[Q] Changing Kernel imilkas Glacier ROM

Hi,
is it possible to change the kernel from imilkas Glacier v4.0?
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919148)
If yes, which kernels i could use?
Sadly i have problems during phonecalls: i can't hear the opposite after ~1min.
I hope its a kernel problem..

It is kernel issue but can be fixed

Try rafpiga or heiros kernel. The problem should be fixed from gpc's new libaudio.so so you can manually push those files in as well

[IDEA] Port HTC MSM7X30 .35 kernel?

I have been looking around recently, and noticed we only have the .32 kernel, which is made for froyo.
CyanogenMod team are apparently upgrading all MSM7x30 devices to the 3.0 kernel.
I was wondering for in the meantime, some HTC phones are MSM7x30 (DHD) and have .35 kernel source, would it be possible to port a kernel?

Won't we end up with no touch pads and xloud without the libs for the .35 (that don't exist)

Touchpads is ROM related, the whole touchpad goes under a generic multi-touch mouse pad if I remember correctly.
About this, I tried but cant compile, some major porting needs to be done and I just don't have the time.

Sensors problem...

hey guys I need your help, 2 days ago I installed atmel kernel and my ideos was flashed with miui. After this installation I have many problems with sensors. If I open a video on YouTube it automatically goes to full screen that means that my phone has a sensor problem, if you could help me I will really appreciate it

what sensor? what kernel are u using? AFAIK miui kernel .35 does have accelerometer problem.. try another rom..

Wifi doesn't work in custom roms,works fine in officials

Hello! So i got back my phone, where i have left it to get it fixed. I updated to 2.3.5, rooted and then tried to install aurora 5. Wifi wasn't working so i thought it might be because of the version. I tried other versions of aurora but that worked neither. I then tried miui elite and also wifi is not working. Though in official 2.1 and 2.3 it's working just fine. In custom roms it keeps saying "connecting". Could someone help me?

I think, somebody will make a ROM, because Google said, that 4.4 will work fine on devices with 512mb RAM.

You're welcome dont forget to apply test1 or test2 updates if yours have synaptics screen and test3 to solve the black unblock screen.
