[Q] - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

hey u expert guys please help me.
i have huawei u8800 X5, and my phone doesnt boot up. when i start the phone it boots and go till the Android animation text and freezes for a while d angain starts the animation. i kept it for like an hour or 2 yet the same thing.
i tried recovery mode> wipe data/factory reset....... completed > wipe/chche partition.........completed> then reboot system now.............rebooted
and again the same dam problem stuck on the android screen.......
further i tried with Pink screen (pressing VOL+ , VOL-, Power) and tried to replace the boot.img with the new one downloaded for SUPERBOOT option yet the same dam problem. here i realized that my internal memory files are not changing at all even i try to format my internal drive its not formating and then i tried deleting the files complete internal memory properties showing as free space comletely. yet when i come bak to pink screen i can still see the whole lot of files standing again on my internal memory.
I also tried with the firmware upgrade by putting dload on external sd and then the installation starts but end up with message as UPDATE FIELD.
I am just getting exausted on this phone now...........
i just dont understand how can i fix my boot problem........

Try the official update with power cord plugged without battery.

hi thx for the quick response
well but how will i chose from this list of official rom available. i searched XDA and have got a list but i dont know which one to select from. well i tried all of them given in XDA forum officially from huawei and found that all the links are down.
Please if you have a stock rom, send it to me. I am using this Phone in KUWAIT and am not sure what rom i have to go ahed with cause each rom is based on their locations as i noticed. also please give me a step by step follow link if posible, just to check if i am doing it correctly.
Appreciate it.

The location doesnt really matter, there in a clockworkmod tutorial in development section that has international 2.2.2 that is used for downgrade. You can use that, I used that on my finnish version. Worked fine.

i tried the official update without the battery and it went though the installation process but on the 2/2 stage of installation it gets hanged........after even waiting for like hours it doesnot respond and then i have to disconnect it manually......... its not even updating.
can you advise me to flash the entire internal memory with zero level format and is there any image of actual ROM to dump on the internal memory?
Please i am lost..............

Try to repair Image folder. I think is damaged and for this you cannot delete the files inside, and also the update fail to write on this partition/folder and hungs.
Boot in pink screen, connect device with usb cable, and when this folder appears on explorer, push the Up button to go to computer' s drives, right click on this partition, press properties, and use the check drive tool of windows to fix it.

Step 2/2 Installing - Update failed - Bricked?

Hi there!
I tried to update firmwmare with lots of different ROM's (B135,B136,B162,B517,B522) but always getting "Update failed" at Step 2/2 - Installing.
Is this phone bricked?
I cannot access internal card.
Any ideas before i threw it away?
Update: On sdcard i am getting error in file: sd_update.log
notes: (dld_file_ptr != -1) !
dload_sd_file_data_proc-(dld_retry >= DLOAD_RETRY) failed!
Try mounting internal throught ubuntu in pink screen. Then Put b138 there, remove anything else from internal. Then remove battery from phone and put it to charger. Then start update. If it fails, start it again. After that go to recovery and do factory reset.
Sorry for my english. Im in a bit hurry.

As long as you have a working pink screen, anything is solvable .
I do have pink screen and blue screen. I tried to mount internal with vmware ubuntu. But cannot mount it. It doesn't show up at all Don't know how to mount it.
Any ideas or help would be appreciate! Thanks guys!

Thanks julle!
But seems to me that you don't understand the problem.
Here are the steps from blefish:
1 Download update-B518-bootloader.zip from MediaFire.
2 Save it to the root of your SD Card.
3 Start the phone in recovery mode (recommended recovery is 5.5.0.4)
4 Select "install zip from sdcard"
5 Select "chooze zip from sdcard"
6 Select the zip you downloaded before.
7 Select yes.
I am already STUCKED in step 3. Because i do not get to RECOVERY MODE!!!
I am having only PINK screen (VOL +, VOL -, power button) and BLUE screen (VOL +, power button). That's it!
And CANNOT access to internal card on Windows neither on Linux Ubuntu.
Guess Huawei officials has USB drivers to access internal card on Windows or Linux but they don't share them with us
I have android_winusb.inf driver but cannot install it and recognize device in pink or blue screen mode

I got the blue screen when I accidently forgot to put boot.img back in its place on the image partition.
My hypothesis is, based on that, the first UPDATE.APP (the smaller one) changes the partition layout (which would delete all the files), while the larger UPDATE_G.APP starts installing all the files: /system but - more importantly - the image partition where boot.img, AMSS.mbn and recovery.img are stored. If the update did not take, then they won't be there and the bootloader can't start them up. In my case, I was able to mount the image partition in Linux and put the boot.img back. Hopefully I'm talking out of my ass. :\
Ah! I was able to mount the partition in Linux because I'm using the B512 bootloader; you must have the B540 bootloader (or whatever is its equivalent for the U8800). I guess Huawei's laissez faire attitude towards rooting (you could browse / from the computer!) is going away now that they're moving into the big time (deals with AT&T, the Honor etc.). I don't know how you can downgrade if you can't boot to something like recovery.

