Xperia Arc S 4.0.2.a.0.62 Root

Hi,
"Xperia Arc S" 4.0.2.a.0.62 I installed the firmware to the phone.
How to root the phone?

There are no root solution for .62 at this moment..why might have to wait till some dev can find a way to do it..

you have to downgrade to 4.0.2.A.0.42 to root your arc s

I think you can use a prerooted kernel instead .

yes correct with unlocked bootloader.
i was update to 4.0.2.A.0.62 OTA when i received ArcS, i was install many apk, now i can't full backup because i can't install CWM to backup, i want to unlock bootloader but my app and date will be wipe, many many app to reinstall!!!!!!

I'm looking for a .ftf file to flash to my R800i which has the baseband version .42 or .62, PC studio thingy bob doesn't work for my phone.. well it does but it has issues with half way through the update "Error has occurred" but when I flash with flashtool its fine. The only update I was able to find last time (When it was urgent) was 2.3.2 but now I want 2.3.4 or upwards and doomkernel but I cant on my current firmware build (3.0.2~)

hi I see your from colchester im from clacton ,is your bootloader unlocked and did u do it yourself iv tried a few times to unlock mine with windows xp but to no success as I havent got windows vista or 7 ,if u have the write microsoft windows to unlock will u unlock my bootloader if u can and I will pay u for unlocking it ? thanks

[HOW-TO] Convert L55U [UNICOM] to D6633

Hello guys ..
how are you all .. ??
hope you all fine ..
today i'm gonna tell you how to convert your Xperia Z3 (L55u) unicom edition to D6633 ..
what is the benefit of doing that .. ??
after converting your l55u to d6633 you will have an international Z3 edition without any Chinese apps and easy to root ..
also you will receive OTA ..
Notes ..
1. This works only for L55U ..
2. Disable Anti-Virus ..
3. Battery should be at least 50% ..
PLEASE PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK
Let's Start ..
1. Download this package ..
>>>D6633 + FlashTool<<<
which contains latest D6633 FTF and Flashtool (Portable) ..
NOTE: you can download your preferred FlashTool and FTF file from anywhere you want.
2. Extract files and copy FlashTool folder to C:\ ..
3. Now go to "C:\Flashtool\drivers" and run "Flashtool-drivers.exe" and install drivers ..
4. Copy FTF file to "C:\Flashtool\firmwares" then run Flashtool.exe ..
5. Click on the Lightning mark from the left and choose Flashmode ..
6. Now you will see a new window which contains your FTF info .. don't change anything and click FLASH ..
7. Wait a few seconds before you see a new window with instructions of how to connect your device ..
8. Now turn off your phone and press Volume Down + Connect USB and wait for Flashing to start ..
9. Once Flashing is done .. disconnect your phone and power it on and have fun with your international edition of Z3 ..

Another possibly stupid question...
I am unable to download and install the drivers from the flashtool, according the the Xperia software, everything is up to date but when I use the flashtool-drivers application it just tells me it has failed and it won't let me flash it without them.
Is there something I am overlooking?

How can i Root P8 LiTE without unblock bootloader?

First of all my english is very bad, I'll do the best I can .
Some weeks ago (2-3) I received the phone , Huawei P8 Lite Android 5 (Vodafone ROM).
So i rooted with KingRoot and all was perfect.
Few days ago my friends told me to upgrade to 6.0, thats what i do. But surfing @ inet everything I've read is to Root with Bootloader unblocked..
But i cant unblock my bootloader cuz Huawei site says: "The Huawei ID used to apply for the unlock code has not been used on the device for more than 14 days."
So i downgrade to Android 5.0 SPAIN to try to root... butt.. CANT now, KingRoot says unavailable to root cuz version is "hi6210sft" instead of ALE-21, my version is DUAL SIM i dont care about double sim , i only want 1 lol.
The question is.. can i Root my Huawei P8 LITE (Compil.:BalongC50b311) without unblock my bootloader? I can upgrade/dowgrande all version if needed, the only think i need is Root.

First of all, your rom in your Phone is not for Your Phone.. That word "balong" is "you have bad rom" flash right rom, then it could be possible to make root again like you already did

So, BALONG = some is wrong

im not sure, but i think you easily can flash stock rom without unlocking bootloader... you need just right rom image. It will be like "P8Lite_C432_B190.APP" that .APP is very important, because only with this you can flash it (just put it into root of your phone turn off device then press volume up and down in the same ime and urn it on. release after you see huawei logo)
yes, balong means something is wrong, but sometime your phone can work normally, it just rom for different region (for example China)

Okay thanks you, ill try to ask for the correct img to my friend's, only i've to do is search and try to find the correct ROM then flash with what soft??

You dont need aby soft, just do What i describe in previous post... And I think you will need rom like b130 or similar low number... Then u can upgrade to 170....

Huawei Y360-U72 root and twrp help please

Hello,i have an old Huawei Y360-U72 running Android 4.4.2 that i would like to root and install the latest TWRP recovery on. I have searched literally everywhere with no success. I find tutorials for other variants such as the 2017 Y3 and the U61 etc but nothing for the U72. I would like to try rooting it with SP Flashtool but i need a scatter file for it and i cant find one. The device has a MT6582M chipset so if anyone can please help me with a scatter file for it and also the latest working TWRP to install on it,i would be eternally grateful.
