Hi
You need a hard reset...!
or you can use another browser!
Like UC...or IE

yea, happened to me once too, but imo the normal browser is better

Opera,s speed is better than IE
and it,s faster!

same here...
MyOpera always crashes when opening web sites.
It just starts to open the site and I can see it, but then it crashes without warnings or errors.
The same site loads in IE without problems...
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Marti

Install Opera again
Hi.
Just install Opera again.
I had the same issue and re-install solved it, no hard reset necessary.
Look for Opera v9.70.36034_HVGA.cab here in forum.

hmmmm...
Maybe I did something wrong, but with the search string "Opera v9.70.36034_HVGA.cab" I was unable to find it. Even google didn't...
Would you be so kind to attach it here?
Thanks in advance,
Marti

Thanks a lot!
That solved my problem. Now opera works like before, no more crashes.
Again, thanks for your effort and sorry for being too stupid to find it,
Marti

Problems with Opera

This might be a stupid question, but I can't seem to get opera to load anything. When I try to go to any website opera asks me for permission to access the net and it kinda just gets stuck there. I click yes but it stays on that page and nothing will load.
Any advice?

opera not starting up

i uninstalled an opera upgrade and then opera doesnt work. i installed the latest beta from opera to get a clean install but i think the link to opera is lost as it wont start when i press the "launch browser" button.
how can i sort this out?
"Launch Browser" Opera does not start up
Hi Guys,
I have also the problem, that after installation to the new Opera and uninstalling the old one, the "Launch Browser" doesn´t find the link to Opera.
I checked the registry and I follow actually all advises from this forum, but no one was successfully.
I wrote one time ago, that the xml-file to this "Lauch Browser (link)" has to be changed, but what I said before, I can´t remember.
I think it can be developed to a big issue, because if we want to upgrade or totaly changing the Browser, the link to "Launch Browser" will not work anymore.
So please, if anyone knows how to change the link, let us know.
Thx

but to do an hardreset, is not an successfull solution. In Diamond Forum they discribe how to do with the xml-file, but they don´t say wich file it is. some they say it is a Manilafile some other people say it isn´t a manilafile.
Even other People said that any change they are doing is not functionally.
What I don´t understand is, we have so many seriously developers they can even change our HD to anything else what we ask for, of any Theme of any Slider of any Topbar, but it seems that there is no one, who can really help.
Soon or later, we all will get problem, because if Firefox or any other Browser will developed to higher and faster Browser, we will like to have it, but if we install it, than we can delete one from the 15 Sliderbutton "Browser"

Changing from Opera 9.5 to 9.7 on Internet tab

Hi,
Hope someone can help me with this. I have installed opera 9.7 beta onto my HD but cannot work out how to set it up so that when I press the internet tab it uses 9.7 and not 9.5. Does anyone have a way of doing this?
i have the same query. i tried search but found nothing.
slightly off topic.
i`m using "Three" 3G provider in Hong Kong and it takes ages to surf the net. i put the sim in my old N95 and the browsing is much faster. so it must be my HD. i tried changing the cache settings etc as suggested when i searched the issue but its still a crap net surfing experience.
any suggestions anyone?

Hi again,
Thanks for that however, the first version demonstrated using total commander does not work as I can't save the file due to write protection, I have tried to remove it using the comment idea by Lace in the fuze mobility site but it still won't save.
The second version works OK but the shortcuts still revert back to Opera 9.5. If I don't use the shortcuts then it uses 9.7.
Using Total Commander, I changed the assossiation of InternetPortal-en-GB.xml to Opera9-ml.exe from Opera9.exe and the icon file as well, these are both in the program directory. This appears to work but I don't know which version of Opera it is actually using, is there a way of checking this?
Try what I did: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3923943&postcount=68

Sorry - I have no idea how to correct that...
i had to do a hard reset.
then i added links to the opera6 adr file which put the links in the TF 3d, but it still doesnt work very well.
i`ll continue to post if i`m successfyl.
ok, i got it to work. sort of.
firstly i added <BrowserExe>\Windows\OperaL.exe</BrowserExe>
to the “InternetPortal-en-US.xml”.
then i moved the OperaL and opera9-ml files to windows. when i renamed the opera9-ml to opera9 as suggested it didnt work at all, it just says cant find the file. so i left it as is.
if i click on a bookmark the opera mobile small splash screen starts and then it hangs. if i press the "x" and close it, the browser opens and goes to the link. so i suppose it works, but its a bit annoying i have to press the x everytime.
if anyone has a solution let me know. thanks
Having upgraded to Opera 9.7 following the instructions found here I got that to work really easy, BUT does anyone know how to change (or remove) the links found below the Opera button in TF3D??

Opera Mobile 10 beta - HTTP Error 400

Each time that I launch Opera Mobile 10 beta I get an error message: HTTP Error 400: Your browser sent a malformed request.
After receiving the error I refresh and the problem disappears.
Any advice on how I can get rid of the error?
With Opera Mobile 9 when typing a url in the address bar it brings up a different keyboard, with '.com' and '/' keys, is it possible to switch this on in Opera 10?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Hi Kushmir
I'm afraid I've no solution but can tell you I've got exactly the same problem and came across your post as I was googling to find a solution!
Had this on every beta since first beta -and now on beta 3 :-(
Anyone solved this?
Marky_UK
Hi Marky_UK,
I recently downloaded beta 3, and for a short while the problem was resolved, but has now returned.
I reported it to Opera as a bug.
The other problem with Opera 10 is that it does not auto-rotate to landscape mode.
Opera 9 also had a different keyboard layout when typing URLs, this is not present in 10.
Hiya
Ahhh, all the same problems here! Damn, I thought this had been built and released for such a long time, such small bugs would've been squashed by now and it was just me!
Well, thanks for the reply and update!

Try this version of opera from mike2037, it's working fine for me

Meaningless blather which has been censored. Carry on.
Hi there
This post is actually about an error/problem in Opera 10 Mobile - and not about Flash Lite. Do you want to start another post to discuss that? I'd really like to try and solve the problems raised by Kushmir/myself.
Thanks!

Yeah, sorry to hijack the thread. I'll edit and repost.
Curious Geekyness
Just out of pure curiosity and being sad... What's different about this version compared to the original that stops it getting error:400?
i was getting this so installed opera beta 3 and it was better but like one of the guys said in 3 the auto rotation is disabled so ive gone back to 2 and just refresh the page as i like the rotation.

I run the phone in desktop mode. Then use google classic not mobile as the search. It uses a little more data but only way I have found to get around the xhtml formatted pages
