Does our Galaxy Note supports a keyboard via Bluetooth or wired......???
It does support a Bluetooth keyboard, dontbthink wired would work
Anyways why would you want a keyboard for note, the screen is big enough to type, I hate the original samsung keyboard due to the mistakes it makes when I type really quick so I currently use smart keyboard pro which I am loving!

I am pretty sure someone used a USB keyboard through USB otg
The answer is yes.
I connect my Logitek MK 250 wireless keyboard and mouse to my Note using a USB OTG cable.
You can connect both USB and Wireless Bluetooth keyboards. Same goes for flash-drives (USB sticks). You just need the adapter.

Both item will work on the Galaxy Note.
Only that you will need the HDMI connection wire for the TV and also the main charger for the phone. You can use the main charger that comes with the phone but need to purchase a HDMI wire.
The BlueTooth keyboard should work.
Another gadget that is really useful is the USB OTG wire. With this, one can use the phone as the "Host" and connect another device such as keyboard, mouse and external Thumb Drive or SD card to the phone. One can use the mouse, keyboard and also the external drive. You can transfer files from the external drive to the phone and vice versa without the need of a PC. Only problem is you will be using the phone's power as the port is not available for charging. Great for small job and file transfer when PC is not available.
Basically, I just want to know if you can use a keyboard with it that has a micro USB plug. Thanks in advance if you can help me out.
I believe the manual says it supports USB input devices. Mouse and keyboard should work fine.

Yes you definitly can

You can connect a keyboard, mouse, or even a joystick or other input device to your tablet via USB or Bluetooth and use it just as you would with a PC.
You may need an adapter to connect the keyboard or other device to your tablet's USB port. To connect more than one USB Device at the same time, usa a powered USB hub to reduce the drain on your tablet's battery.

Can heartily recommend the Apple Keyboard actually, it pairs up nicely to my Galaxy Tab. That plus a BT mouse and I'm gtg for support issues if I'm out and about. USB connectivity would be good, but the BT solution for keyboards opens up a fair few decent choices. Not tried other keyboards, but the Apple one works as it's so thin to slip in a light bag.
Hi folks,
Recently i purchased a Samsung Multimedia Dock, and am loving it already as its converting my super smart S4 to a Super Smart computer....
only thing i want help from you is can i connect a Wireless mouse/keyboard [using the dongle -mouse/keyboard]
I tried with one of the very old[2years] wireless keyboard/mouse that i am using with my laptop but it didnt responded to the Dock.
Note: normal wired mouse and keyboard where working with DOCK. and also this wireless keyboard/mouse that am trying is a IR based one i believe. also its a one dongle vs both keyboard & mouse.
please help me in this regard
thanks

The smart dock works with HDMI and USB - OTG simultaneously.
Anyone know of a cheaper alternative to use the Galasy S4 as a desktop pc.(HDMI and OTG together)
I need to be able to connect the HDMI to a monitor and simultaneously use the OTG to work with a usb keyboard and usb mouse.
I know that bluetooth keyboards and mouse[mice ?] work with a mhl adapter but i am specifically looking for an option that supports
HDMI out and USB mouse/keyboard.
Any help/links etc to products on the net would be appreciated !!

Hi All,
I am using Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I bought MHL 2.0 and OTG cables.
Both are working fine, if it is used separately.
Meaning, connecting MHL cable to T.V's HDMI for watching movies, videos in bigger screen is superb.
Similiarly, connecting OTG for external thumb drive, keyboard and mouse are nice feature.
I want to use both MHL and OTG cable (wireless keyboard / mouse USB dongle connected to OTG), so that I can watch it in TV and also use mouse and keyboard. I have tried the below options:
Option1:
Connected MHL to TV and Note 3. In MHL we have micro USB for power but for Note 3, MHL don't need the separate power supply and so I have tried connecting OTG to the MHL power, but it is not detected
Option 2:
I have googled and came to know Samsung Smart Hub Dock, but it says not compatiable for Note 3 and S5
Option 3:
Googled more and got this "VicTsing® Multi-functional 3 in 1 Connection Kit USB OTG" but unfortunately this also mentioned not supported to use both MHL and OTG at the same time.
Week back only I have bought new wireless keyboard and mouse for $90 and don't want to spend again in buying bluetooth keyboard and mouse which would cost (more than $150)
Any suggestions on how to connect MHL (for HDMI) and OTG(for connecting wireless keyboard/mouse) at the same time
I can offer you some work arounds. I personally use BT mouse and keyboard. (BTW a kind of stupid oversight I use microsoft sculpt bt mouse that I remember specifically states on the box full android functionality not that I cared at the time, anyway when only the mouse is connected I cant get the on screen keyboard to work as if the mouse HID is recodnized as both)
there are more then a few software sollutions involving sharing HID via Wifi through your pc and router or computer to phone BT connection. or aby tablet as remote on screen HID but I think having a good cheap BT set near by is generally usefull for more then a few things so I do believe its worth the one time spending.
On another note I couldent figure out if Samsung has a Multimedia Dock Specifically for Note 3 since it would be more then ideal

There is one that works
See this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/accessories/mhl-usb-otg-t1741583/page22
SKU: 238273 on DealExtreme DX.com
That is the one I have and the same one "brb8two" mentions in comment #217.
It works perfect with my S4 and also works with my Wireless Xbox receiver, but it is MHL 1.0 which I believe is NOT a full 60frames or whatever, so it may appear slightly laggy but not bad and definitley better than the Samsung hub option for $99.
If you come across one with MHL 2.0 please let me know. Haven't been able to find one yet.
