I had your same problem: i hadn't root acces, then i tried to flash older miui version and then upgrade to this only wiping cache and dalvik cache, now i have root access

i tried to overwrite this version above another previous that su worked but i had problems.i suggest to install first the 2.1.6 multilang first,set it up with titanium set your language and then download from this link http://www.angeeks.com/thread-1965865-1-1.html this version of 2.1.20 for u8800pro.it works and it works very well.i wiped cache and dalvik only.
after 12 hours of testing everything and i didnt fc or something strange
It seams that this ROM has LogCat disabled in the kernel
Can it be enabled somehow?

Hello, you need to use the cwm 5.0.2.7 ....

UPDATE: I have successfully installer Genkolar's Cyanogen 7. After first install I've stucket at Cyano bootloader animation, but then I cleared cache and restarted phone. After that OS booted normally. I still want to use MIUI, what should I try?
It may just be my device, but the built in screenshot feature doesn't work.

You can change the phone setting. Or you can change from build.prop.

This ROM was modified by Korea Phone number format.
You must modify framework.jar.
framework.jar to decompile the need to modify the xml.

So, i study some time about fmradio problem
I get 2 variants.
1-st. Attemp to port fmradio from older roms.
I copied all libs, apps, bin fmradioserver.
Get problem with fmradiostack... It can't bee finded.
2-nd. Attemp to port fmradio from defy roms.
I spoken with Quarx(Russian CM defy developer)
He said that problem, that fm radio don't get control over bluetooth is permissions problem.
He also suggest to add fmradio servcice to 2ndinit.
I added that, but don't get any progress.
Maybe problem with our bluetooth compilation ?

Really Easy!!! just boot into CWM and click on install zip -> choose zip and everything will be explained during the installation. My last version was also made with AROMA Installer, but this time I included more stuff in it. Don't be afraid AROMA Installer is set up in 3 languages; German, English and Spanish.
IMPOTRANT!!! this Rom works only on Defy or Defy+ with Froyo Kernel or Gingerbread 2.3.4/5 Kernel. All with 2.3.6 Kernel can try to downgrade to Froyo Kernel, because the new Motorola Kernel won't work with MIUI. Just use this Tutorial on XDA Developers

If you installed the original Pikachu, remove /sdcard/aroma/ then just wipe cache\dalvik and reinstall. /sdcard/aroma/ stores the install information because I removed a few things that will be in the previous install information.

Really Easy!!! just boot into CWM and click on install zip -> choose zip and everything will be explained during the installation. My last version was also made with AROMA Installer, but this time I included more stuff in it. Don't be afraid AROMA Installer is set up in 3 languages; German, English and Spanish.
IMPORANT!!! this Rom works only on Defy or Defy+ with Froyo Kernel or Gingerbread 2.3.4/5 Kernel. All with 2.3.6 Kernel can try to downgrade to Froyo Kernel, because the new Motorola Kernel won't work with MIUI. Just use this Tutorial on XDA Developers

I added in the camera libraries, changed the build.prop, and edited the scripting so it wouldn't install a Defy kernel. When installing, select Defy from the installer menu and then install as normal. Ignore the 2nd-boot warning and boot with 2nd-init.
Baseband still set to Defy. Just Defy Baseband Switcher and reboot as usual. I only learned how to add in our baseband yesterday, and I created\uploaded this a week or two ago.
This isn't very supported, especially with White Rabbit 1.4 being released and this being a Port, but it works REALLY well and is a Great alternative to CM7. I just thought other Bravo users would like this rom.
I plan on adding our baseband and removing the 2nd-boot warning. Give me a few days, maybe later tonight if I have the free time. It's not hard, I'm just busy during the week when its not raining.

I plan on updating with correct baseband by default, remove 2nd-boot pop up, and remove Defy\Defy Plus & Kernel pop ups. Just taking a day off from rom flashing. I've flashed 5-6 roms a day for the past 2 weeks. I need a bit of a break.

It really depends on weather you like MIUI or CM7. If you like MIUI, go with Pikachu; if you like CM7, use White Rabbit. Make a Nandriod and try them both and find out which you that you like the best.
I can't really say which is "better" since they're both good roms.
I use White Rabbit, but I prefer CM7 over MIUI, and intend to provide support for WR as best as I can. Pikachu is a here ya go hook up I thought the community would like. Although if any issues do come up, its not like anybody here won't help ya out.

