Dude.. if you are using GPRS and want download fast and even surf fast then you must TRY opera mobile not OPERA MINI. And enable OPERA TURBO to AlwaysON
you will feel that it downloads faster than your stock browser.
Good Luck..

Well, as long as you understand the concept of latency, and realize that mobile phone connections have EXTREMELY high latency, so high that a dialup modem in the middle of nowhere in a thunderstorm would have a better "ping" than what you'll have.
Mite aswell find out tho see way happens

phone RAAAGGEEE

Ok this has been annoying me for a while now... basically my 3G is very shoddy, VERY shoddy...
Whenever i run speedtest , on a good day it caps out at 0.35mbps, it just won't go any higher evfen though it looks like it can, and more often that not im hitting around 0.1-0.2mbps.
I have tried god knows how many APN's, and before i go and complain to T Mobile etc, just figured it ask if anyone here knows anything i can do.
Im in the UK by the way, in the london area, if anyone else could tell me what their speeds are?
Oh and funny thing is, most the time my 3G icon shows up as H :|

[Q] How to make android download speed faster?

Guysssssssss, can you help me how to boost the download speed? Thanks!!
Get a better internet connection - you can try all the mods in the world but really at the end of the day if you want speed get faster internet
Practically theres no way to get more than ur service provide is providing......bt u can get how much ur promised by trying "Loaderdroid pro" (try free one b4).....Basically its a download manager n u can increase number of connections which ultimately gives u more speed compared to browsers.......try it
Hit Thanx button if it helped u so that others can notice it n try it

It all depends on your network provider and data plan u use..
Try to find out what's the best internet/data plan/provider in your country, sir.

Try opera mini for browsing and uc browser for downloading u might see some improvement.
Try Installing ES file Explorer and try downloading the file u want to download and select Es Download Manager
Hope this would help
If it is press Thanks

You can't just make it download fast. But you can try 3G booster script (it shows improved result in speedtest.net app). And by using "loader droid" app. Its just like IDM (Its a paid app).

Facebook slow on nexus 7

Hey guys!
I picked up a 2012 nexus 7 for pretty cheap and I really love this tab. Does everything I would want it to do. However, one thing that's kind of annoying is the Facebook app is super slow... The app itself is responsive but the data loads as if I have a dial up connection. I ran a speed test from it and get 12+ meg...I also have an iPhone and iPad both connected to the same wireless ap and don't have any issues... All other apps seem to be fine as well. Any suggestions?
Thanks guys!!

It also illustrates who uses it.
That's because the official Facebook app is utter sh*t, it takes a load of time on my tablet as well

Hidden apps is limited to 5 from default 10 or 15 = less services for device to handle.. and use_16bpp_alpha=1 forces your device to use 16 bits instead of 32 bits. Try it. Don't like it? Just delete it. Simple.
