Is it possible to cook HTC SensorSDK 4.x (from Leo, Topaz, Tachi etc.) into HTC Diamond ROM?
I have tried the ones from Topaz and Tachi, but they didn't work. I wonder if any chef had successfully ported HTC SensorSDK 4.x to Diamond, and I would like to learn how this can be accomplished.
I am after HTC SensorSDK 4.x because the new SDK has support for whitelist in the registry for apps auto-rotation.

You may want to try attached package
Hi,
Thanks. Your package works!!
Do you mind sharing from which device ROM the package was sourced from? Did you have to hex-edit the DLL files or the package can be used as-is after dumping the ROM?

hey i was wondering if blackstone will get an offical upgrade to the new touchflo3d (diamond2 or touchpro2) frm htc when the 2 phone releases.
Thanks in advance
I don't think it's reasonable to hope such thing. When you look at the Diamond2 specs, it's nearly a cut'n'paste of the Blackstone's. Allowing an official upgrade to install TF3D2 on the HD would kill the Diamond2 — commercially speaking.
But if you want to get it anyway, you should try some cooked ROMs.
Exactly as clandestino_usr said. For HTC to issue this would kill off other devices by HTC. Rather annoying as Apple give out free upgrades to existing uers, why can't HTC follow suit!!!
You best bet is to use cooked roms. Once new phones come out with newer roms etc, its only a matter of time before a cooked version is available on xda developers. Just wait a while!
interested in this as well. have there been any releases that would allow this?
Yep, there are now several new cooked roms using the 1.56 rom as a base. the 1.56 rom are the roms used in the touch pro 2 and diamond 2 (inclusive of the new manilla/touch flow 3d) - My reccomendation: Dutty's V3 Ship!

hey cool. thanks man. i found a link to wwe 1.56 rom download at htcdriver.com -- couldn't find it when i did a search here in xda. thanks a lot for the help. am downloading now. by the way, i was looking at the dutty rom thread and website for a full list of features that the dutty rom contains, or maybe even a comparison of features side by side with the standard htc rom but couldn't find it --- is that posted anywhere?
does duttys do phone keypad with t9?
i read that somewhere and that put me off this rom
i went ahead and downloaded the dutty v3 ship anyway and yes it does have phone keypad with t9
Unfortunately HD does not have the hardware zoom slider. So we can't do any controlled zoom in the album using these cooked ROMs.
So there aren't any CAB installers present for installation of newer versions of TouchFlo?
I was using cooked ROMs for a while with 2.5 on it, but have went back to the Stock version for the sake of battery life. I'm not impressed by the version 1.3 on it, but I can't find any sort of CAB files for newer versions.
Hi everybody.
I'm using the standard HTC ROM (1.14.406.3) and I would like to update my touchflo 3D to the one present inside the Windows Mobile 6.5 without changing my ROM.
Is there a .cab to do that ?
Thanks.

There is no new TFLO3D in WM 6.5.... I'm guessing you saw a custom ROM where someone cooked in the new TFLO3D from the Rhodium.

Oh, ok.
I saw here : http://ai.rs/2009/02/htc-touch-diamond-2-screenshots/ a new version of touchflo (with calendar and new keyboard).
I'm looking for it.

Here is the new TFLO3D:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493531
But it's for VGA only, i'm not sure what res the HD's screen is but i'm sure someone has (or is trying to) port it to that screen res.
Also, in those screenshots, the Diamond 2 is still running WM 6.1 not WM 6.5.
dwizzy130
yes you'r right.
I saw this version on a WM6.5 custom ROM for the HD (I don't remember its name)
Hi Psykokwak
here is a stable ROM with the new TF3D (it's actually in my opinion the best FRE rom)
http://win-mobile.forumpro.fr/touch...3-os-5221041-version-3-du-14-05-09-t19691.htm
I haven't seen the new tf3d as a .cab so far...

It's not really done from cabs but have a read in the Rom forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=453
for more details
pick one of the roms (read the thread first) and if you have questions check the stickies at the top first
then try asking in the thread for the rom you choose
Gary
Someone made a cab to install the latest touchflo 3D on our HD.
This is highly experimental.

if u mean making the rom you cook android compatible, then you need to test which OEMDrivers are compatible..
I am using 3.14 tmo-us oemdrivers and they dont cause any robotvoice problems for android.. other which i remember working was 2.10 tmo-us and 1.66 htc oem drivers..
as for the others, im not sure so you might have to test it out..
just in case, did u mean making kitchen able to extract and cook android roms?
-for that you need to get an android kitchen..
cheers
t's good, I sandwich the driver TMOUS 3.14
Formatting Tel and settled.
Thank you for your help
Hello Experts,
I am cooking my first ROM and looking for latest Manila so that I can integrate that with my ROM for Topaz/TD2 (I think TD2 is WVGA ? )
When I search I see one thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797602 but that say VGA Sense 2.5.2019.
NOT Sure if that will work for my TD2 ?
Advise please.
Thanks.
Hi,
You may start dowloading the latest 'official' ROM from http://shipped-roms.com
Latest topaz 2.53
Latest Rhodium 2.07
After you get your kitchen setup and working, you can start using newer manila packages (E.G. Leo 3.14). you can download from the same place.
Enjoy cooking.

Thanks for your input. But as I said I am very new so extracting the Manila and using in other will be difficult for me I think. I am using osKitchen for now and working on my first cooking.
Can you zip that so that I can use and later once I become little easy to use kitchen I can do what you advised .
Thanks.
Are there any QVGA devices that have official Windows Mobile 6.5 ROMs out there? I have been searching but keep finding links back to here for cooked ROMs.
I previously cooked a ROM for my Blackstone but used the EXT Packages dump from a HD2 and customisted the bits that didn't work. I want to build a WM 6.5 ROM for a Kaiser and I was going to try and apply the same logic with a QVGA device if there is one?
Thanks, Andy
