I was wondering if someone would please make a tutorial video on how to root the kindle fire v6.2.2 using a Mac. It would really help me out a lot. I'm just not comfortable enough to root it without a video. And also maybe a video on how to install TWRP for Mac. If someone could make or show me a good tutorial it would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
AustinFire

Yeah, I think you meant to say guys, not gays.
This page might help you out. Look at the XDA part and there are a couple of links. Also a couple of those videos should help you out.
Just be patient and take it step by step.
Good luck gay.

No, probably not a standard way. I have done two, one using this method with the changes for 6.2.2 (burrito2).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1417234
The information in the video description gives information on what you have to do differently for 6.2.2
I also rooted using the KFU, but that script also has to be modified to support 6.2.2 and you need to have the burrito2.bin file.
I believe the new way to root is using burrito3 but I can not speak from experience on b3, never used it.
allthrough it is mainly about driver you can do all the things you want with kfu
look at this post to avoid potential problems:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22016829&postcount=6
and please read the op of kfu - espacially the known tricks

and this post of the dev of kfu:

It was removed because it is based on stolen work.
I have looked through the discussions on how to root the fire, but I am a COMPLETE novice, and some of the abbreviations and screen shots are confusing to me. What I need is step-by-step directions (with limited abbreviations) to teach me how to root my Kindle Fire. If this is already out there in a thread, I'm happy to be directed to it.
Thank you so much in advance!!
you just need one tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399889
extract it to c:\ and rename it to "kfu" so that it is c:\kfu
please read the op of kfu carefully and take a look at this post from dev of kfu:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20945694&postcount=506
in case you have troubles with the drivers:

good luck !
Check out nat3mil on YouTube as well if you want a video walk through. I don't know how many times I watched his demo before rooting my fire but it made it a lot easier! Good luck!

Thank you!
Thank you! I will be researching this and trying it this week!!
kfu is one of the easiest utilities to use. It worked flawless for me!
Well after spending a lot of time on this phone I managed to get full root access
Instructions :
Download Kingo (Search good due I can't post any link.)
Install and run kingo.
Now just connect your phone in debugging mode at your pc.(How to find debug more? Look the pictures below!)
Press "ROOT" on the Kingo program and let it until it says "Root was successfully"
After that just see a small tune you can do to your mediatek processor!
You're done, now your have full root access!! Have fun!!
(AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BREAK DOWN YOUR PHONE!MAKE IT WITH YOUR OWN RISK!!)
Sounds good! Someone else has tested? :cyclops:
Am working on the source code of the kernel stand by! And if any moderator can create a section for Xperia E4 would be great for the new user of this phone!