Actually, these work: http://www.mediafire.com/?j33yo9wy9bspm86
But you can't ADB from the bootloader (or use them to mount a partition); it's for running Qualcomm QPST (though I couldn't figure out how to get it working).
Sorry, but im running out of ideas. It seems you have bootloader locked, and without recovery we cant unlock it... what happens if you install official 2.2 and after error try to install it again? We must get the bootloader unlocked.

So the device should be bricked now? I cannot give back to warranty 'cause i already did it once If i send also this one they will laugh at me and of course they will not give me another phone
But after i installed those drivers you've attached i am getting no more exclamation mark in Device manager. hmmm. Please look at attached pic. What now?
Is there a chance to getting to device through hyperterm or something?

Actually, I haven't tried HyperTerminal on the COM ports/modem - maybe it could, somehow, let you do something? Changing the USB mode would be great...
If you do figure out QPST, you'll need the firmware in a form it can understand - maybe you'd have to get another device to dump its firmware...
Regarding warranty: Couldn't you make the case that it was an official firmware update that caused your phone to brick?

[Q] unbrickable ideos x5?

Hi, I think this is my first post here. Anyway, here the question:
I have an Ideos X5 (not pro), it is bricked. So far, I have followed instruction for recoveries from several threads, but none of them worked because in my phone:
there is no boot screen
there is no pink screen
there is no logo
there are no images of any kind (screen wont even turn on)
it only vibrates when I plug it into my computer
Also *sometimes* the buttons light up and when this happens windows detect a new USB device, but after I while it dissapears again. Also, this happens only with the battery on.
The phone became bricked after I followed instructions to revert back to froyo from gingerbread (wifi wasn't working). All roms were originals from Huawei.
So, any suggestions??
Thanks in advanced.
I had a problem like you.I have deleted amss.mbn file because Huawei locked pink screen, it was bricked But i wasn't so patience enough, i sent my phone to technical care. But here are the answers, try it with caution:

Hi
Space is not enough to flash any ROMs;
Bootloader is locked, you could not edit that sector.
So is there a special ROM that is very small and allows to edit the bootloader?
Here is the MINI ROM:
http://www.mediafire.com/?7c33h84a974va28
Flash it than edit the bootloader~
NOTICE: I format the whole sector ,and the file including IMEI was missing
'Cause I don't know how to edit recovery or other system files like .mbn,
so just delete the abnormal big file and you would be able to flash any ROM s

Ok here's what I did
Download mediafire.com/?1hbk6n46hgamyt6
Unzip it, and find UPDATE.APP
Put UPDATE.APP in a dload folder and upload to empty sdcard.
Put sdcard in phone, and hold vol+/- and power and flash it.
After phone has restarted pull battery.
Download http://www.mediafire.com/?6hrfz36b8e2vw87
Unzip and copy the dload folder to empty sdcard.
Hold vol+/- and power and flash it.
After it fails near the end or if it restarts then pull battery.
Download a rooted boot.img and a clockworkmod recovery.img (got both mine from links at modaco)
Attach phone to PC in pink screen mode and delete the boot.img and recover.img files.
Upload the downloaded root.img and recovery.img to image folder in phone.
Download any custom rom from XDA, I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1475687 and upload it to sdcard
Pull battery.
Hold vol+ and power and go into clockworkmod, wipe everything and flash the custom rom!!
Good luck!

