How about the first Android theming?
I was thinking about that, but I don't know what an "exact" date for that would be. Do you have an estimate I could use?

Alright, got it and added it. Thanks!
PS... this is a real good idea and IMHO should be stickied
This is fantastic, but why not provide links to the primary forum threads for each item so that people like myself who only have the chance to check back once a month can quickly catch up on what we've missed? =]
I think thats a good idea, I also want to be able to color code certain events so its quicker to locate.
On the Australian website we have Samsung Kies 1.5.1.10083 version.
Link provided here.
It indicates it was released on 17 Aug but the version number is more advanced then that which some people are using.
Can confirm it works on Windows 7 64bit.
Enjoy.
I'm running Windows 7 Pro x64
Works nicely.
You're right, this was released in the past 24 hours. Works on Windows 7 32 bit.
I had no issues with any kies not working on Win 7 64 Bit.. only previous versions had connectivity issues .. which was resolved in Kies_1.5.1.10074_2_6 itself..... Currently am using Kies_1.5.1.10074_45 with no issues ...
Here's the direct link to this file. U can use it with any download manager.
In Europe still there is no update, I have just installed Kies yesterday evening with version ending: ...0074_45.
Anything interesting in the update history, gentlemen?

Is the ...83 really newer than the ...74_45?
kies_1.5.1.10083 was released about a month ago.
But it had major flaws so Samsung removed it 2 days after publishing it.
I don't think it is wise to use it.
I got this wonderful message when I try to do installation
I'm using Windows 7, 64 bits
Did you guys have the 88079.msi file in your c:\windows\installer folder?
For me kies_1.5.1.10083 is working better than 74_45.
Although included Samsung drivers version are newest: 1.3.950 in 10083 and 1.3.850 in 10074_45.
should not be coming with nougat pre installed... mine came with Android 6.0 :0
Will there be a nougat update?
I was curious if there ever is going to be a nougat update for this phone. I have been wondering as it is a newish phone being released this year, and i have seen no signs from HTC saying anything about a nougat update. If i am wrong please correct me.
probably not as HTC isn't good with updates for mid/low end phones.
But this phone is launched in 2017. When Android N was from months on the market. And the price on the U Play is not for mid- ranger. So 500 € for outlet - born phone...

Mine too is Android 6 and i just received the July Security Update for Android 6, which is not a system update or android version upgrade. It is just a security patch.
I a m quite tired to try Software Update button every day for "No updates available for your phone"
..
Hello. This week LG released a new marshmallow update for our G3 D855 devices. I don't know what is changed. Security patch is from August 2016 (even older than the latest released) but build date and kernel are from 25 April 2018

I attached some screenshots.
The initial setup comes with a new privacy policy acceptance step. The new updates wothin EU came because of GDPR
Just purchased a brand new Fire HD 10 straight from Amazon. It came loaded with what appears to be a February 25th pre-release build of 7.3.1.8. I skipped the initial setup so it would not automatically update to the newer locked versions.
Strangely, it reports itself as being a "Fire HD 10 (10th generation)" in Device Options / About Fire Tablet. There was no 10th gen HD10, correct? Perhaps it's firmware related? I have an identical HD 10 11th gen that was purchased in August which was updated to 7.3.1.9 on initial setup, so I don't know what it would have shown. Has anyone else seen this?
Is there anyway to manually update to 7.3.1.9? If so, where can I find the firmware?
