Hi
I am using AOKP B31
IcyGlitch v14 big mem
I use FIOPS scheduler
DeepIdle,and CPU governor is GlitchassV2
the phone is pretty snappy and the responsiveness is very good ,
i have tried CM9 nightly with the stock kernel which is also pretty snappy
i am posting this thread to know the best performance/battery setting ...So what do u use ???
Devil 67 402mb ram version - minmax - sio
thanks will try it ..what would u recommend for Glitch Kernel .. i kinda like it
I flashed to the newest matr1x kernel v10 to my N4 , my ROM is the latest PA 3.60 ...
But the problem is i cant see any option of Simple inside the governo of my GPU in neither TricksterMOD nor Faux clock management...
Hope you guys could help me to find out how to get that SImple governor in order to let me try out that one
Hello,
Can anyone tell me wich governor make the fast performance with galaxy S4 Omega 28 and Kernel KT-SGS4 .
Best Regards
The governor called "performance". I wouldn't recommend it though.
Recomended

What is you recomendation ?
Use the standard governer. Using a different governer would not gain you much benefit (if any).
Help
Can someone plz provided me a download link for kt kernel for s4 gt-i9500... I'm running on resussrection remix Android 5.1.1 I checked ktoonsez website but nothing seems to be working ...ktweaks is installing but kernel is not installing.. I checked with set cpu... Plz help
I want to know if exists a kernel with good performance and reliability with overclock possibilities and DT2W on the "market" did anyone found a good one? i want a good kernel specially for gaming and reliability and DT2W if is possible , thank you very much !
EDIT: I tried a benchmark tool but i forgot to close ~6 Apps lol ,bellow is the result , good or not for 5.1 Stock W/ Stock kernel?
No one know a good kernel? come on guys , i trought you guys are specialists .. :silly:
Tried some kernels like AK kernel & franco kernel but both of them are unstable , at least on stock 5.1 ... can anyone please reccomend me a good , stable one ?
I'd suggest you Quanta kernel

Thanks for the reply bud , i want to use a stable one with overclock possibilities , did you use/used it? could you overclock the device with the kernel installed? what about the battery life , i preffer to ask before installing one wich possibly could not be good for the device needs ..
Yeah I'm currently using it with chroma rom.. You can overclock up to 1728mhz but personally I prefer underclocking for great battery life (more than 5h SOT)
Ok , so i flashed the Quanta V3 then tuned with Kernel Adiutor , runned a AnTuTu benchmark , low score ( about 26.600 ) then Quadrant Standard ( 5.713 max ) then Vellamo ( 794 on multicore ) 891 on metal ... i don't know what's wrong .. i overclocked it , changed the governor to performance , locked the frequency , upvolting , nothing , maybe a bit higher score than previsourious ... the best performance i got was with the AK kernel ( see the pic below ) that's the highest score i ever got i don't know what's wrong , maybe because i'm using stock rom? i don't like custom roms not on this phone , at least ... should i use a stock based modified kernel for 5.1.0 ?
Just scored 29999 on antutu by only changing max frequency to 1728mhz and governor to interactive. If I remember correctly AK has higher overclock frequencies so that could be the reason for higher scores

Yes , on AK you can overclock up to 1.944 ghz but it drains much more battery than Quanta , i think it doesen't exist a good kernel a reliable one ... for this momment i preffer stock kernel with stock rom , i don't like custom roms because them are so slow and unstable , the kernels eat to much battery , that's why stock is better here ...
Hey guys
So I've been rocking Franco Kernel since I first rooted, but now I'm considering rooting without a custom kernel after updating to OOS 10. However, there are a few settings I want to be able to tweak and I'm wondering if I can do that on a stock OOS kernel
Basically, on Franco Kernel Manager the things I tweak most depending on my needs are:
1) CPU / GPU governor, to interactive, conservative, powersave or performance
2) CPU / GPU maximum frequency
3) Cores, sometimes I disable some when in a low battery emergency
Is it possible to change these settings with FK Manager on OOS's stock kernel? While being rooted of course