Tried taking off the battery for 10 seconds and after that inserted USB into computer (without battery)? Also try to take off battery and insert USB to wall-charger.
The buttons lighting up could be our way out, but if it only stays there for a couple of seconds it doesn't help. Can you see what Windows detects?
Hi again,
thanks for answering.
None of your suggestions worked anyway, because it won't even load anything from the sdcard, it just makes a short vibration and nothing more.
I managed to get the lights on again, but windows didn't show what kind of device it was, maybe because it's already installed but I'm not sure which usb device is it (windows did make a sound though, like "device is connected" sound). Also I noticed there's a red led blinking near the speaker, does that mean anything?
Anyway, tried to flash while the lights were up but it did nothing, and after two minutes the went off again.
Thanks again for your suggestions.
I connected the phone to my laptop with ubuntu, and despite I cannot do anything with the phone, there are two devices created in /dev: hiddev0 and hidraw0. Is there a way to flash the device using any of those files?
thanks again.
Worth a try on this post : Here
It is fried then
Try mounting those two devices, is there any file system recognized? It might not be bricked, but this is an issue probably nobody has had yet. Send it in for repair if it is still within warranty.

blue/pink screen - stuck

Hi all,
I have a bit of a problem.
I had an old Oxygen (?) 2.3.? but wish to upgrade to ICS so after installing the 'official' 2.3.5 was following steps in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1420728.
I got up to the bit about installing Clockworkmod. When I tried to go into recovery mode for some reason (I must have screwed something up) it went back into the Firmware update (presumably because I still had the sd card with the 2.3.5 updated on it). It gets through the first step of the update but when it goes to start step 2 it comes up with 'Update failed'.
If I remove the sd card and try to start up normally I get the blue screen.
I can get to the pink screen but I'm not sure what to do from there.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
H.

Thanks for the suggestion. How do I see what is missing? I have tried various USB drivers but so far haven't found one that will mount the device. Do I need to use logcat with adb?
Any idea why it will no longer allow me to simply reflash the stock rom?
By the way, the device is the standard u8800 - not the -pro.

Not in blue screen, you must go to pink screen mode(by pressing vol+/- end power when the device is turned off). There you'll be able to see the folder with the system files on pc.

Now I'm confused.
When I connect the phone to my Windows computer (tried XP and 7 in both pink and blue modes), the device does not register. Windows detects the new device and asks for drivers. I have tried different ones but none that I've tried so far will see the device. If someone could give me a link to drivers that definitely work I would be most grateful.
Like I said in my original post, if I leave the SD card in it tries to do the firmware upgrade but fails. Is there no way to 'reset' the phone somehow so that the firmware upgrade will go through? Perhaps downgrade to an older version first??
Thanks,
H.
There is not blue screen mode. Blue screen just shows that the system files don't exist. If recovery image doesn't exist you get a blue screen when you try to reboot to recovery mode. If you cannot boot normally, probably boot.img is erased(or maybe all system files which are on Image folder are erased).
Also if you had flashe an official rom version higher of B518, you probably have a locked pink screen, so it doesn' t matter if you have or not drivers because you cannot access the special partition which has the Image folder with all system files anyway.
Now, if the update proccess of official rom stops or second step(after unpacking proccess), probably a partition on the device is corrupted and the update cannot write to it. There is a special update, which you can flash with the same way as the official rom(put it on dload folder), and maybe can solve the problem. I' ve posted it on another thread here before some time. The filename is: update-160up
try to search the forum and hopefully you will find the thread(which has some isntructions and comments also).
You can try to flash a 2.2 official rom also. Maybe the update will succeed then.

