ZTE Crescent stuck on android logo - Blade General

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I realty could do with some help rebooting my San Francisco 2/ ZTE CRESCENT. I was a bit nervous about unlocking and debranding the phone so I sent it to a man on eBay to unlock+ debrand. Everything was OK on return. The problem happened last night when I tried to put it in CWM recovery pressing the power on with volume pressed down. All that happened was a white screen with TPS or something similar wrote on it and I could not get it to reboot so I pulled the battery out and powerd on and now it just stays on the android boot up logo. Is there anyway to reboot the phone and if so what file do I need and what to input . As you guessed I am not a wizard on phones or P.C s so any help would be really appreciated as I do not want to bin the phone. Thanks Jason.

Orange San Francisco 2 unlock
Have someone made the unlocking of ZTE Crescend?

Looks that way as contacted the guy that unlocked it and the only advice I have is not to worry try restarting the phone. I would never have thought of that. Then when I replied that that's the first thing I tried and I think I should return the phone to him and cover postage he replied " I think it's better that I sort it out". On his advert on Ebay he guarantees not to brick your phone. What he has done to it I have no clue he certainly has not followed any of the guides to unlocking the crescent that r posted all over the web. And my only chance now is to try and find out what software he used. Have you any suggestions?

How i screwed up my HTC Universal ?
I tried to Hard Reset it when the battery was running on low power and while the process of hard resetting was going on it suddenly shut down due to low power and now it wont even enter bootloader mode....Any help guys ? i purchased it from dubai and i dont even have any HTC repair centre in my city...not that i know off.
Right now i removed the battery of my Phone and i placed it on charging just hoping that there is an internal battery in the device and when it gets charged i should be able to go into bootloader mode but im not sure if what i think is right .
Still unable to find any solutions guys....help me out please.

Yes i am very sure, As i have previously installed many ROMS on it but this time its not even going into bootloader mode.
I doubt that the bootloader mode itself is currupted or something is there a way to install a fresh bootloader mode ?

Thanks for your help. I've tried the remedies outlined in the PDF document, including flashing the memory via the SD card. This does not solve the problem.
Any suggestions?

Yes, that's the funny part; can enter bootloader mode. I've followed the instructions to burn a new ROM to the SD card. After I burn the new ROM to the SD card, I can then burn the new ROM, but as soon as I choose to hard reboot my device, I receive a message reading; CLEARING, then the display fades and nothing further happens.
I will post this answer in the other threads with this problem, but I installed Tomal's WM6.1 v8.2 and the phone worked fine afterward. I think the problem is that some phones don't accept all ROMS.
If only i could enter bootloader mode i would have tried whichever rom you would have suggested but my problem is different i cant even enter Bootloader mode.
And i think only a service center can help me nothing else.

Hello there...Welcome to the club bro...
Funny thing is i gave my phone to a Local service center and he was able to get it in Bootloader mode but couldnt install a proper ROM as he didnt had one...so i got my problem fixed and i sold my jasjar two days ago for 5000/- Indian Rupees...Thats around $105 .
I have promised myself that i will NEVER buy an Imate as they dont have proper service centers here in my place.I am planning to get Sony X1 now
My suggestion to you...get it repaired and sell it before it gets messed up again.,its a very delicate and very pain in the @$$ phone.Im so happy now ^.^
Mods :Can lock this thread now...i no longer own a jasjar.
How They Get in Bootloader?
Using JTAG ?
Or there is another trick ?
Because Normal combination of key don't work
...
Can you try to find out ?
Thanks

motorola Atrix 4G bricked

hi,
yesterday i try to put a room on my Atrix 4G but then i got a loop on the motorola logo i wait for an hour, then i saw a post to unbrick my atrix, i did all the steps and now the phone doesnt turn on, just the led light in green sometimes. suggestions ?
thanks
For 1 the phone was only soft bricked you could of sorted it via recovery. We need more info what ROM what steps did you take?
Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
the rom was gingerblur. i follow the instructions but it failed, then i use the RSD to unbrick it but it failed too,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991595 <--- gingerblur
instructions i followed
http://briefmobile.com/atrix-4g-rom-installation-guide
can somebody help me ?
You're using antiquated directions, from April of last year. There are much more ROMs and recovery software now that are better. Can you get into recovery mode or RSD mode by pressing the volume down when you see the motorola logo? hard to tell where you're at right now.
my phone is plug into my computer without the battery and the only thing on is a green led when i try to turn it on anything happen...
im affraid if i hard bricked my phone i just got it this week and i try to change gingerbread stock rom because i dont like it and now doesnt turn on...
i plug my phone with a wall cord and now i see
SVF: 105:1:2
Failed to boot 0x1000
entering NvFlash Recovery mode
battery is too low to flash
I'm not sure what you did to undo your original brick, but you likely flashed a SBF file that was a downgrade or something. If all you see is nvflash, you're hard bricked. From what you've told us in this thread, you used a pseudo ROM that hasn't been updated since June of last year, using a recovery that is ancient and irrelevant, and directions that did not apply to your situation. Sorry man.
Source: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1160408
it probably voided the warranty. So, you would have to pay to have it re-flashed. That might come in a little cheaper than buying a brand new one.
i actually messed it up too when i flashed my atrix for the first time but people are very helpful here n they helped me get it fixed. im trying to find that post n ill post it as soon as i find it. had a different account

Hi,
Please be more descriptive. Does the splash screen appear? Can you go into Download Mode? What do you mean by "I already tried to press all buttons"? Also, when exactly did you remove your battery? There are many points there that can bring you a hardbrick, however, it can be nothing more than a softbrick as well...
Provide this further info and then I may try helping .

Thanks for your reply, the splash screen doesn't appear and i can't get into any mode. It doesn't react in any way. Before this happend i installed the app; RegionLockAway and tried to unlock my boatloader. Thats when i accidentally removed my battery and i can't turn it on since then.

well if you cant even enter download mode ive got bad news

is there no way to bring this phone ''back to life'' ?
No, I believe it's perma bricked if you can't even get into download mode
Well when something like happened to my s2, i used a usb jig to get it back to life.
But that was in the case of a soft brick.
Still you can try on the GS4.
I AM NOT SURE IF THE JIG WOULD WORK.
But you can always try.
Thank me if it worked by any chance

Hi,
It does look like a hard brick like you mentioned, so that means the only way to save it is a JTAG, when my S4 stayed in a similar way nothing worked, except for JTAG.

it was passed to me this way, stuck on splash screen.but apparently it was flashed with a stock firmeware and this is the result, stuck on splash screen. the rest i found by trying to put it into download mode to try and revive it.
will ask tomorrow what file they flashed.
what model of edge is it.
judging from bootloader problem, they may have flashed the wrong software on it.
hmm strange one, i got up this morning and nothing on the display, entered download mode and flashed no plroblem, phone revived lol

Well, dammit. That's good news for you, but I was hoping for some de-bricking (unbricking?) method to be discovered and laid out here in gory detail. Cause I'm weird like that. I haven't bricked my phone, and don't plan to, but I always like reading about other people bricking and fixing their phones, in case it happens to me.

Did you ever end up unbricking your S7? I am having the same problem that is outlined in this thread and cant figure a way out of it. Please help me if you can.
same problem here . any ideas ???
Wipe the data/partition cache if you can boot into recovery mode.
Or try to hold Power + VOL D -- wait 10 seconds until phone reboots, then let go of power button but keep holding VOL D-- see if you are in downloading mode.
