As some members are not able to post into Dev forum I am opening this thread in order of getting feedback from you. Please note that the original post are on Dev forum because the ROM is not yet fully ported. Consider yourselves as beta testers

Thanks to dangpzanco and walter79 for support and ideas.
This is a simplified method of installing MIUI into Milestone2 devices. This ROM is based on Defy's WajkIUI 1.8.12 - MULTiLanguage. It's still a experimental port so not everything is working fine. With this package you DON'T need to flash any SBF into your phone.
Requirements:
- Froyo or GB rooted phone.
- CWM Recovery 3.0+. You can get it here.
Installation:
- Download update.zip to your sdcard.
- Boot into CWM Recovery
- Apply update.zip
- Wipe data/cache/dalvik cache/battery stats
- Reboot.
Working:
1. Compass.
2. Sensors.
3. LED.
4. CWM Recovery
5. Device Keyboard
Not working:
1. Virtual keyboard half size.
2. ALT LOCK key from keyboard ( you can double press ALT instead of ALT LOCK )
3. Media HW play, only support .MP4 hardware decoding
4. keyboard backlight is not working

Can you describe the headset problem with more details?

Headset button works for answering calls and miui music (long press for next song).

I'm currently using GigerBeta5 and the overall felling is great so far. I'm really glad we have a few options now.
I'm deciding if I will give MIUI a try or wait for a gingerbread kernell version.

Does this ROM still have MotoBlur?

Blur is only on Moto official ROM. CM7 and MIUI are 3rd-party ROM, you will never see blur on them.

hello!
running GB rooted (Blurless ROM), i've booted into recovery, applied, the update, wiped data/cache/dalvik cache/battery stats and now, when I reboot, i get stuck in red M (Motorola logo).
have I done anything wrong?

in /system/build.prop, make sure it is

Edit /system/build.prop and delete this line:
ro.media.capture.flip=horizontalandvertical

We have 2 versions of recovery into bootmenu: latest and stable. Have you tried both?

Yap, i reboot for many times and tried both, till now it still cant mount sd card.

Are you using Milestone2 A953 or ME722 (china)?

Pink colors after update to ics

I get a problem after update my galaxy note to ics official. I dont have white colors on my screen... just pink glow. help!! sorry for my english

Try maybe restarting your phone, if that doesnt work. Try pulling out the battery and wait 5 minutes then put it back in and start the phone again..

I try this like a 20 times and nothing

no its pink. only when i do sequence home vol down power colors looks normal

when I turn on the phone colors are good for few seconds and than its comming a pink glow

Try to install GB, root, flash abyssnote kernel. Download Some ICS with .zip extension and flash all files except the kernel.
If this wont fix your problem, i will send my note to service center...

and still the same problem. nothings helps.

I've sent my Galaxy Note to Service Center...
The mainboard was with problem (HARDBRICK by MMC_CAP_ERASE) and was replaced by a new one.
The display was with problem (PINK COLOR) and was replaced by a new one too.

I know Viper touch underclocks the phone when it is locked. Maybe it just gets very slow.

Well that kernel is the one I have the least issues with.
Might want to check if you have a app sucking your memory or cpu.

Yes an app already installed. I know the Viper rom use to have an issue with the browser sucking memory. Don't know if that app was changed in the newer version. Once you find out if an app is causing the issue. You can try cleaning data for that app to see if that solves it. If not freeze or uninstall the app.
I use System Panel pro to see what's going on with roms. They have a free version you can try. It might tell you what's going on.

Might go into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik and see if that helps

HELP, My Phone always reboot. It hangs and then reboot
Sometimes, when my phone is on and my phone's screen is timed out , I wiill press the power button so that the screen will be on,but it auomatically reboots. This always happen. please help:crying:

my phone did not fall on the floor and I flashed a custom rom yesterday. it started happening in the afternoon, today

ROM : Hyperion Gm final

TWEAKS? the tweak that i only remember that I installed is the broadcomm booster version 0.3

i think i got it you see Hyperion have a lot of tweaks and they may conflict with broadcom booster causing it to lag like hell try reflashing the hyperion rom deleting the tweaks then using broadcom booster or flash stock vie odin :fingers-crossed:

maybe the rom is not compatible with the firmware. try to use DXLF1 or DDMD firmware.

maybe its the battery make sure that the battery isn't moving inside the cover

Ok. I will go back to stock and observe if it is a hardware problem

flash the rom again i have same problem with hyperion 8 but then it solved

I'm on hyperion too... Try hells fusion kernel. It's Stable and smooth...
As for tweaks I'm using vulpix3.0+flyon4.0 + gamers ram manager from flyon thread
As far as stability and performance is concerned there is no problem
Change kernel and flash hyperion ril fix(for older kernels like hells fusion) enjoy

ROM for HTC desire 616

Is there an official ROM for the desire 616 yet? If not please do release it soon

I just rooted my HTC Desire 616 using Root Genius App, Now looking for custom ROM and also Stock ROM. Have you tried Cyanogen 11S or any other ROM?
It also does not support USB OTG because of its kernel. Do you have any patch to fix this issue?

you can always try a different kernel which supports the feature

you can download kernel source code from (official HTC Dev site) and you change how do you want in source and compile it, and install in your phone for more help search: "Building a Kernel from source"

HTC Desire 616 broke. need stock rom
Hi Friends,
i know this is not a right tread to check the stock rom but i googled and yet to find a source where details for stock rom for desire 616 can be traced.
my device self boke and land to basic recovery from CWM. it is stuck on HTC logo. if some one share stock rom and method to reinstall CWM, will be gr8 help.

in htc website they have given this procedure.
1.Remove the battery, wait for a few seconds, then reinsert the battery.
2.Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button.
3.Wait for the screen that allows you to choose the boot mode to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button and the POWER button.
4.Press the VOLUME DOWN button to select Recovery mode, and then press the VOLUME UP button.
5.On the screen with the Android image, press the VOLUME DOWN button to select wipe data/factory reset, and then press the POWER button.
6.Press the VOLUME DOWN button to select Yes--delete all user data, and then press the POWER button. A message appears when the data has been wiped.
7.Remove the battery, wait for a few seconds, then reinsert the battery.
