CWM Porting...
Like someone asked me.... I would be very happy to develop the CWM Recovery and many other mods if you can give me one esemplar of this phone...

it won't quite work the same, as it will require merging, and we don't have access to that option
my suggestion would be for some one to come up with an DEV index and then maintain it

Problem sending messages 2.3.3
Not quite development thing but here in finland lots of sgs+ users are complaining their sms won't go anywhere. Just fail most of times... if sending second time both attemps go...meaning you pay twice for same message.
I have updated to 2.3.4 so no problems for me.
Has anyone else (in other countries) having this problem w/ their phone (2.3.3) or is this problem actually in software of 2.3.3.
Has update to 2.3.4 fixed this problem or is there any other way??

I tried to compile CWM from source using this guide:

I was able to boot into recovery and I saw some kind of a CWM menu. But it wasn't useable. The Menu appeared twice on the screen, in the upper and in the lower part. The colours are also mixed up. Also the functions like "reboot phone" didn't work.
Someone here who is experienced in porting CWM?

I am running 2.3.3 in the Netherlands (because there is no 2.3.4 update on Kies yet) and here text messaging works fine. Maybe it's Finland/Finnish operator related?

I also didn't have problem w/ 2.3.3 but some have problems. Strange.

Do these people have another operator then you? Might be operator-related then...

Gimme a stock kernel and I can the recovery.fstab etc.
And I can port for you.
(Im not very very experienced and I dont know if I get it working, but I give it a try)

Can someone who has rooted his SGS+, install busybox?
Then use adb to get adb shell.
Execute then <busybox df -h>
If that doesnt work a <df -h>
Post the output here and I can try to make CWM.

I tried it yet without BB on my SGS2 and it works
BTW BB is a set of commands for the terminal.
And you can do "df -h" and post it here

I use cmRecovery now from the rom's original thread ,i tried to flash the NFC destroyer but aborted.Then i tried to switch back to cwm but aborted again Any ideas?Thanks for answering fast
EDIT: I just read that in the incomming alpha 2 NFC is destroyed from source,and also that universal destroyer 3.0 is not yet compatitible with this rom.Still confused about why i cant switch back to CWM.

You can't use this room for L3 ,this one is only for the L5-E610 , if u want to know about other roms for your device make the question somewhere else, this thread is only for questions about CyanogenMod 12 .

Go to system/app and delete nfc folder, then go to system/lib and delete libnfc (are 3 libs)

From where i will do this?pc ?phone? which app to use..... ?

From pc.. You modify the zip and then you can flash it without nfc bug

For back to CWM you should download ROM MANAGER from Google Play. This app install CWM 6.0.2.8 and then you can install again CWM 6.0.5.0
ROM MANAGER INSTRUCTION:
Recovery Setup
Install or update recovery
Confirm model
Download and wait
Reboot to recoery

You can port it and build from sources.
If you want to port,search on google how to port android rom and there is an xda thread
If you want to build cyanogen from sources, you have that on official CM site.

[Help] Build ".auth" file for SP Tool - Meizu MX4

Hi guys, when i try to flash the Ubuntu Touch rom on SP Tool, the tool ask to me an ".auth" file :
"BROM ERRER : S_AUTH_HANDLE_IS_NOT_READY (5000)
This is a secure Base-band Chip! Please select the authentication file first."
I have searched in all the web, the .auth file for the 9565 but nothing....
I have only this 4 file .auth from other chip...can you try to compile it for the 6595? If we have it...we can flash Ubuntu touch on all the mx4 or UNBRICK the phones!!

This is the meizu ecosystem and you need to go to service center to request flash even it's just stock.

Hey @Naphtha has there been any development lately? I am stuck with two boards claiming the auth-file and would be happy to invest some computing power, if necessary, to break this encryption. I saw some postings of you in the meizu-forums on this topic but I'm not so sure what the result was in the end... Would be happy to work with you on this. But since this is quite an old topic, perhaps you have given up and abandoned the device anyway.

After Flashing the photo camera doesn't take pictures anymore (take green photos but video works) but I know that this is a DRM problem. I find a tutorial on XDAdevelopers that tell you how to root and fix the DRM on a Sony Xperia XZ Premium : https://forum.xda-developers.com/xz...hack-mod-sony-xperia-xz-premium-twrp-t3695171
I Checked first if my Sony was compatible with this tutorial, read everything before doing stupid things and all seams to be ok. I downloaded the XperiFix, installed it and put my device on fast boot mode before I launched the program. But after the rooting process, when my device was rebooted, the camera problem was still present and my device wasn't rooted too.
So I want to know if anyone have the same problem or know how to fix that or have an alternative solution. Is it the flash tool that I used that isn't compatible with the Xperifix software or something else ?

this should fix it.
however, its just a fix, you do not get back to locked and unrooted, you will have to stay rooted for the fix to work, so you will maintain root and a working camera