[Q] Acer Iconia A501 - Frozen @ Acer Logo

Yet another Newb
I have googled / search / read many posts & threads over the past days & weeks.
I had a Acer Iconia A500 freeze @ the Acer logo screen like so many other have had, BUT I managed to fix it last time.
My mate has an Acer Iconia A501 ( so its got a sim card as well ) & its done the same thing.
I have tried the same process as the last 1, but to no avail as yet.
I'm needing some help please guys as I bet its something really simple , but I cant see why its not working for me.
OK AFAIK its all been stock Acer roms & OTA updates.
Processes so far..
Power on & hold down volume + & slide screen lock get this & then reboots
erasing user data .. erasing cache...
Power on & hold down volume - & slide screen lock get this
Bootloader v0.03.12-ICS: starting fastboot USB download protocol
Power on & hold Volume - release power button when it vibrates / starts to boot , still hold down vol button
I have tried the same update.zip file as my last A500 experience , but it got me to the android icon with the spinning globe for hours, left from any where from 40 mins to over night & same basically a lockup. then tried again & somehow got it to almost 90 ish % & stayed like that for ages.
Now I can only get it to see the green android guy for 10-12 seconds before he falls over & dies with the red triangle & black exclamation mark inside it.
I'm not fussed on what rom etc or even stock acer again as I can OTA it back up to last again.
I would just like it to work again & see where I am going wrong...
Anyone able to assist in my error please.
OH micro SD card is formatted to Fat under Win7,
OR should it be Fat32 ?? ( I am going to format with another A500 Tablet & hope it works better )
Also when I go to start it
Power on & hold Volume -, release power button when it vibrates / starts to boot , still hold down vol button
it shows on screen that its erasing data before booting & seeking the update.zip file from sd card etc..
SO it looks like its all doing what it should be , but then doesn't.
Still looking for the reason why this flash recovery wont work.
Using various versions & ensuring all are renamed to update (update.zip file) & messages on booting are the same.
looking for / accessing update.zip file etc etc
Android guy sits there & now I cant even get the status bar below him , its just the guy 10 seconds & dead with his guts hanging out
Any thoughts or a correct file to go with the bootloader appreciated.
Am I doing something wrong OR is it that corrupt its stuffed ???
Thanks to you guru's for assistance
Next instalment
My next instalment on the "unhappy" A501
I have moved my trying to an XP Pro SP3 machine.
I have installed the USB driver package & also the Windows update for the MTP.
I plug in & turn on , windows detects the Acer Iconia A500 & loads into Dev Manager as Acer MTP
It doesn't load enough to appear as a separate drive in the "My Computer" though.
I spose its a small step , but still getting no where.
Please Help :crying:
as I would like to hand this back as I need to move house & it will take some time for me to get setup again to be able to look at fixing it.
Ask for more info & I will reply ASAP
Uninstalled the MTP update , same for the USB driver package & rebooted.
made sure the Acer dir had gone as well.
Installed USB driver pack again & looked at that it contains.. MTP folder & drivers are in there already ..
Still shows up as Acer MTP & nothing in My Computer.
I did see that it shows up with the yellow exclamation mark after a while & then re connects again. ??
IF I start Blackthunders A500 Filemanager using the power button / vol + & flicking the screen lock on/off, I start with Bootloader ver & "starting fastboot USB download protocol.
IS this any help to fix the tablet ??
edit : How do I confirm it has USB Debugging turned on IF I cant turn it on ???
Hi Noel, sorry you got troubs
Your ext sd card should really be formatted via android, although there is a tool for windows you can use called sd_formatter, HP also have a formatting tool, google either one - I have previously posted the sd_format tool "here somewhere" will provide the link if I can track it down.
The drivers are the most important part of getting your tab up and running again.
If you have the Acer ones and the USB ones installed correctly, you should be good to go. In saying that, it can be a real biarch when you're in the position you're in.
Uninstall the acer drivers, reboot. Do not have your tab connected, wait for windows to fully start and its done updating itself or woteva it needs to do lol.
Run the driver exe. If your tab is not booting its hard to tell if usb debug is enabled or not. ANd windows will have trouble detecting it....sooooo......
Go to the root guide in my sig, post #2 download the "babsector file". You will also need to download an ics or jb rom, there is a stock rooted ics or you can use one of 'civato's' Flex roms - I'm still running one of his old ICS ones and it does me fine, I've not kept up with the latest roms, so I cannot help you much with that sorry!
Download your rom and put it on your sd card (if theres a formatting issue we will find out very soon!!!)
Babsector is run via your PC, now, win7 32bit systems work best for this, so if you aint got one, find a mate thats got one! You will save yourself alot of grief by not using win8. Even XP or vista will work!!
You'll need to enter your cpuid so keep that at the ready.
Babsector will flash cwm recovery and install the unlocked bootloader for you.
After running the first bat file, enter recovery and do a complete wipe, (enable data/media option) It has to be a FULL wipe theres no getting around it. And yes, do the wipe procedure at least TWICE!!!!
Once the wipes are done, flash the rom and then run the b.bat file for good measure. As long as you see the big white "PASS" after running each bat file, you're good to go.
IF there is a problem, babsector will output an error....post that and we'll go from there!
Good Luck

Hi Noel, sorry you got troubs
Your ext sd card should really be formatted via android, although there is a tool for windows you can use called sd_formatter, HP also have a formatting tool, google either one - I have previously posted the sd_format tool "here somewhere" will provide the link if I can track it down.
The drivers are the most important part of getting your tab up and running again.

