SD card error on boot... Please help!

When I boot my rooted CM 5.0 beta 5 Nexus, the "preparing SD card" shows in the statusbar for about 30 seconds. It used to only show for 2-3 seconds. If I try to open "music" I get a message "we have encountered an error with your SD card" and then it says "scanning SD card". It will then load the music, so it works, it just takes a minute. Also, if I open gallery right after the "preparing SD card", it shows all the thumbnails for a half second, goes blank, and then takes about 45 seconds to load the thumbnails again. It is obvious that I have an SD card error, so how do I fix that? I have run chkdsk numerous times... I have tried removing folders from the SD card, and I am having trouble isolating the problem... Is there an alternative disk checker that I should know about? Please help! Thanks!

Anyone?
Well, you can take your SD Card out and put they in laptop (most of the new one) have card reader build in. Now you can run check disk on the sd card. See is it defective or not. But in many case is the bug in the rooted and after market rom causing those issues.
I did already run chkdsk several times... It showed no errors. I also used the 4gb card that the phone came with, and got errors with that one too...

Quick Fix to SD card not recognized GS4 for Windows users.

Okay so if your sprint galaxy S4 gives an error that "SD card removed" "insert sd card" then I have a quick fix for you.
This fix will only work if you have Microsoft Windows XP and above.
Step one!
Open up a file explorer.
Step 2!
plug in your SD card and make sure that the computer recognizes it.
Step 3!
If SD card is not recognized then unplug and try checking if it is recognizable on any Linux Distrobution.
If the card is recognizable:
Right Click the SD card and then click properties
Then go to tools and click Check Now under Error Checking
Click run when the dialogue apears and wait

When complete, eject the SD card from the system tray and then plug into your device. It will temporarily fix the problem. It worked for my phone and it may work for yours. If you have any issues related to this problem try this and see if it helps. Used to have to use this whenever our hard drives would fail during a class project. This Error Checking Does Not Have to find any errors. As long as it says it is completed this should work.

SD Card formating for no reason

Hi,
I let my phone fall and when I re-open it the message "SD card as been removed" shows up but my sd was in the slot so I remove her and put it back but my phone doesn't want to recognise it so I try to go in settings and unmount it and my phone freeze, when it boot up ,the sd is detected but all my data as been removed !
What happened ?

MicroSD stopped working all of sudden

My microSD all of sudden popped up on my phone saying "SD card blank", could not open anything or format it on my phone, brought it to the computer, the pc recognizes it but unable to open it to view the files, when i double click on it it just asks to format but it is unable to format, it says "windows is unable to format"
I tried downloaded SD formatter and it says the card is write-protected but i just and it isnt
Anyone else have any other suggestion, this is a samsung 64gb evo microsd

"Blank SD Card" error on every SD Card I insert in the phone

I'm seriously confused.
My original SD card is recognized on my PC, but when I place it in my phone I get a "SD card is blank or has unsupported filesystem". When I click the notification it asks to format. I press format and the notification goes away for a second and then comes back with the same error. I tried formatting it again on my pc and I still get the same error.
It's not the hardware of the phone since it can recognize me removing and adding a SD card. It's not the software because I flashed another firmware and still got the same error. It's also not the SD card since it's recognized by my computer and I also get the same error on my phone with another SD card.
Does anyone have any idea what's happening? Or what I can do to fix this?
It started while I was trying to flash a custom deoxed firmware on my phone.
