more than the cheapest new non dual sim s8 around. but 150 euro less than the average price for a s8 duos.
What do you think happened here. Is it a refurbished/used phone? Or did someone just check the package. What would you do? I really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance
For what you are getting at the price, I wouldn't really be worried about the Seal, If you are buying from a company like eglobal central which is a UK website but phone ships from Korea etc, the phones always come with the seal broken but the device itself is new, I have read somewhere also that although some models will work outside of their country of sale, but you need to make a 5 minutes call from the country of original release before it can be used from another country, I am not sure how true this is.
Read the comment on this link https://www.techwalls.com/samsung-galaxy-s8-sm-g950-g955-model-number-differences/
Most of these devices coming from outside of europe will probably arrive with the seal broken especially if buying from ebay so I wouldnt be worried really.
I am just about to buy a SM-G955 (Korea) 6GB/128GB on ebay UK, coming from ireland or Korea. I intend to flash with a Europe/Uk CSC once I receive it.
Yeah sounds reasonable. That's also the reason why I didn't return the phone immediately, because I remembered reading on a website from a legit dealer that they open the package to remove the region lock. But I got a little bit paranoid because the dealer seemed suspicious and after checking with the phone info app i got this weird warning that the manufacturing date does not match with the serial number, which is weird.
Thanks for your advice.
