Apparently, when you install the adobe flash player, it has been set as a default player for your KF. To allow other players, you need to go to system setup then select application management then select flash player then deactivate the default option.
After you comlete the above step, you have two players and the system will prompt you to select which player when you ask to play any thing. Do not select a default option if you want to use both of them.

flash player not working

i have upgraded my XDA II windows first edition to 2nd edition using the XDA-DEVELOPERS hack.
it's so great.
but i have a problem, how could i play flash exe files? (when i try to click on the exe files, it doesnt do anything)
should i install a new flash player? (coz there is already a pre installed flash player from XDA-DEVELOPERS hack)
thanks...
try the one @ zevink.com its for internet explorer, it works for me.
thats where i got my flash player...
how do i play the flash files? should it be swf format or in exe format?
when i browse the internet using my xda, swf's that are in a site are working. but what should i do to play my own swf's?
usually you goto an html created page with the flash in it, and it will load on your phone.

flash player

using opera browser, most sites are requesting flash player to be installed. i've done this through the adobe site(version 7) but they require version 10 which doesn't seem to be available. i also have to use the built in ie6 to download mobile applications as using opera displays the phone as incompatible (m850?)
Any help would be greatly appreciated and would enhance my use of me phone.

[Q] Music cant be recognized

just installed HyperDroid 1.6 on my HD2. Smooth install but now the music player wont recognize my music files. opened file explorer and tried to manually launch them and it says the file type is not recognized (.mp3). Any help? Comments? All greatly appreciated, thanks.
I had the same problem (kinda), got a bunch of music in .flac format, but the thing refused to play them (even though the ROM I was using supports it)
I solved it by re-installing the ROM (deleting android folder and copying new)
Or if you don't want to do that you can install an app called "meridian media player" from the android market, it should allow you to play the music.
P.S. I'm using this as my android ROM
Meh, will try the bone stock cyanogen one you linked me. Really like the one i have, seems to have a larger resolution and is a lot smoother. Is the one you linked similar?

UC Browser's Flash Player no longer downloadable

Hi all!
I'm on a custom 4.4.4.
I've been using UC Browser exclusively as a flash player. It's not tagged as an Internet Browser in my phone, but as an emulator .
The thing is the new versions have no support for flash (at least on 4.4.4.), so I never update this app.
I've managed to download an old UC Browser version that works as decent as possible with local .swf files: UC Browser 10.10.8.820.
Along with that one I downloaded the newest available flash player version from Adobe's site - Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.81).
No matter how recent the flash player version I got, as soon as I opened UC Browser I was being told that my Flash Player is outdated and I was advised to get a "newer" one, for a simple tap of a button.
Of course that's dubious, but all aside, this was working great. Also, the other apps that supported flash were able to recognize and use this one.
I somehow uninstalled this flash player and nowas we speak, it' s been pulled down. The browser no longer downloads that particular exclusively working version.
Is there anyone out there that happens to have this particular UC Browser's Flash Player installed or backed up? I would be forever grateful.
Thank you!