Morning dibb
I have the Acer USB driver pack that has MTP files as well, is this all I need or maybe that's the start of my problems ??
( Acer ones and the USB ones installed correctly ?? )
1 of my many issues is that as its not my tablet , I don't have the cupid at all.
It wont start so I cant get it that way , & tried to connect with blackthunders A500 file manager as well but doesn't output any data that I can see / find.
Im thinking I have to flash with an unlocked bootloader before I can do anything - Yeah ??
I am quite happy to eventually go back to stock ICS @ the ends so anything is good.
R u familiar with Linux at all, its the only way of retrieving yr cpuid.
If not, it will be a matter of finding an update.zip that will work 4 u. There is one in the root guide u can try?

Hi
Not played with any Linux before so this might be funny at best to say the least.
the update.zip you suggest , is that the HC 3.1 full ??? (then rename to update.zip) on sd card & try ??
Yep, there's a guide stickied in general for using Linux to get it.
And yep the hc 3.1 FULL. If u get it booting you can OTA all the way to ics, but that's quite time consuming. So root it and install cwm, that will get u yr cpuid. After that unlock the boot loader!!!
I see there's a kit Kat Omnirom, based on civatos flex Rom, gonna give it a spin myself

Tried using USBdeview to get the cupid, found a sting with 15 character's so tried that with a "0" at the start.
used the SB calculator & then blackthunders APX flasher , but it didn't work.
got all the way through with out any issues , but didn't actually flash it
Had assistance from JdgM3NT4L but still trying
the issue is the CPUID though to ensure I have it
more help the better

Hi dibb_nz
with lots of help from JdgM3NT4L I now have the cupid & can get through all of Blackthumders apx flasher up to the 2nd stage of the flashing where its uploading the image file.
it goes into this about 50 % then just hangs...
How long should it normally run for the flashing ??
.
Oh dear, this is not an error u want to see...Would explain the freezing issues. I've never seen a suuccesful solution for the ebt error. Just keep trying sooner or later it will flash....also the tdv4 file has been known to work , you'll be back on hc 3.2 with that but you'll have root and cwm if that's any consolation, lol...
The manual nvflash methods work best babsector or civs nvflash. If it is a faulty chip then even if u do get it booting it won't be a permanent fix.....
See how u go with the other methods k?

Ok
looks like its almost a lost cause..
using civs flasher in APX mode under win7
gets through the start of the flashing to failed executing command 25 NvError 0x120002
command failure: sync failed <bad data>
bootloader staus : Bct Write Failed <code22> message : nverror:0x42008 <0x6042008> flags :0
then it has *press anykey when your A500/501 is in botloader mode
press any key to continue .. so I did anyway
flashing bootloader : bootloader_v8.bin
nvflash started
[resume mode]
formatting partition 4 please wait.. command execution failed cmd 13, error0x120002
failed!
command failure: format partition failed <bad command>
bootloader status: unknown operation <code: 1> message: flags:0
.
When u tried the apxflash tool earlier, there's an option to "dump" yr bct - If u didn't do that try dumping it, and then choose " use saved bct' , sorry dude its been a loooong time since I've had to do it so I may not have the wording exactly right

Ok thanks.
Will try that as well when I try #17 again shortly.
will make sure tablet is connected in APX before I click "dump"
I assume because I get all this way with multiple programs , the CPUID & SBK have to be correct ??

no signs of life (no charging led, nothing on screen) after OTA update

So yesterday I got a notification for an OTA update (I'm on sprint). I am rooted, have xposed, and have twrp installed. Partly because of my stupidity and also just to see what would happen, I clicked download and install now. Now the phone doesn't show any signs of life, even after taking out the battery and trying to drain the capacitors by holding down power then putting the battery back in. Doesn't show up on my computer when plugged in, and doesn't have any power led when charging. I've tried 4 batteries with it (lol I have too many) and they all don't work. They were all charged with external anker chargers. I've tried with the sim card and sd card taken out, too.
So yeah, my phone is dead and I have no idea what to do. I'm pretty sure I'm out of warranty because it's been two years and I've modified it.

You might consider to have a look here if you didn't do it already mate : http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/note-4-debrick-img-t3488114
If you need the debrick.img for the sprint varient, I can give you that.
I thought OTA would not install, if you were rooted and had a custom recovery.

Hey, thanks for the help. I'm not sure how to check if my device is hard bricked? Is it normal for there to be no signs of life at all, not even power LED or vibrations? I can't get my phone to the download mode in order to show up in odin so I'm not sure how I would flash the unbrick file. When I plug my phone into my computer windows says that the device has malfunctioned and I can't find it in the device manager.

