Thats no possible... T-T
ahh
i flashed it in my phone and nothing happaned.
i managed to extract the cyttsp-i2c driver from the
driver release by sonyericsson.
all that it shown is
Cypress TrueTouch(TM) Standard Product touchscreen driver
this means that the driver use for us having a cypress digitizer is a common one.
this maybe the reasons that the multitouch was not working. is there anyway to replace the driver with this
Code:
www cypress com / ?rID=40120
the reasons is, this is the only driver for the cypress digitizer, which is working in x10minipro.
is there anyway to hijack the driver in order to load this Cypress Prototype Driver before it loads the standard driver in stock kernel?
You should ask about this in dev theather. If im not wtong devs are thinking same as you in feb/march.
Send from my X8 using... Ble, ble, ble...
i dun have enought post to ask question in dev.
lol. i would need ur help to pass around to the devs
driveraddress obtain
thanks to slade87
any dev will take a look?
So we can also get Multitouch with the cypress digitizer driver ???
Please can a developer do it ?

let just say there are hope. but still alot of things to be done.
you have sticky theme on X8 General forum about multitouch
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=976948
I think you should post this there, so everything is in one place. and there's bigger chance some dev could see it over there.
or find somebody dedicated to this problem in that theme, and PM him

already pm some dev to help on it.
progress are slow because there are only a minor people with cypress digitizer compare to synaptics ones.
the thread is mostly base on synaptics digitizer. joining it up maybe will only confuse even more people.
i have been able to unload the part of the driver but cyttsp core is still active which causes the modded driver to fail.
anyway if I can I'll try to unload the cyttsp core as well I'll take a look again
please try this .ko place in /system/lib/modules/
dont forget to unzip the file first
go to shell and type:
insmod /system/lib/modules/cyttsp_i2c.ko
see if it unloads correctly
type in shell
dmesg
and copy the out put here regarding the cyttsp driver
if touch screen doesnt work anymore just reboot the phone
testing on the way ^^

I just got my X8. and that's my first android phone. So, I still use stock ROM until I get to know phone and android a little bit better.
And at the moment I don't have time to test ROM's, modules, or whatever and play with phone, because I need it to be available all of the time, because of my job.
but I'm following XDA and getting ready to change ROM because I don't like original one. I'm just gathering information for now.
And my experience with HTC touch cruise and winmo says that without XDA the device is only a good piece of hardware, but can be thrown away in few months because of lack of software support from manufacturer
now really sorry about this OT.
Is there a way to know which digitizer I have if I use stock rom with no modifications?
Thank you

Hello everyone. Im new to this site but i was wondering if anyone could help me.
My phone is the htc hd2 running cyanogenmod7 but a few weeks ago i cracked my screen. I replaced the screen and it loaded fine. But the next day i turned my phone on and its stuck at the GO! GO! GO! PLEASE HELP ME!!! Ohh and i cant do anything with the volume buttons cuz they dont work.
I think you should do a task 29 and then install clk. You need to use clk1.4.0.1 I have written an easy to use guide for it. Once clk is installed though quit following the guide because you need to flash team win recovery project(twrp) instead of cwm. Twrp is completely touch recovery.

Did you read that his VOLUME BUTTONS dont work ?

If your phone can not enter the “FourColor DISPLAY” while you hold on Volume DOWN when you turn on the phone。I think the problem could be on HARDWARE
Hello
I rooted my samsung galaxy Y a few days ago.I have installed superuser su ,busybox, link2sd among few apps. They all work well.
since rooting my menu & back keys do not work properly. At times they do not respond at all,in a sense my phone becomes inoperable, so I have installed button saviour as alternative.
also every time i open busy box it looks to install itself all over again.
I am really concerned about the laggy menu & back keys .Pl help!!

Phone is clean .I presume link2sd is interfering or some other root s/w
any more suggestions?
What about Busybox?? It keeps loading & installing each time I open the app
either fingers are oily or its the screen protector

dude, calm down lol,
people are helping you for free you know,
try flashing to stock via odin,
or try CWM and access "Back button enabled" and try to see if it works,
it may also be the choice of your screen protector
i had the same probleme , i changed the kernel , and it's solved
I dnt knw if that would work with you
Thats actually strange...
Flashing, rooting, or doing anything similar just cant make your hardware go like this...
It must be your fingers...
Or you flashed something that is not for our phone..
press on thanx if i helped. if i didnt then press it again....:cowbow:
I got this problem even before I rooted my phone. I got it like 5th month after I bought my phone. Actually it's one of the reasons why I changed my rom to creeds 3.5 hoping to fix it . Just use soft buttons.

I would be really grateful for your time & effort!!

I have a Meizu mx4 ( Flyme Os. - 4.2.2.2A - Unlocked )
Build.Prop -- MT6595
M75 ( i check every line and i don't see any sign of Arale motherboard )
need help to install ubuntu touch, step by step.
He started a new thread with instructions
I know, but is almost the same tuto.
Is like a robot...!!!
No offense.
This guy need to explain the whole process.
Bro we have tried but no success. You can try to flash all partitions of ubuntu touch manually from fastboot. But high % of brick.
Inviato dal mio MX4 utilizzando Tapatalk
Q1 - it's possible to install UT, and use as a daily device with SPTool..?
Q2 - why make a tuto saying, " Another way for flash UT on meizu mx4" ,if you're telling me , that is a high level of Brick.
You see why am so confuse..!!!
P.S. UT=Ubuntu Touch
Q1 No, you can't.
Q2 An guy have bricked him phone with another way.
