I flashed it then it all of a sudden rsd lite wont find phone.
Phone is un responsive. Tried turn on with vol + - both usb in out put battery in with vol + & - all sorts.
Only bit of life is if I put battery in then plug usb in the charging light comes on so I left it over night.
Any idears people. Im stuck and need help
Thanks.

Ive the same problem... :/

Im sure somebody will have an answer for us my friend.

Battery is empty.
Charge it with external charger or another defy.
O use this.
rsd lite will find the phone after that.
I think your defy originally flashed with a leaked 2.3.4 or higher stock rom so you can't use lower flashfile.
Ask the first owner for information.
(I think that defy is quite "unbrickable" , just find the right rom for it.

Thanks for that. I will give it a try.

[SOLVED] [Q] No charge after flashing custom ROM

Hi everybody!
I've recently bought an Omnia II and I have a big problem.
After a few days I've decided to flash some custom rom but after flashing it there were no charging and I get some message that my battery is not supported or not compatible or something else. I've quickly flashed an original Samsung ROM and everything was fine. Then charged the battery fully and flashed an other custom ROM and have the same result. Nice fast ROM without charge. Now I'm back on stock ROM again but I'm totaly confused. Did I missed something?
Please help!
I flashed my HTC PDAs for four years without any trouble, but it's new to me and found nothing on the net. I searched this forum and MoDaCo but nothing.
Thanks for any help!
Best regards

Hi, try this (worked for me on a htc device some time ago):
-- Turn device off,
--Take out batery,
--Wait 1 min,
-- re-insert battery,
-- do a hard-reset,
-- boot up device completly,
-- plug-in charger (NOT USB-PC)
-- Wait a bit,
-- Should charge, wait untill fully charged (do not mess with the phone untill it's fully charged).
-- Disconnect charger,
-- use phone.
If this doesn't help try flashing a custom rom directly from samsung but "older" then your present one.

Thank you, I've tried but no luck. And neither GSM, nor GPS working.
It's charging only when the device is turned off. May I change Radio ROM?
Sorry, I was blind. I have an i8000, and the ROM I was flashed is for Verizon i920.
I thought its the same hardware but I was wrong.
Thanks for the help.

Reflash Wildfire on original ROM

Hi....
I have rooted my wildfire using unrevoked3, and also trying some customized ROM on it.
But I am having problem on charging it on OFF condition.
During the charging process, the LED keep showing RED and not switched to GREEN. I unplug my charger, press the power button, but nothing happen.
I have to remove battery and put it back to power on.
But everything worked fine when I charge it on standby position.
I noticed in other thread that it was an issue from unrevoked, and I intend to put my Wildfire on 'original' condition.
Have been surfed on shipped-rom.com and download RUU hTC Asia TW 1.18.709.2 and tried to reflash it, but the process stuck in the middle.
It says something like I should try to get a proper ROM or something.
When I tried to download other version of ROM (from shipped-rom), it never succeed. Download process stopped somewhere in 60-70mb (of approx 135mb).
Kindly advice, how can I get my Wildfire back in original condition, please ?
I mean, I would like to have it unrooted and using official ROM.
Thank you.
Rgds,
Andika
Where are you from? Are you from Asia?
If not, the best solution for you at the moment is the 1.37 ROM, which you can also find on shipped-roms.
If you want a rooted version of that ROM, you can find it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=807983

thank you for the reply...
i am in indonesia (asia) and have tried the rooted rom as per xda-dev
but still it cannot fix the problem on charging when the phone is off
honestly, it is not really a major issue as i can start it up using the optical trackpad button. but still i would like to know (if there is) any solution of this bug from unrevoked
rgds,
andika
Hi,
Try download from this link :
shipped-roms.com/shipped/Buzz/RUU_Buzz_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.15.707.1_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31_release_131306_signed.exe
The reason why the rooted ROM didn't fix it is because it doesn't flash the recovery. You need to use an RUU from here file to flash it because that flashes everything.
As you can see from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=769062 ClockworkMod recovery is the problem.

Battery shows only 99% when full charged

Hi
yesterday I flashed my vodafone branded HTC Leo with an stock-Rom and
now when I'm charging the battery the device shows only 99% and the LED remains orange even if I let it charge longer at 99%.
It would be great if the solution would not be to flash a new ROM
I would be very grateful for your help.
thanks
Just turn off device and charge it till led turns green.
Then it should be all ok to turn back on and viola 100% charge.
Thanks for your help
But is there another solution, I don't want to turn off the device always

Have you tried hard reseting your device?
yes, but it has not changed anything
I know that you don;t want to hear it but the only thing you have to do is to flash a new Rom. I'm guessing that you dont want to lose all of your data so I suggest you should backup your device. Personally I recommend using SPB Backup it always worked for me and you will have all your aps, text messages, call log etc.
.. I flashed my device with the official ROM now: (GER) 3.14.407.2 from this topic
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283
and the battery still stops at 99%. My HD2 had an Vodafone Branding and now I
used HSPL4 and this ROM. I just want to have the latest official ROM so I can use every SIM.card in there.
Now the 99% are still the max..
I don't think the ROM is the problem, or could it?
please help me!!

There is a possibility that there was badly an insertion. Try to stitch on the new.
p.s. Not always correctly there is an insertion, happens also such.
I would just remove the battery and try to charge again. I have glitches too with android build sometimes.
I thinks this problem from Android build. Please try use newer build to fix it. First build that I use have same problem.

[Q] Desperately need ARG sbf!

Hello, please forgive me if i do anything wrong, i'm new to the forum and I really need help as i've been doing research on my problem for days now...
I just got a european (german) Droid Pro and was a bit upset about the fact that i couldn't upgrade to Android 2.3, so I decided to try CM9 and at the beginning everything looked as it would turn out quite well, but after a while of testing I noticed the Phone application would not work at all.
After restoring my backup the Pro didnt manage to get over the Motorola Logo anymore, so i became nervous and tried SBF, now my phone is bricked (Code Corrupt) because i belive i used the Verizon SBF... stupid me!
I've heard that i could use the Argentinian SBF to get it all working again but all the links i've found are dead, and i've been looking for them for about 5 hours now! Does anyone of you have the SBF and could reupload it in any way? That would be brilliant!
Oh and Greetings from Germany, XDA!
Don't use rsdlite!!
But only sbf_flash under linux!!
BRILLIANT, thank you so much, it worked!
wow... it's like magic
Thank you!
