Guys,
I dont want to charge my note when connected to a USB.. i just dont want too many charging cycles on my battery. We had this option on froyo to control what it does.. but in Gingerbread i miss it..
Using Rocket rom 19.. Any setting or app greatly appreciated..

Maybe on service menu, search for combination to open it.

Why do you want to disable it
Doesn't charging the battery frequently decrease the battery life?? I mean whenever I need to transfer a file from the pc to the sd it starts charging won't that affect the battery??

I thought that a frequent charge is better for the battery..
That was with the old batteries, when a chargenof 5% counted as one full charge.
On the new ones 20x5% (100%) counts as a full charge so don't worry.

Please help me, my phone is Atrix 4G, to unlock the phone two days ago when the phone can not boot. Installing the battery press the power button nothing happens, remove the battery, plug in the power only the green light in the light. How should I do?
Google how, to charge your phone without a charger, you will have to sacrifice a usb cable. After you put a charge on it, reflash a gingerbread sbf file. I suggest the 2.3.4 pudding full sbf since you want an unlocked device.

What I suggested involves cutting the end off a usb cable and manually charging the battery with an electric current, if you would have searched there are several YouTube videos that show you how to do it.
If the phone won't start with a charged battery then you have no way of fixing it.

Hi wonder if anybody can help my note for some reason keeps saying on screen that's its charging even when its not plugged in
I've taken battery out but when I put battery back in it shows battery as charging still???
I'm on paranoidandroid v5 was doing it on v4 too

What about when you were in stock rom gb or ics? what about other custom rom. check it out. this may not be any battery saving appn you have installed. there is a separate thread in development section'pararoid rom' check there.

Try changing to another battery. It could be a battery fault. A friend had the same problem and after swapping with another battery, problem gone.

As guys here said,first try to clean ur usb port using atoothbrush and a perfume, second try another battery,wish u good luck

thanks guys will try cleaning my usb as 4 the battery i cant get another one ;( maybe if that doesnt work after cleaning usb i try flash another rom see if that changes anything?

-Does it only work while connected to a computer by a USB cable or is it also useful with a regular charger ?
-Can it damage the battery if used to much ?

It works on while plugged in to any USB port and it works using a wall charger.
I don't think it will damage the battery. I have been using fast charge for a long time. No problems.

Hi guys.. I dunno if this problem was in other topics or not I didnt look because I need immediate help.... I forgot my galaxy s4 charger in the plane and I got a replacement 1 but dont think its original..when I charge it only works 10mints then my phone screen start to flash and I notice that the charging icon goes on and off...help asap plz
