Download a hd/z rom form the development section and flash that or wait until htc includes it in a OTA update. No other way you will see it.
End of discussion.

just want a little bit of explanation why htc dhd apps do not install over desire stock rooted rom foryo ( updated)......

i have a unbranded uk x10i, which rom do i need to flash to get latest rom from sony on my phone with dual touch. a link to the thread would be brillant.

Just download SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) and follow the instructions!

Leedroid rom

Is it ok to flash without wipe as this is sense based as i no i didnt wipe my desire before flashing leedroid 2.3d

If you're coming from Froyo, you need to FULL WIPE before flashing LD Gingerbread.
Also, if you're coming from LD Gingerbread Beta 1 and wants to go up (Beta 2 and then Beta 3) then no need to full wipe. Just flash it right away.

Sure you can flash LD 2.2.2 over LD 2.2.1 though a FULL WIPE is recommended.

Is it possible for anybody to port 2.3 OS of Wildfire S to Wildfire ?

They are NOT similar phones, except for the name and outward appearance.
See the thread titled SFM 1.1 in the devlepment zone. Its all that's available so far.

you may have 2.3.5 cm7 custom rom dude. #177 nightly is 2.3.5 andy. why go for old when u have 2.3.4/5 flying around.

Their are various builds for the UK. As some were branded by the carrier while some were not. What carrier are you looking for?

I'm looking for the stock non-branded/unlocked ROM.

But I already saw that, it's gingerbread. I'm looking for FroYo, is it 1.72.405.3? And any clue what's the difference between the two 1.72.405.3 RUUs?

yeah thats the froyo one. all the WWE version have the 405 number. as to the difference i dont know. They look the same to me. My question is why do you want to go back to froyo and not gingerbread

It's cuz I wanna reroot and do eng s-off before going to sense 3.0/GB, cuz I wanna flash a custom recovery with the original ROM.

Just and fyi the gb(sense 2.1) is rootable with the hackkit no downgrade needed, unless your on sense 3.0