Been awhile since I used this rom. Try wiping camera app data in application settings, then cache and dalvik cache in bootmenu. Not sure why its not working for you.

You can flash CM7 Gapps or just add maketupdater.apk from gapps for market to update.
For camcorder, try using the new libraries from the latest Quarx CM7. Add libcamera.so, libcameraservice.so, libcameraclient.so, and libkobecamera.so. Permissions are 0644. I'll make a patch for noobs with the new camera libraries tomorrow. Camcorder could be bad settings in media_profiles.xml as well, so try adding that as well.

Pikachu is TweetyPeety's rom, I only it ported from the Defy. I can port the miui.es 2.4.13, the latest version the last time I checked 3 days ago.

Recommendations:
1. Use ART runtime. Read here why ART is so great: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2622098
2. Set max CPU freq to 1804MHz. This might be too high for some users, set it lower if needed. I get great performance and battery life together with TaurusR.
1904MHz works great as well, but I find that in heavy games the phone heats up too much on 1904MHz.
3. Keep apps to a minimum. The less apps you'll have - the more free RAM and less CPU usage you'll get.
How to install:
Make sure you are running TWRP v2.7.1.0 or newer (CWM won't work!), and using an ICS based ROM (4.0+)
1. Copy CM11 and Gapps zip files to your internal storage.
2. Boot into Recovery (Power+Volume Up)
3. Click 'Wipe'
4. Swipe to Factory Reset.
5. Click 'back', then 'Advanced Wipe', select 'system', Swipe to Wipe.
6. Go back to the main menu, click 'Install'
7. Select the CM11 zip file.
8. Click 'Add More Zips', select Gapps zip file.
9. Swipe to Confirm Flash.
10. Click 'Reboot System'

This error is weird. To fix it, open the zip file, go to META-INF/com/google/android folder, extract updater-script, open it with a text editor and remove the first two lines:

Actually, desalesouche's last shared CM11 build had good in-call sound (at least it was good for me, at this CrysisLTU build, sound is too low for me). Maybe desalesouche and CrysisLTU can collaborate and make a good ROM together.
In installation instructions, it says that after reboot, phone should stuck at boot animation. I don't know if it cares for CrysisLTU, but my phone never stuck at any point. After installation, from recovery, I booted in to the ROM for the first time - no stuck, then rebooted more 2 or 3 times - still, everything was fine.
I think desalesouche's latest CM MK44.2-u8800pro-201402121554-UNOFFICIAL is better, no reboots, no app crashes, good perfomance newest kernel, better sound, I'm awaiting ROM with 3.4 kernel. this CrysisLTU better than any ICS/JB ROM, keep working, thanks

we are collaborating since the beginning and i think it is not finish.
i think i have the patch for that problem will communicate it to crysis.
rom is already good, but we can make it better..:silly:

Because it is ment to be used with Blefish's 3.4 kernel (for U8800 non pro), which has many more features. In the future other settings should work on U8800 Pro.

I followed instructions, everything went fine but I have no service.
I don't remmember what ROM was on phone (P700) before.
Do I need to flash some other baseband or kernel?

Error on ROM
I just got a error saying: assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "p700" || getprop ("ro.build.product") == "p700" (Status 7)
Can someone help me? I already got a error like this when i was installing a ROM some months ago but didn't know who i made it work.

Update your recovery for p705 or delete the first 2 lines in updater script.
No space for gaaps
I have just install the ROM but now it says that i have no space avaliable for the gapps. It need about 370M but i only have 311M. It's wierd because the phone has like 4GB of internal space.

Are you using full package of gapps? If so you can't do that, you must use smaller version of gapps, like micro, nano or pico.

Great job with this rom.
After flashing the rom and the gapps and the V10K baseband the phone still doesn't recognize the sim.
Im using a stock based rom with android4.0.3. What should I do?

Has bluetooth fix? No sync with medianav (only sometimes). The only ROM with full working bluetooth is slimmiui.
I listen 2h music over bluetooth daily with this rom. Not a single problem with it
I have download more than three times, via desktop browser and via android mega app, i've failed. Maybe i just too stupid.
It's this rom locked bootloader ? or this version no block bootloader ?