It's worth to try it i think. Some users got back their phones to life using this method. @RDChase is offering you a debrick.img for your variant. This method is using sdcard so no worries at the moment with Odin
Similar thing here, Sprint, TWRP, rooted, stock rom one of the early ones v4.4.4?!
Over last couple month it kept trying to update itself at night, very sneaky!!!! I have disabled auto-download and update BUT clearly it found a way around it, bastards!
It was in a reboot loop, extremely hot and buzzing, woke me up in the middle of night, I thought it going to burst in flames like Note 7!
So I pulled the battery out and left it out till morning, but now it no longer powers up, no LED, black screen, PC keeps saying USB drive malfunction and un-recognized, can't put it in recovery or download mode! Odin doesn't detect it also. PC device manager doesn't detect it either! Used volt meter to check both batteries both are fully charged up, but it doesn't show LED charging light?!?
Is there any way to un-brick it?
Again, I repeat phone does not power up and PC doesn't detect it!
Please help, if I can't un-brick it than I have few days until end of year to catch deal on upgrade to LG V20, hopefully it can be un-looked and rooted????
Edit: Just read online there is possibility that Note 8 is coming out either in April or Early August 2017!!!!!!
I need my Note 4 working again and last until new Note 8 comes out!

Will mounting De-Brick.img on sdcard even work if phone doesn't power on or go into download/recovery mode?
Yes. Instead of booting from internal memory, the cpu will boot from the external sdcard. Make sure you prepare it correctly however. The sdcard must be the 32GB+.
Take a look at this.

Is is for the s3, I know... However, it's the same stuff happening.
This works on a soc level, not the bootloader level.

Removed, can't get it back either

:good: Thank you for debrick.img was looking for Sprint one everywhere!
Is it supposed to be 128mb or around 4Gb?
Debrick.img doesn't includes stock Rom, does it? If it does which version?
Next Steps:
1. Copy debrick.img to sdcard?
2. Put in sdcard + battery +press VolDown+Home+Power?
3. USB connect to PC + flash new Rom using Odin?
4. Root again?
Is this correct way to do it?
Has it worked for anyone?

I'm confused, I correctly mounted the image to the sd card and I put it on the phone with a fully charged battery, and tried booting into download mode thru home + volume down + power. it doesn't show anything on screen or any LEDS. it's connected to the computer but it says "usb device malfunctioned". Thanks for your help
I can't get into download mode even with the unbrick sd card in, I mounted it with win32DiskManager and everything. No charging LED or screen or vibration at all.
I installed qualcomm drivers and it shows up as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008"
After some research looks like this is the only method that would solve my issue.. problem is that nobody has released the files needed to do this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/unbrick-samsung-galaxy-note-4-sm-n910w8-t3249970
Edit: Would a USB jig help me?
dead4ngel - to permanently fix it, just Odin the stock firmware
Others - I wasn't clear in how to prepare the SD card.
To prepare it properly you image the SD card with the debrick image file. This has to be on a 32+ GB SD card. (On a Linux machine where your in the folder with debrick-n910p.img is located and your SD card is /dev/sdx the command is dd if=debrick-n910p of=/dev/sdx)
You then put it in your phone, boot to download mode (it may take a few tries), then Odin a stock rom (PH1 or PK1 only) which MUST contain the bootloader
After this you don't need have the SD card be prepared like this, your bootloader will be fixed

:good: Again thanks a lot for debrick.img it worked, you saved my butt!
Here is what I did to make it come alive, it did take couple trial and errors on my part.
Warning DO NOT copy & paste image file directly onto sdcard, it wont work!
Instead use the diskimage win32 software that was mentioned in Debrick thread before.
I used it to unpack and write file from debrick.img onto 16GB sdcard (only one I have) using that little piece of software.
I plugged in sdcard + battery, than pressed power button and phone came back to LIVE:angel:
Now it is back in my original KitKat Rom v4.4.4 still booted from sdcard, I was able to transfer all my documents and photos to my PC, thank God!
Ps screen got very hot again while it tried to run another software update, I killed it with task manager and turned off Data+WiFi radios for now, until I re-Flash from Odin!
Now for next step to flash new ROM using Odin, do I have to flash original KitKat 4.4.4 or Lollipop 5.11 recovery or can I just flash stock Marshmallow 6.11?
Is there stock Sprint+rooted+De-Odexed Marshmallow 6.11 version I can safely flash?
Do I need to root again each new ROM?
pLz i want to update jn lollipop halp me
