thanks for your response

May be flashable but for sure is not HTC HD2 compatible. As far as I know there are not custom ROMs developed for it.

so if i install MAGLDR and DAF i brick the phone ?
i want try it

Those programs are developed for HTC HD2 only. You can try to flash in whatever brand you want but I doubt you will succeed. I don’t know if you will brick your device because I didn’t try but the chances are pretty good.
You can try to run an SD build. You will convince about incompatibility without risk to brick your device.

good idea thanks

wow... is that the same HTC HD 2 that we use? Or is it a new HD 2 with stock android? just my doubt... fully confused why this as dual sim support

[Q] Which ROM?

I am looking for a NAND ROM for Android 2.1-2.3 with HTC Sense.
I have been told I am looking for a stock desire ROM.
Where can I get such a ROM and what Radio do I use?
Please tell me where to get the Stock Desire ROM as I can't find it anywhere.
And I'm going to be using MAGLDR if that helps.
depends on whther you want a standard desire rom like skinks or a hd version such as imilka or rafpignas
i personally perfere the hd versions and have run roms from both the above and both produce fantastic roms
currently im using ilmilkas hd ram version which is very very fast with rafpignas 1.9 kernel
Thanks
And it will work on NAND, right?
I was going to use clockworkmod to install it.
Do I just copy it to the SD card and boot clockworkmod?
In this circumstance does the CLRCAD and HARET files matter.
you install it on nand, clrcad and haret are for booting from sd card they are not neeed when using nand
rom desire hd

You can also try HD2 CoreDroid HD. It´s a beautiful ROM, very fast, and stable. The instructions to install it are in my signature. The link is here. Let me know whar you think.

When gingerbread comes with a decent dialer and calendar app I will quit Sense. Until then, it is the best interface for me.

here is a good one im using right now http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=915159
Rafdroid HD 4.0.2 is better than the actual Desire HD. My best mate owns one, my HD2 is faster and has longer battery life.
no Sense rom is better,I am sure.

Can HD2 run Desire HD stock ROM?

Guys,
I am very new with HTC phone, plan to get a HD2 phone hardware, will not use WM 6.5, want to run Android. I know it can run many custom ROM here.
Just want to know if HD2 can run Desire HD stock ROM?
sorry, if this has been asked before.
Thanks
James

Hi,
Yes,stock ROMS are available.
Please check here:
http://android.hd2roms.com/
no you cannot just download a desire hd rom and flash it to your hd2, they have to be ported across first so im not sure what the above is saying
the above too advance for me, is there a easy way of doing this, like sony phone come with pc software, few clicks wait and restart, then you got flashed lastest ROM.
cheers

So I'm guessing you've never heard of CWM?
What he's saying is, you can't just download the desire HD's stock rom, and flash it and expect it to work. E.g. if you go to the HTC website and download the latest desire HD rom there, and try to flash it to the HD2, it won't work.
What you have to do is go into our android development forum, either sd or NAND, and look for a desire HD rom there to flash.
This guide well explain all the quirks of the HD2 NAND world.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021837
you should just read the guides on how to flash android and take a look in the android nand section and all your questions would be answered.
if the above is too advanced you should have bought an desire hd cause this site only showed available android roms for hd2 and has nothing to do with flashing.
just a collection sorted by the newest updated build with a link to it's xda thread.

Task29 clears everything meaning there wont be a rom on your phone then you go on from there, magldr 1.13 etc there are guides within the forum that will get you through it like this for example http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
EDIT: oh and if its an sd build windows is still there, so basically you wont see android until you boot it from your sd
well for naw i see that i will never sell the hd2 ..........he can do everything
best phone on earth !

Thanks Bro.. really helpful info there.. helped me a ton.. what's the best from for the hd2 currently that you could recommend that is stable and battery efficient??
Sent from my TripNiCE Pyramid using xda premium
Cant really recommend roms as what might be best for me might not be for you, so id just read around HERE and see what you might like test a few and if you install them correct you wont have a problem with half of them, some are still in beta so not stable for every day use, look at these 3, these have been up long so most possible the most stable Rom 1 Rom 2 Rom 3 Enjoy...

Q. Sspl versions

I have one super phone, u guess right, HTC HD2, and been tryin different android roms via SD, haret, and just had trouble with one, meaning that only one Rom never installed. Recently have found that my hd2 has sspl 2.10.xx. Most roms are made, or maybe I got it wrong, for sspl 2.08.xx, so(finally) my question is: May be this the reason for lots of bugs on many roms I've installed?
Thanks in advance.

might be coz if you see they mostly advice to have 2.08 & not other version but i'm just guessing

As far as I know SPL version shouldn't affect Android performance, it's more to do with other things such as the WinMo ROM (trust me, flashing a custom WinMo ROM will make Android SD faster, I don't know how, but it did when I tried). Also, you might as well flash HSPL rather than SSPL, I see no advantages of the latter really.

I agree it is just a boot unlocker they say use 2.08 as this is most compatible with Android

Is it possible to install winmo 6.5 + andriod both on NAND HTC HD2 T-Mobile (1024)

Hi, i am of thinking that it may be possible to flash winmo6.5 & android nand rom both together on Tmobile htc hd2 mobile if we divide partition NAND into 2 of 448 MB each, is it possible technically??

No, can't be done.

He's asking "technically", so shouldn't the answer be yes?
Won't MAGLDR version 2 support dividing the NAND into (maybe) two regions, that's of course when if magldr gets released.
Yep that's exactly right, but that's a very big if, and so I didn't want to send yet another noob into the magldr thread to demand an ETA for it and then spend weeks holding out for something that has a good chance of not being here any time soon, when he could be enjoying what the HD2 can already do.

Ignore the above about this made up MAGLDR thing. It most certainly doesn't exist and you shouldn't go to that thread to demand an ETA
